This was our first time at Eighty Acres but had heard good things about it. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I had the Salmon and my wife had Shrimp Risotto ( a special). We also had salads (Beet and Kale) which were also excellent. For desert, we shared the chocolate chip Cookie ice cream sandwich which was a great finish to the meal. We have already recommended the restaurant to several people. My only suggestion is to provide a good fresh bread with the meal.

The soups here have always been among my favorites. Now I can add the scrumptious Coyote Queso flatbread as my go-to appetizer. Eighty Acres always offers a comfortable assortment of chalkboard entrées. We really like it!

Special menu for Mother's Day. Limited menu with few options. Said right on the menu 20% gratuity included. However, when the bill came, they added another 20% to the bill. They did agree to take it off but of course I had to leave a tip for the server. Food was mediocre. My wife's dessert was inedible. Prices were outrageous. Won't go back.

Enjoyed Mothers Day. Had a special menu. We ordered bruschetta and a fried tomato with garlic shrimp appetizer. They were excellent. They need to add these two appetizers to their regular menu. The bruschetta was just like my Italian grandma made. The fried tomatoes were crusted with corn meal. Nice and crispy. Our main dishes were chili crusted steak and mahi mahi. They didn’t disappoint. The fish was moist, glistening and melted in your mouth. The steak was perfectly cooked and topped with a corn black bean salsa which balanced nicely with the chili rubbed steak. This is a gem in the suburbs you shouldn’t miss

My partner and I frequent Eighty Acres and affectionately refer to it as a hidden gem of the Plum/Murrysville area to all of our city-limit dwelling friends. Therefore, I cannot say I was surprised by the excellent experience that was the French Wine Dinner. Not only did I have the opportunity to indulge in a premium choice of French wines paired masterfully by Sommelier, Kayleigh Nestor, with a series of mouth-watering dishes at an extremely fair price, but also the opportunity to learn more about the production and art of describing the character of the wine being served. Most importantly, I discovered how much I love Bordeaux! If you have an opportunity to stop by for a meal or attend an event at Eighty Acres, I would highly recommended you take full advantage of the opportunity. I assure you -- you won't regret it!

This was a French wine dinner. I don't drink wine but the food was fabulous! Every course was outstanding. Eighty Acres is one of the top restaurants in the Pittsburgh area. It is worth going out of your way to experience such fine dining. The atmosphere is comfortable and Chef Don and his team are excellent at pairing flavors and beautiful presentations. Top Notch in every way!

Great menu. Specials are offered off menu. Sweet potato fries are to die for. Chipotle maple aioli? Where can you get that? And not seen Barramundi on a menu since our cruise. Beet Salad is a must with our entree. Our server, Missy was a delight. She knew the menu and was efficient and pleasant. So many things on the menu we want to try. We will be returning often. So glad to have found this local gem.

The regular menu is always a little different, combining many favors to make a consistent, unique dish. Daily specials show what the chef can do with what's in season. Service was attentive and knowledgeable. Always a pleasant experience. Try them, you'll find a dish you didn't expect to enjoy.

Food is always great - and I have been trying to duplicate the sweet potato fries at home and can't do it! First - it's very difficult to push the fresh yams through the fry cutter and they are just not the same. But I asked the waitress to see if she could get the recipe. I was surprised when she said they were frozen - but then it made sense. All vegetables change texture when frozen then thawed. So I got a yam and a purple yam, tossed them into the deep freeze and soon will thaw and cut, dust with cornstarch and throw into the fryer! I'll keep you posted. I make cold smoked salmon, (overnight with gin, salt, sugar dill and juniper berries) then cold smoke (70°F) with cherry wood. then I vacuum bag and freeze. Even if I am using it the next day - I still freeze first - the texture is smoother.

Great gourmet dining. Must try crispy brussel sprouts...absolutely delicious. Gnocchi was like eating cheesy mini pillows. Pork hot wings were very tasty. Burger was juicy and full of rich smokey flavor. Our server was very attentive and helpful. Calm, quiet, unpretencious atmosphere.

Our first steak was way over cooked and super salty. It took 10 minutes to get the one server’s attention and we asked for a properly cooked steak. The second attempt was cooked to the right temp but overly salty and thrown on top of the original sides which we now cold.

We have eaten here many times. They now open at 3:00 and they have an early dinner special until 5:00. My husband got the steak from that menu. It was all very good. 3 courses. Of course the steak is smaller than the regular price menu but it was done perfectly and the soup appetizer was large. Chocolate cake for desert. I ordered from the regular menu Sea Bass it was excellent.

Our service, dinner, dessert and drinks were top notch. Location is a little off the beaten path and the building was nothing to look at from the outside but WOW we had a great evening.
