Brunch: Sunday: 11:00am - 3:00pm
Service was impeccable! Food was amazing!
We went to brunch after we did a charity 45 min bike ride. The service was top notch and the food was fun and different. Everybody had a good time.
We had a great time! Excellent food, friendly fabtastic service! Try everything because nothing will disappoint you!
Excellent CAB meat. Cheerful, friendly service. Well managed. Menu and food quality beyond expectations. We returned 2 days after our first meal there!
Incredible service. Food was amazing!
The restaurant has gone downhill. They get a lot of tourism so they don’t care about the quality of the food anymore. We ordered four different things, they were all bad… One of them is completely inedible. The wings with fish sauce where absolutely disgusting… And so over cooked that they were dry and crunchy. The service was equally bad. No one was friendly outside of the hostess. Bartenders wanted nothing to do with us even though wasn’t even busy. What a waste of $100 a great night in Charleston. Way too many options just suffer through an experience like this
This place is addictive. I went two nights in a row and we ordered everything on the menu. The deckle was ridiculous and we had a flight of Madeira to boot. Truffle fries are worth the trip alone!
The menu is somewhat limited overall and seems very limited in vegetables. However, our food was perfectly prepared and presented. We would dine there again.
Our service was exceptional. Food was beyond delicious too!!!
Great food and service! Make this a must on your restaurant list!
Authentic Southern Cuisine at it's best. We discovered Macintosh at the end of our stay and would have liked to have switched out a horrible meal we had earlier in our stay. I'd definitely recommend for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Anniversary dinner. The meal was absolutely spectacular!
There are many restaurants to choose from in Downtown Charleston, I am so glad we chose The Macintosh as our date night and ended our vacation with the most delicious meal we had while visiting. The food was outstanding. The wait staff was extremely knowledgeable and on top of everything - service was impeccable. Absolutely amazing spot.
Had a great time, food was made to perfection and our service was exceptional.
Wanted to love this place but it sends mixed signals. The food is outstanding! Bravo! For the vibe, the place is part smart casual dining and part sports bar...did not mesh for me. The cocktails ordered were mediocre and overpriced -- a real turnoff for us (a vodka tonic in a tumbler glass full of ice with very little vodka or tonic). Service was solid and friendly. If you stay away from the mixed drinks and order beer or wine, I would say give it a try because of the food. I will probably never go back...better restaurants in Charleston that check all the boxes.
We loved every minute!!! Our waiter, who was the bartender was just excellent. He taught us about the drinks, told us his favorite recommendations. He. Was. Amazing. We had the bread and fancy butters and split a burger. The truffle fries that came with it were the best I’ve had. I also highly recommend the toast and marmalade drink along with a standard gimlet. Fan. Tastic.
Amazing food and great time!
The food selections were interesting but were made far more so by the excellent detail provided by our waiter. The food was very good and the service was exceptional. I would recommend this for special occasions or just a nice evening out.
The waiter was so knowledgeable and helpful
Just about a five star rating. The bread pudding is amazing but the vegetable plate is seriously disappointing: completely lacking flavor and just a combination of vegetables for 27 dollars. The burger and fries are nice and the Gnudi was fantastic.
As always, you never disappoint. Food and service were excellent.
Always like the CAB Burger at the McIntosh. Can't go wrong.
Food was disappointing. We had the gnudi, which the pasta was good but the honey tomatoes over powered the dish. The burrata was bland and the taste combination didn't work. We then split the deckle and the steak was good but the accompaniments were underwhelming.
Wonderful! We recommend choosing to have the chefs send their choices to the table. You won’t be disappointed. They even handled allergies and food aversions well, explained every dish and it’s content. Can’t wait to go back!
It was our first visit to Charleston and with so many great dining options, we dined at Macintosh on the recommendation of our waiter (a local) from the previous evening. What an exceptional experience. The staff was polite, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about everything on the menu (both drinks and food). There were so many delectable items to choose from, my wife and I took the recommendation of our waiter (Max - great guy), splitting two starters (heirloom tomatoes and zucchini, one entree (swordfish) and one side ("mac" potatoes). All the ingredients were fresh and the food was prepared to perfection, with subtle, balanced flavors that made for a truly one of a kind dining experience. The chefs were even thoughtful enough to split our entree evenly on two beautifully prepared plates. I've had many very good dining experiences, but this one ranks up there as one of the best. The "mac" potatoes alone are worth the trip. We finished with the acclaimed "mac" toast (the bone marrow pudding dessert), which lived up to the hype. I would highly recommend Macintosh to everyone. You will not be disappointed.
Outstanding brunch as always!!
The food was delicious, cooked just right and came out in a timely manner. The service was right on point and both myself and my kids were treated like royalty. The Macintosh never disappoints.
Snuck in for brunch (good tip for those hard to book restaurants). Macintosh is full of amazing artery-clogging goodness, as evidenced by the eye roll from my neighbor as he chomped into his burger with bone marrow. I tried the flavorful veggie hash (potatoes, squash, carrots, onions, fontina cheese) and a toasted slice of pistachio- lemon- blackberry cake with honey butter. Excellent layers of flavors and textures. Nice to see veggie options well treated.
The drinks were fantastic.
Shushito peppers delicious, wreckfish spectacular, and the blackeberry dessert was out of this world! Great bourbon selection at the bar, BUT NO BIG ICE CUBES OR SPHERES...........
Was told they didn t have “normal” fries
So had to order garlic truffle fries. Nextntonis somebody got a slider with normal fries! M Weird
Ordered the slider to het the normal fries
My boyfriend and I ate at The Macintosh while on vacation in Charleston. The food was delicious, the service was outstanding and the atmosphere was nice. The only complaint my boyfriend (who is a picky eater) had was it was too dimly lit to really see well.
We had the deckle and for gnudi, which was both amazing. The serving size is smaller than what we expected but it was enough to get you full.
We will definitely go back the next time we’re back in town.
The food was good but ridiculously small portions for the price. Hence I really can’t recommend it.
Very good place. Food is excellent and the service is very good. The bartender was a little unfriendly and seems to enjoy drama, but she was an expection to a good experience.
Local ingredients and creative menu that has both entrees and small plates. Very nice atmosphere right on King Street in the heart of lots of shopping, bars, and restaurants. Servers are very friendly and the food comes quick. By the time we were done the place was seemingly converting into what seemed like a popular night spot. Highly recommend for just about any occasion.
Great drink. Great food. Great service!
we are regulars and for some reason this sundays brunch was just not up to the standards that we have become accustomed to. we did notice new shift managers and believe this could be it. we will give it a little time and see if it works itself out.
The food exceeded our expectations! All of the dishes were incredible. Don’t miss the Mac potatoes! Our server Laura was so great. She was attentive, kind, and fun to converse with. This place is such a gem!
Amazing! Food was delicious. The portions were small but we every bite was tasty. If they have the duck and octopus on the menu, I highly recommend you try that.
This is an excellent place for fusion eaters. I like specific direct food. I was hungry 2 hours afterward.
