    Truly the best filet me and my wife have ever tasted and we dine at steakhouses nationwide on a weekly basis. The warm bacon spinach salad was also delightful. This is the ultimate steak house and the manager Heidi and her staff including our Serbian server whose name I don’t recall were equally amazing. I am certain they will remember us as well.     Service was wonderful. Vegan menu was really delightful. One of the only "fancy"and vegan places in downtown. The only thing that wasn't ideal was the first version of the old fashioned they served, was made somewhat incorrectly but they offered and re-made it happily.

    Unfortunately we probably will not be returning. The hair in the food at the end of the meal just solidified it for us. Sadly this was our anniversary dinner and I hadn’t been in years, it’s changed.

    OMG, been way too long since we were there. Will now have a dining reason to go downtown. Between the steaks, the Crispy Brussel Sprouts & the Italian Cheesecake; we will once again be a "regular". Thank you for making our evening last night perfect! all the best, Always johnny

    My wife and I are big steak eaters. 16oz ribeye shared with starters is the way to go, people! Ordered baked potato, wife had mashed. Server mentioned bringing bread and butter a few times but nothing ever came to the table. Food comes out with no baked potato, and I’m told the kitchen ran out. I asked if they could fire the verts but then they appeared on our table when our plates were empty. I’m not sure how long it takes to cook them, so if I’m in the wrong, call me out (I’m sharing to be honest—hospitality is my career as well.) Manager gave us a round of Prosecco on the house, which my wife will never turn down. He and his staff were super friendly. Had a wonderful time overall. Even got a recommendation for a kickass cocktail bar nearby.

    Kres is a wonderful restaurant for special occasions. Impeccably decorated for the holidays, the ambience was perfect as we selected this restaurant prior to our Broadway show that night. The hostess greeted us warmly and sat us right away as we had reservations, and we were greeted by our waiter as we took our seats. Their service is stellar as they were attentive though did not hover. The manager came by while we dined and asked about our meal which makes one feel appreciated, especially since this is a high end restaurant. This is a fabulous place for steak, though I had the duck, and it was superb. We added the Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes as our selected sides and those were also delectable. You will spend a pretty penny here though it’s worth every cent when you’re looking for that special place to go.

    We had a delicious dinner before a play at Dr Phillips Center. The food was outstanding and the service was outstanding. Frank was our server and he made sure we got out in time for the play. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and made really wonderful suggestions. Our dessert took awhile to come out so the manager came to our table and explained the delay. We will return many more time to Kres Chophouse.

    This is my go too when we want to eat out. We have taken all of our friends here and they have all enjoyed the food and the staff. This is a remarkable experience! This year we’ve made the restaurant the center of my birthday celebration! The chef and staff never disappoint. Thank you for a great birthday dinner

    The service both at the bar and for the table were great. We did not feel rushed and the staff was personable and friendly. The food was amazing and the wine list was exceptional. John was our server and Heidi was the GM and both were great!

    We dined at Kres for our anniversary. From the time we checked in until we walked out the door, we had a wonderful evening. We ordered off the vegan menu and the chef had an extra dish sent out and then came to our table to see how everything was. Our server was attentive and friendly. It was nice to enjoy a vegan dinner in such a top tier establishment. We will definitely be back!

    Came in on a recommendation and could not be happier with the entire experience. It was our honeymoon and the service we received was impeccable. Rodney was our server and he made the entire meal memorable. Will DEFINITELY be back for our anniversary!

    This is our 4th time coming to this restaurant and it was as great as ever! The food is always top notch and this meal was no exception. The star dish of the night tho had to be the shrimp and octopus appetizer. Still talking about it! Our steaks (filets) and the beef wellingtons were a hit as well. Our server was awesome and very knowledgeable about the menu. We will be back!!
