   Last minute decided to stay in and eat at the hotel. Very pleasantly surprised. Food well prepared and served hot. Our server had a nice personality and took time to answer our questions, never felt rushed. Tables were nicely spaced and the bonus was a duo playing and singing that were very good.

   Our waiter Kris was so great. Was able to make the perfect recommendations from cocktails to food. We loved the platter we choose and the ability to substitute for food allergies was a breeze. They accommodated our 4 year old so well and we had the perfect night out. Even thought we were staying at the hotel where the restaurant was located, I would come back again just for the food. We even had breakfast here and the menu completely different and again great food.

    I came here for the first time for the dine-out vancouver menu. And I must say, it was one of the best ones so far. Great price for the amount of food you get. But the taste was phenomenal. We ordered the corn bread as an additional side, it was really good. The waiter told us that the butter was mixed with honey and bee pollen that is harvested at the hotel. That butter was fantastic. Great service and ambience. Will definitely Come back again.

    We went for dine out. The server made us feel really rushed coming over too many times to take our order, clear our plates right when we’re done, popping up and interrupting our conversations and was hard to ask her for water once we paid our bills. There were lots of empty tables the 2 hours we were there. The food was lacking depth in flavour.

    My best friend and I went for the dine out experience and the portions were great, the food was amazing (especially the Brussel sprouts!), the service was incredible, and the ambiance was lovely. I would highly recommend!

    We went to H2 for Dine Out - the food and service was excellent. Loved the banana pudding so much I ordered a second one. Will definitely be dining there again in the near future.

    Our dine out Vancouver experience here was top notch !! The down home great comfort food left us feeling happy and satisfied. You can tell the chef has been patient with the slow smoking of the meats and created delicious spices and sauces and gravies to put the prepared dishes into the next level . Our fantastic wait staff was attentive and personable. Cocktails too were just fantastic. We’ll absolutely return with more friends to spread the love of awesome BBQ at H2 . Come hungry !!!

    Thought the music was a poor choice for such a nice hotel, might want to think about playing jazz as opposed to such a weird mix of old rock bad pop etc. etc. etc. Really wanted to like the food but the brisket was mostly fat so didn't really get to eat any meat. The coleslaw tasted off, almost stale is a way to describe it. Our salads were great as well as the dessert. We did Dine Out Vancouver 2023 and I said above we really wanted to like the dinner but we felt really let down. I don't think we'll be back. But we'll return to H Lounge as happy hour there has some really great choices, like the fish tacos!

    This location is a lounge and dining area. We had some live music that was in the lounge area and we're happy that a partition separated at us in the dining area so it was not too loud. It was a nice consideration.

    Overall H2 is a very good restaurant. The menu is definitely geared towards a meat-lovers, smoke/BBQ house. The cocktails and wine selection were great. Service was excellent. We had dinner, and breakfast there. The breakfast was really good.

    Went for Christmas buffet brunch. Our reservation was for 2:15. Adults $125 plus tax plus 18% service. Children at 55$ each plus tax and service. Not exactly cheap for 6 people. Salad bar contained 2 types of sad, wilted lettuce and fixings. Most of the food trays were either empty or mostly destroyed. I guess we should have made our reservation at an earlier time. Turkey was turkey roll, not fresh turkey. Best part of the buffet was deserts, and even they were limited. We went here because we had been for an Easter brunch buffet many years ago and it was very memorable, so we thought we would make yummy memories again. Unfortunately that was not the case. Sorry, will not return.

    The food was so bad, either overcooked or no taste. The table was dirty when we arrived. 3 out of 5 glasses on the table were dirty, 2 glasses still had coffee stain and 1 glass was sticky. It was Christmas brunch buffet and Santa was supposed to come to the table but didn’t happened.

    Went here for Christmas lunch buffet. The charcuterie section was great, oysters and seafood not bad, salmon with pastry was delicious and roasted lamb/beef was nice.. and some desserts that’s about it. Nothing compared to the Christmas buffet at Belagio in Las Vegas $60 usd where we paid half price of what we paid here $135++ cad. There were more selection there than in H2, not worth the high price.

    Poor communication and lack of quality control/prep by staff for an 5-star priced Christmas brunch that was only 2-stars. Dishes were not labeled and turkey was unrecognizable and I thought the lamb was beef until I got to the beef carving station. A total disappointment for that price; I was utterly disgusted.

    First time in H2 Kitchen + Bar. Really enjoyable experience from the service to the wine to the meal!! There was even live entertainment by a young talented musician. The turkey dinner was delicious and cooked to perfection. Will definitely return to sample some of the happy hour bites and cocktails and a meal from the bbq menu.

    Nice. High quality food. More protein items in the cold buffet would help. Rotisserie chicken now missing in the hot buffet. Some hot items were allowed to get cold.

    Our waitress was lovely, great with our 3 kids and brought out special birthday dessert for my husband. The ambiance was festive and the food was delicious and great value. We will be back!
