Tarry Lodge Enoteca Pizzeria features Nusser's signature hand-made pastas, exquisite fritti, and succulent meats cooked to order on our wood fired grill. The menu will have a distinct focus on local ingredients and we are taking full advantage of Westport's bustling farmer's market.

The centerpiece of the room is a Mugnaini pizza oven hand crafted by the famed Refratarri Valoriani, a family of artisans making pizza ovens since 1890. This fantastic oven will be surrounded by a dining counter, where guests can watch pizzaiolo Mario La Posta craft his world class pies.

I made a reservation on open table for Sat 5:30 for 4 people. Got to the restaurant and there is a handwritten sign that says they are closed for vacation. Not sure if this was restaurant fault or Open Table but we were disappointed and struggled to find another option

I can't really review Tarry Lodge because it was closed! My friends came up from Greenwich for an 8:00 reservation only to discover it was closed for the week. Why would they allow reservations if they are closing? It was incredibly disappointing (and embarrassing).

The food was delicious. Not too much dressing on the salads and everything was fresh. The branzino was perfectly prepared with a great flavor. We were almost served someone else’s food but our waiter quickly caught the mistake. He was professional and friendly.

We ate indoors. Decor is pleasant trattoria style. Full house. Servers attentive & friendly. My wine was a delightful rosé. The food was delicious- calamari appetizer crisp and tender inside , entrée black fettuccine with shrimp and mild spicy sauce -outstanding! We’ll return. Highly recommend.

We ate outside on the patio. We were sitting right next to the road, which us a busy street, so there was street noise and some car exhaust. Good and service were great! We will return.

The bartender was great and very accommodating to all our needs. The pizza had too much cheese and not enough sausage causing the crust to be mushy. Flavor was excellent. Better luck next time.

This was our go-to Italian restaurant for the past 15 years or so. My kids love their margarita pizza and pasta with fungi; my husband’s fave is shrimp with black squid ink fettuccini and I would alternate between eggplant parm and grilled octopus. The last time we had dinner prior to yesterday was around 2-3 weeks ago and I didn’t enjoy my eggplant parm so much so, that I had inquired with our server if there was a change in a chef. The reply was a “no”. I had always enjoyed this dish as it didn’t only appear interesting but tasted really yummy and light. Just the right amount of tomato sauce and light on cheese compared to other Italian venues in the vicinity. This time the same dish lacked taste altogether. It was bland and didn’t have the mouthfeel it usually does. I definitely didn’t enjoy it and made a mental note to give it a rest and skip it next time. So yesterday I did exactly that and ordered the grilled octopus. When it arrived, it appeared less grilled than I would have liked it and as I bit into it, it was way too chewy and not as crispy. I once again asked the waiter (it was the same waiter, Carlos) if there was a change in chefs…to which he replied with a “no”. He asked if he can send it back to the kitchen for extra grilling. I replied with a “yes” only because he didn’t present me with any other options. The whole experience was strange..unprofessional and appeared as if there was a disconnect between the employees and the management and nobody had any clear directions. The host didn’t appear happy to see us as we arrived at the restaurant…just a real disappointment all the way around. At least for now, until we hear otherwise, we’ll give Tarry Lodge a rest.

The service was slow, which was understandable but we expected this. We were in no rush so the pace of dinner was not an issue. The food was excellent and the staff tried hard to satisfy. It’s all good!

Love this place! The food was delicious - I split the mushroom pizza and kale salad with my friend and the portions were great for the price. Both tasted very fresh and the pizza was one of the best I've every had. The waiter was very nice and frequently checked in on us. Overall, great restaurant for any occasion.

Used our reward points at dinner. Staff was all very friendly and helpful. We had Caesar and beet salads, both so large we finished them for lunch the next day. We also had the roasted chicken with risotto and the spaghetti cacio e pepe. Both were delicious. We recommend and will be back!

Great food and service. Sat at the bar/pizza making area and it was lovely. Margarita Pizza was amazing as was the fried calamari/Gorgonzola salad and chicken parm. We WILL be back!

Juan, the manager, is the best!!! We arrived for our reservation, yet no tables were ready. We waited for a bit before anyone acknowledged us and then Juan stepped in. He immediately apologized and offered us drinks on the house. We took him up on it and patiently waited for a table. Once we were seated he explained that there was an unexpected rush of walk-ins and he thanked us for being so nice and understanding. We told him that it’s so nice to see that restaurants are starting to boom again! He then sent a pizza to us, also on the house. Besides the food being so good, our treatment was above par, we will return.

Reliably great food and service. The ambience does not align with the prices. The restaurant should not be fancier but an interior update or furniture placed slightly less crammed together would be nice.
