1 word: Outstanding! From arrival to departure; greeted with sincere cheerfulness, knowledgeable staff , food of highest quality, perfect portion sizes, and taste is out of this world! Relaxing ambience with wonderful jazz music that wasn’t too soft or too loud. Like Goldilocks and the 3 bears… Castello was “just right”. Will definitely dine again and bring my whole Italian family with me! Phenomenal job Guys! Keep up the fantastic work!

We go here for one of the best meals we can get. The staff is amazing and the drinks are out of this world. If you have never been to Costello’s you’re missing out. If you try it once you will be a repeat customer.

Always warm welcome and friendly but professional service. A lovely family restaurant with well prepared food. It’s been our favorite for years. The table side service is old world but we all enjoy it. The family that runs this restaurant are all working hard so we can enjoy a lovely night out.

The hidden jewel of Danbury. The food is amazing. The staff is incredible. Such a great atmosphere, its like coming home for Sunday Macaroni! & we are Italian & dont eat Italian out, unless its Castello's!

First visit… will be back Handicapped visitor make sure you drive up to second floor. Waiter retrieved my car from lower level for my 95 year old father, lovely gesture

We loved the restaurant and everything about it including delicious food and great value, however, a two hour wait for food was disappointing. We had assumed we would be out of there by 8:30 and yet we did not get our food until almost 9 pm which made us incredibly late for a family get together we were supposed to attend after dinner.

Had dinner for (3). Service was good, the specialty stingers (peppers) passed around on initial sitting were delicious. Thought and attention to detail was brought to each course, the artichoke and shrimp cocktails were fresh and very favorable. Table ordered both meat and pasta course's for the dinner entree, Cooked to perfection. Wine list had all price points. Would defiantly stop in again. They had a 40ox dry aged porterhouse I wasn't able to try but will come back to hopefully order. Back-round noise was acceptable that you can hear your table talking to one another. Deserts, OMG.... Give this place a try. You will not be disappointed.

My wife and I were going to the Ridgefield Theatre to see Richard Marx. I found this place on a google search. My wife and I had soup (first time I had ever seen or tried brown lobster bisque!). I asked the waitstaff about the brown color and they actually came out and explained it to me. My wife had ravioli and I had cacio e pepe. Both dishes were fantastic! We both walked out of there full and very satisfied! Would recommend this establishment to anyone!

Food way better than expected. Caesar salad not overdressed and made in front of you. Everything was cooked right and nothing overdone. Delicious cheese wheel pasta made in front of you too (delicious!! Share as an appetizer as it rich). Excellent wine selection and the service is what good service really means- a rarity around here. Don’t judge the outside! Come in for a great meal.

The tuna in Dijon sauce was very good. But the scallop risotto special was spectacular. Impressive about the service was that everyone pitched in to ensure that we had wine, gave our order, and always had full water glasses. The burrata and artichoke appetizers were tasty and enjoyable. We will be back
