Crème de La crepe Hermosa opened in 2003 and has been entirely remodeled in 2013 to offer bar seating, where our new wine and draft beer can be enjoyed alongside our combined traditional and new ideas menu. Along with our world famous gluten free Buckwheat batter crepe, the menu also includes such classic French dishes as beef tartar, escargot, and croque monsieur. You can even enjoy an imported cheese fondue that reflects the owner’s upbringing in the French Alps. Next, take a trip to Italia with pasta, risotto, and paninis before continuing to this side of the Atlantic, where the menu embraces the good old American hamburger, but with a brioche bun. It comes available as a lamb, chicken or crab version, or as the namesake TFT, featuring grass fed beef organic heirloom tomatoes, candied shallots, blue cheese, and smoked Gouda.

Went for Tuesday Moules-Frites (Mussels and Fries). We tried all the sauces and really liked the classic white wine and the Dijon. I was disappointed by the fries as they were wedges instead of the thin fries that you usually get in Belgium. It is $25 all you can eat which we heartily attempted! Good fun for cuisine you don't often see in the US. Service was delightfully French.

I really do love Creme de la Crepe, which makes this review more painful. This place is good not great. The crepes are great.Large an hearty for voracious Americans. Service is slow, although the Hermosa Beach branch is a tad quicker. This is “rustic” French ...love a good beef bourgeone and they do ‘this dish well. For potatoes, you get what tastes like a potato cake just defrosted. The merguez sausage is wonderful and prepared just right. Basically you cannot go wrong here. Good reliable French country food. The wait staff isn’t pushy and it’s very pleasant to just hang out with a coffee and a desert crepes Lesson learned eeee.......eel…".

Had to wait about half hour for a group of 8 reservations, so I would say that started off on a bad footing. When we actually got seated, service was fine. Food was good.

The fondue is very tasty, and I lived my smoked trout salad. Dad said his clam chowder was great too. It was a lovely lunch. We will be back.

Went there for Mothers Day special with my daughter. We started with cheese fondue & I had the filet mignon risotto. It was all tasty but the risotto had a port sauce so was rather sweet. But overall, it was wonderful!
