Jasmine - Bellagio Ratings and Reviews
This evening was Easter dinner with family. The Service @jasmine is always terrific! Each dish is prepared fresh and always tasty. The food at Jasmine is Cantonese, although many think its Chinese, it’s not- FYI. Jasmine always has a great view to accompany a great dinner.
A great place to eat with a very good view of the fountains at Bellagio. A wide variety of selections from appie to dessert. I recommend the walnut shrimp with the Jasmine rice you will not be disappointed.
If you are really lucky you will have Eliza as your server, she was very efficient and very personable making our 2 dinners there most enjoyable. (We liked the first visit so much we went back 4 days later.)
Jasmine is a beautiful restaurant overlooking the fountains at Bellagio. We have eaten there several times over the years and always enjoyed the food, service and ambiance. It was a little noisy and hectic this past visit (3/23/18), perhaps they were overbooked. This resulted in the wait staff being stretched a bit thin and the noise level being elevated. However this is the first time this has occurred in the many years that we have dined there so we would still highly recommend this restaurant.
The only thing that was really upscale at this restaurant was the price. The food really wasn't any better than any local Chinese restaurant. Our soups were really bland and without much flavor. The view was excellent, but that is the only reason I would recommend going to this restaurant.
Disappointed. The restaurant is beautiful with a great view of the Bellagio fountains from most tables. The service was good, they were attentive and friendly. The food was average. Ordered the combo appetizer platter - the sliced BBQ pork had a large chewy piece of gristle throughout, and was inedible. Potstickers and fried prawns were good. Kobe beef short ribs were disappointing. The sauce was bland and under seasoned while the ribs were well done and nearly dry. The Generals Chicken and Fried rice were done perfectly. This was a dinner for four with one alcoholic drink and 2 appetizer platters. With tip, we paid just over $380. Way too much for this quality of food regardless of the setting and service.
Unfortunately, this once-decent restaurant is now just a huge rip off depending on accidental tourists and people with money to burn and no food-sense. We ordered three items, the first wasn't real hot but my wife ate the lobster dumplings and said she would rather have had pot stickers from our local low-end Chinese strip mall joint. I then received my duck--room temp flabby, nasty plate of cut up pieces of duck fat with rubbery skin. I sent it back and cancelled the rest of the meal. our bill was $350 after ordering an expensive French white wine. Never, ever have I been so disgusted with a restaurant, and also the over rated Bellagio, where the entire place smells like an ashtray.
Where do you want me to start? After we sat down it took a while to be acknowledged. Once we were finally noticed they were accommodating by letting me order the sweet and sour pork I didn’t see on menu. The appetizers come fairly quickly however, my husband ordered the “spicy beef “ appetizer and was given a plate of cold, sliced beef with absolutely no flavor. When we asked why the spicy beef had no “spice or flavor” we were told they were out of the spicy beef and they just gave them this instead and he was given a cup of chili sauce? The entree took FOREVER to arrive. We noticed a few tables seated after us were being served. Lastly, when we were done with our meal they whipped the bill out without asking if we’d like anything else? Dessert would have been nice but, we weren’t even asked. Worst service I’ve had at a restaurant.
Lunar New Year celebration!
I love this restaurant! I have been many times and love going back and introducing friends to this upscale Chinese restaurant! The setting is spectacular! The restaurant sits looking over the beautiful Bellagio fountains. This las time my husband and I treated some friend to a Chinese New Year feast. Food was delicious and service was impeccable.. the decor gorgeous!
Highly recommend especially for small groups because they have many round tables with I feel are the best for being able to talk with all guests.
Sometimes you remember a restaurant as being an amazing dining experience and then go back and are severely disappointed. This was definitely not the case with Jasmine! I hadn't been to Vegas in 14 years and couldn't wait to go back to Jasmine and was so happy it had not changed. The food was delicious, the servicewas excellent and the view of the Bellagio fountains just topped off the evening!
