At the Island Way Grill, we're all about fresh fish. Our own boats make daily trips to the middle grounds to bring back fresh tuna, mahi, snapper and other local varieties. No long-line fish here-just hook, rod, and reel. If it's any fresher, it is still in the gulf. Most of our cooking revolves around our oak and citrus fired open pit, which sears at an extremely high temperature and adds a delicious smokiness to everything grilled. You'll find an abundance of fresh herbs and only the best quality seasonings. Fresh vegetables are used throughout our menu, and all soups and sauces are hand-prepared. We are also proud to provide an excellent selection of the worlds best oysters flown in fresh for your enjoyment. In addition to our menu, our chefs prepare a varied assortment of daily specials that always add an element of interest to our every-day offerings.

    We always enjoy coming here. The only recurring issues are favorite items being not available due to be sold out and the wait time seating while having a reservation.

    To be candid we have always enjoyed dining at Island Way Grill, over the years they've hosted half a dozen events for us, some with as many as 50 guests. Each event was excellent in all aspects. I chose Island Way Grill for my Father's Day dinner mostly because we like the atmosphere, service and food. Our favorite server is Emily who unfortunately wasn't available last night and we were serviced by Jason. Jason is also an exceptional waiter, he's polite, courteous, knowledgeable about all items on the menu and wine list. He is gracious, efficient and timely. We thouroughly enjoyed the service he provided and of course the food was prepared well, served at the appropriate tempurature and very tasty.

    Sat quickly but the food took a very long time to come out and the restaurant was not that busy. We have been there many times not sure why the food took so long to come out. The waitress did not even address it at all I assume it’s been happening often.

    My husband and I went to Island way grill for our 51st anniversary dinner. We had great service from Jason. We both decided to do the ‘early bird’ (called something else). I had the plank salmon and he had this enormous pork chop. It came with bread service and salad. I added a house wine which was nice. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is that the included dessert was a dry, uninteresting brownie, and unfortunately the out of control children at a nearby table-running around the dining room, screaming, crying while adults did nothing (Not the restaurant’s fault for poor parenting, but still not enjoyable)

    Our server, Kianna was excellent, the food was great and the staff fulfilled a seating request with our reservation and it was perfect.

    My wife and I both had the Chilian sea bass with the wasabi mashed potatoes. We both loved it

    The wood fired Chilean Sea Bass was superb. Never had a bad meal here despite many visits. The Trace Paper cocktail was a surprise and delight.
