THE Steak House also features a glass enclosed dry aging locker. Top grade Midwestern beef is aged for 21 days at 37 degrees Fahrenheit & 67 percent relative humidity. This process tenderizes the meat & gives it a distinct flavor, which is further enhanced by preparing the beef over an open-hearth mesquite charcoal broiler. Once inside the dining room, you will feel right at home. Rural-themed paintings adorn the green walls. The room is rich with dark woods, diamond tufted red leather booths, creating a cozy den-like ambience. The dreamy Steakhouse is more like a speakeasy hidden inside a building that at first glance seems like a gathering of lost people looking for social services. But no, it’s the storied Circus Circus where I once saw a kangaroo box a midget during the folly of my youth. The atmosphere is 100% classic old school steakhouse. Actually nicer than the Golden Steer, our other favorite. We had the king crab appetizer, petite filets, blue cheese wedge, asparagus, bake potatoes and a bottle of Duckhorn Decoy. It was all top shelf. We both agreed that it was the best asparagus we’d ever tasted. Our server was David. You’d be lucky to get him. If you like taxidermy ask to be seated “upstairs.”

It's hard to believe that this steakhouse was in Circus Circus. Once you get past all the cigarette smoke, you get to a beautiful restaurant. The food was pricey, but the food was excellent. The waiters were very attentive. Thank you

Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner! Shared a 24oz bone in Rib-eye and added on the Alaskan King Crab Legs. I upgraded to French onion soup and it was one of the best I’ve ever had with so much rich flavor! My husband said his baked potato was delicious and cooked perfectly. The steak was a perfect medium and very tender! We loved the ambiance and Sinatra music…not to mention the awesome service we had from our waiter, Felix! Truly a great dining experience!

Our server seemed very distracted. He asked us what we wanted to order before we even had menus. Our salads came out about a minute before our entree. We were not checked on after we received our meal. The steak had great grilled flavor, but no seasoning.

Been there a few times so he’s on our go to less when we come to Las Vegas. The Avion’s was very good unfortunately, this time the steak was not done to the Sanders that I liked my steak. They were very sympathetic and took the steak off. Our bill will definitely try again. It’s not always gonna be perfect.

Such a huge disappointment after 15 years since our last visit. The used to flame-kiss their steaks and make the Caesar's salad table-side (especially the dressing), but that is all gone. Steaks are still cooked over wood coals (but not flame-kissed, and their house salad was good, but nothing compared to before. We took friends out to dinner with us touting how good everything was before. So very sad - we won’t be coming back…

We were able to get reservations on a Friday early evening, which was nice after traveling all day. We had some food allergen concerns which I feel the server didn't take that seriously. He did ask if it was a preference or an allergy, which we told him. However he brought me the French onion soup assuring it was gluten free if they left off the crust, which they did, except after having eaten part of it he came back and said it did have a little flour in it. I promptly spit it out... They did However give us dessert for free for my daughters 15th birthday. That doesn't make up for the wheat faux paux...if you have celiacs like we do it can mean a hospital trip, or kidney failure... better understanding of this in the kitchen and with waitstaff would be helpful for guests.

As locals, this is a restaurant we love! The food, service and ambiance are awesome. We are very particular about food and in particular beef. The prime rib here is one of the top two in town. To be great, the rib roast used has to be not only prime grade beef, but also aged. This wonderful restaurant does that which is less common than one might think. The prime rib was so tender the knife glided right through it. The prices are very reasonable for what you get, and if you are like us and not a huge eater, you can share one of their generous sized prime ribs or steaks. This is a must dine at restaurant in Las Vegas whether you live here or are visiting. Very old school. It’s beautifully decorated and the service is excellent.

Drinks were horrible. Two of us ordered mojitos and they were not drinkable. It tasted like they used tonic instead of club soda. Our server was not attentive at all, and in fact forgot our appetizers. It was never realized so my husband had to tell the assistant server to be sure we weren’t charged for them. Two of us ordered prime rib rare, which was so so. Two of us got baked potatoes that were not baked all the way. One of us got the blue cheese wedge which was delicious. We were staying at Crockfords and were really hoping that The Steak House was as great as everyone had said. Sadly it was not.

Food was great and plentiful. Very good tiramisu and large enough for the four of us to share. In town to visit long time friends and they never rushed us to turn the table. We had the best server and helper. Everyone working really enjoyed their jobs. Filet and prime rib were both delicious. Plenty of options.

The New York strip was prepared very well and was a perfect medium. My wife Filet was very thin and for an 8 oz. Should have been thicker. There was no flavor on this filet. Pretty disappointing because I had been bragging on how this was one of the best classic steakhouses in LV. I’m almost afraid to say it but our Morton’s in KOP beats this.

It was lovely. Just as nice as I remembered from a few years ago. Disappointed that the prime rib was only available medium to well done, as that’s specifically why we went, and wanted it done rare, so settled for petite filets. The baked potato was too well done, but otherwise all was good. Richard was a wonderful server…friendly and full of information about how the Strip had changed.

This old school steak house never disappoints! The food is amazing, the service is top notch, and the ambiance is great. Nothing flashy or innovative but if you want a traditional steak house that is consistently perfect, this is the place to go.

When we walked into Circus Circus we weren’t expecting much. But to our surprise it was an old school steakhouse with really good food and very good service. We were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary so I wish we hadn’t been sat next to a group of ‘buddies’ who were having a good time, but overall… excellent service and food. My husband LOVED the wedge salad and I really liked the French onion soup. He had a ribeye which was cooked perfectly and I had the chili glazed salmon… it was light, flaky and the mashed potatoes were perfect. When someone tells you ‘inside Circus Circus’ bypass the casino and look for the jewel of the steakhouse… not a big pretentious name, but delicious food.

The entire experience was awesome from the minute we walked in. The maître d’ was fabulous. Our waiter. Felix was amazing. The food was superb. Definitely has old Vegas field and experience. Definitely by far the best steakhouse in Vegas !!! I cannot say enough about my experience.
