Oysters were especially good. Everything was great.
The ambiance... to die for. The service was really good, my waitress Alesha was a sweetheart and the food was amazing. The Nassau grouper was really nice, I will definitely be back!!!
Best Fish and Chips I ever had. The Steak was also cooked just right and was delicious.
We came back for the deserts. Tge night before, the milkshakes were wonderful - very fun and creative. Tonight, they were a disappointmet. Watery and lame. The biggest problem with this restaurant is inconsistency.
My husband had the fish & chips - I had the Butterfish & my 2 year old granddaughter had the chicken fingers with waffle fries. Excellent but very small portions - except for the kids meal which I thought was supposed to be free but was charged $12. The service was great & we were able to enjoy our meals but I thought the portion vs price was disappointing. Beautiful restaurant & Servers were very attentive.
Of all the restaurants at Baha Mar, this one has been the biggest disappointment.
good meal, relaxing.. offers some local staples with flare
We ordered a seafood tower to started with, the oysters were ok but small, the crab claws were tasted previously frozen, the lobster tail was unfresh, part of the skin were dark and was dry, I ordered grouper for main dish as the waitress highly recommended but I was disappointed it has no taste.
The service is excellent, very friendly and attentive. The food was great, and I really like my refreshing cocktail. My Southside fizz was so good I had two. I ordered the Poke bowl and was really happy with my choice, the flavor was deliciou.
We had an amazing meal! The grouper was outstanding and we loved the ceviche and oysters. It was pricey but we weren’t overly surprised because the whole resort was expensive.
I took my girlfriend here for her 30th birthday. With a simple reservation on open table they delivered. Food was amazing and service was excellent.
Semi casual restaurant of local and American cuisine. Moderately priced. Nice ambiance and décor. Highlights - the complimentary corn bread and flavored whipped butter, the grilled lobster (a surprisingly good quantity for the reasonable price of $44), and the creamed corn.
Lows - The grilled 'pepper' shrimp were not pepper and just salty and overcooked.
We were seated quickly without a reservation. However they had two large parties placed near each other on the other side of the room that were competing for noise. Neither group was intentionally loud or obnoxious, just really bad acoustics creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. Water tasted bad, like it had chlorine in it, this carried over to sodas. Food was decent, but we opted to get dessert to go in order to enjoy it.
We loved 3 Tudes. Great Food, and great staff. Ate there 3 out of 6 nights at Baha Mar.
They were out of just about every item on the menu. And then we ordered our tuna rare and it was way over cooked.
Food just didn’t taste good. Service was ok. Ordered red snapper and very dry and too much seasoning.
The food was very good. They seemed to have a problem with the draft beers while I was as there. The bread pudding desert was amazing.
The service was extremely slow. It took about 30 minutes to receive our drinks. After placing our order and waiting another 20-30 minutes, the server came back out to tell us the dish my husband ordered was now unavailable. To avoid another long wait, we decided to share my entree which was the lobster and a side of lobster mashed potatoes. The lobster was extremely tough and inedible, and the potatoes were very dry. We were so disappointed because we had looked forward to eating here the most during our vacation. We basically left the restaurant without having dinner. Our server was very kind and comped my entree, which we told her she didn’t have to do. She kept apologizing, but it really wasn’t her fault. A manager never came to speak to us about this unfortunate experience.
It was a awesome experience!!!!
Best Seat in the House
This was a birthday event which I had reserved ahead of time. we were given an outdoor table with a view of the fountain display, with attentive and friendly service. we received a lovely birthday dessert and cand let which I had not expected. The food was delicious and an overall great experience.
My husband and I were celebrating our honeymoon and visited 3 tides. It was so good that we came back for breakfast the following day. The portions are good for sharing. We had the tuna tartar and the Salmon. Both plates were delicious! Our waitress was attentive and caring! The food was hot and the service was great!
The food was fresh. My husband has a piece of blackened fish and bok choy--grilled perfectly and not saucy out fatty. I had tacos. They were a hard shell, not soft with tuna. Done well. Excellent service.
Arancini appetizer was pretty good. I would've preferred the sauce that came with it to be a bit thicker. Also wish there was more apparent flavor of the "cured ham" that was the one of the main ingredients. I got the salmon which was outstanding. Substituted the warm potato salad for the lobster mashed. Not sure if that was real lobster tbh. But it was still ok. My fiance, not able to eat seafood due to being pregnant, got a NY steak which was surprisingly very very good for a predominately seafood oriented establishment. The corn bread and apple butter were outstanding as well as the asparagus. Didn't have the option for draft beer the night we went, but did ok with a bottle. Service was above average. Overall a nice dinner experience. I would highly recommend
I had the Grouper and my wife had the spaghetti carbonara. She is allergic to scallops so they put them on the side. My grouper was great and the side of scallops was perfect. We will eat at 3 Tides again.
I loved the decor of the restaurant. The staff was pleasant and the food was very good. Came here for my birthday and really enjoyed myslef. The only downside to menu is that with my shellfish allergy my food options were very limited.
My family and i went for Sunday dinner and was very disappointed with the food and service...... drinks took forever to come to the table upon being seated we had ask for a booster seat which 15min later had to ask again for it ........ i had asked for my steak to be cooked med- well they brought me a well done steak the lobster mash was dry and hard we told the server about it he looked at us as if it was a joke ......a manger never came out to address any of our issue but the party on the side of us had seating issues and guess what 🤔 a manager came out to address their problem .......never again will i eat at this restaurant or recommend it to anyone for a restaurant being so slow that night it baffles me how poor the service was..........
3 Tides was the perfect choice for my parents' joint birthdays! The birthday special for September & October drew us in again, after already having a very nice meal there before. I definitely recommend the lobster sushi (forget the name! wrapped in rice paper) for $18, and the wahoo fish tacos to start were SO yummy.
Brandy was such an excellent and friendly server, plus very knowledgable.
What a great bday celebration for my parents, we all thoroughly enjoyed.
We went to celebrate my birthday. The food was excellent both in presentation and taste. Will definitely recommend and will go again!
Terrible service, the slowest crowd to serve I've ever seen anywhere. Everything was a project from being seated (in a empty restaurant) to getting our drinks 30 minutes later to getting our Sushi apps 45 minutes later. Sushi "chef" and staff never made our order (salads sat for 15 minutes before we alerted a bus boy to grab them for us) but served the 2 white patrons at the sushi bar. Sushi staff Had no apologies or sense of urgency at all we watched it with our own eyes. "Chef" went and got plates, bowls cleaned etc before we urged our waitress who went missing every 20 minutes to get us our apps. Salmon was super under cooked and basically raw sent it back and it took SO long to come back I took it to go and ended up with a $30 dinner I never ate. hostess was rude and took 20 minutes to seat us again in an empty restaurant. Managers walked around and mused with certain patrons only.
Went for breakfast our first morning same thing, molasses drying on the wall with the slow service. breakfast was cold (eggs benedict) and they are not cheap, they charge for everything.
Love the ambiance & food.
Great food! Great service! Friendly staff!
The ambiance not consistent with the rest of the baha mar restaurants. Service was awful, no energy. Food was descent but unfortunate for the flat atmosphere
Overall a nice dining experience however our server wasn't overly attentive and therefore made service slower than expected.
As with any restaurant at Baha Mar, set your expectations low for timely service. We were in our seats for 20 minutes before anyone realized we had no server. We could have said something sooner but decided to just wait and see. Eventually we had to inquire because it was obvious nobody was paying attention.
The “best seat in the house” menu is a great option but they don’t offer it once you are seated. You need to ask specifically for it when you arrive and be prepared to sit at the bar. It may be well worthwhile, however. You are able to try 11 different dishes prepared before your eyes by the talented staff. Most were excellent.
Our server was notoriously absent, but the chef (named Charleston) took great care of us and made a special dish for our anniversary.
Food was good. I had the salmon and it was perfectly cooked. Wife and son had fish and chips which they likes a lot. Daughter had Cesar salad which she also liked.
Sonia was our waitress and she was awesome, very friendly. I would go back.
Service all over the Grand Hyatt is exceptional and this restaurant is no different. On top of that the food is perfection with a view of the musical fountains. A wonderful evening and meal.
Although I made a reservation, I had to wait for another 10 mins to be seated.
Receptionist was super slow as well as server. They do not know how to treat customers although there were plenty of empty seats. Their system is just not there.
Everyone was so nice and personable, no contest there. Service was just slow overall. Not sure if it was an off night or what. Food was great, just a lot of it...now I know for future.
Great food and service. The grouper was AWESOME! The milk shakes are fun and the kids loved the cotton candy on top!
