Another excellent meal at Uncle Jack's Steakhouse. We thoroughly enjoyed the shrimp cocktail, the baked clams, the caesar salad and the filet mignons which were perfectly cooked. We also enjoyed the garlic mashed potatoes, the sweet potato fries and the creamed corn. The banana cream pie dessert was amazing. I highly recommend this steakhouse to all lovers of steaks.
Food was good. Service was excellent.
food is matched by the incredible service!! The oysters were outstanding...as was the steak for two..our waiter was a real professional and though we lingered , no one made us feel pressured to leave
Great Food. Great Staff and service. This was a perfect location for a business lunch.
We love going here. Great food and drinks. The staff was great also. Would definitely recommend and of course be going back.
It was an awful experience.
From the Valet cursing at me for not tipping him what he wanted to the manager's indifference when I brought the issue to is attention.
The food was subpar.
Bone in rib eye was ridiculously small for the price and was awful.
While waiting for my car I had to endure smoking right outside the restaurant's door.
Brought it to the attention of management and again indifference.
Overall an awful experience which I will communicate far and wide.
Uncle Jack's on 9th avenue restaurant much better
We went to Uncle Jack's for my birthday dinner and had a wonderful time. I had contacted the restaurant ahead of time that we were running about 15 minutes late and it was not a problem. We were seated right away. We had a nice table, the service was excellent. We ordered the seafood platter, the filet mignon which was perfectly cooked, the garlic mashed potatoes, the caesar salad an the exotic mushrooms. Everything was delicious. A great overall experience. Can't wait to come back.
My husband and I eat out frequently. This steakhouse disappoints on all levels. The steak was lackluster as well as the sides. The house wine was not good either and the prices were Manhattan prices so, why bother? It is close to our house so, was really hoping we could make this a regular spot.
The service at Uncle Jacks is the best I’ve had, And the food is out of this world. I highly recommend this restaurant.
When in New York and craving a great steak visit Uncle Jacks....Great Service...and Superb Food Uncle Jacks is your best bet.
Everything was great, as always. That is why we keep going back.
Good food and service, WAY too expensive. Peter Lugar price, but not Peter Lugar.
Our meal was as good as you can get. Uncle Jack's is as good as it gets. Of course it is a little pricey but it is was well worth it. I was there with my friend Debbie to celebrate her 50th birthday. The atmosphere and ambience was amazing. The restaurant is small but the atmosphere is incredible. There was a touch of class in the air as Sinatra was playing at a very discrete level. I had two Soli martinis which were impeccable. My friend Debbie had a red wine, which she said was very good. I had the Crab cake to start off while Debbie had the shrimp cocktail. Both were grade A. The crab cake was in a beautiful lobster glaze while the shrimps were huge and extremely flavorful. We both had salads. I had the lobster and avacodo salad, while she had the wedge salad. They both were out of this world. The lobster was so tender it could melt in your mouth. We both raved about the salad. Then our main course came, we both had the surf and turf which was cooked to perfection (medium rare). The lobster was smotth and tender. Not rubbery at all. The filet mignon was so tender it could melt in yoru mouth. Our server, Tracy who was top notch and an overall nice guy, then surprised Debbie with a beautiful chocolate cake. This cake was to die for. Tracy didn't sing Happy Birthday because we looked like we weren't the type and he was right ha ha. I had the pecan pie. It was the best piece of pie Iever had. Debbie had a Bailey's to finish the night off. Tracy and the staff were on point delivering our drinks and refilling our water. I also use a wheelchair so the staff put me in a great spot, they were very accomodating to my needs and also escorted me to the wheelchair bathroom which is on the first floor (The other bathroms are downstairs.) Kudos to the staff. Overall this was the best dining experience I have ever had with a courteous, competant staff. I highly reccomend this restaurant. It made a special night for me and Debbie even more special,
My only comment, is that I felt rushed during dinner, plus it was a Birthday celebration and when the candle with dessert came out, it would have been nice to have the staff sing Happy Birthday. Otherwise the food was excellent.
Our service was excellent. It was perfect for my birthday celebration. I couldn't ask for anything more.
My favorite steakhouse in NY. Food is on point, fine cocktails and great sides. Whenever someone suggests a steak house, I suggest Uncle Jacks.
First time to this restaurant but planning on coming back. Everything we ordered was delicious! Steaks were cooked to perfection. Our waiter was very friendly with great recommendations on what to order from the extensive menu. We came with family and everyone including my picky kids loved the meal.
Looking forward to coming back ! Also FYI Sunday kids under 12 have free menu. Very nice and unexpected touch !
Excellent neighborhood steakhouse! Great service, quality steak. Proof that you don't have to go to NYC for excellent quality steak and service.
Exceptional food, reasonably price. Good wine list, friendly, polite. Will definitely be an active patron.
I've been here 6 times. Never a disappointment. Would recommend to any steak lover.
Everything thing was good except orders were messed up.
The best steakhouse in Bayside Queens and a local staple. It was a nice evening, I would go back.
Steak is always on point. Recommend the truffle butter. Avocado lobster salad was amazing. Bacon is great (1 order feeds 4). Mac and cheese is the best i’ve ever had (added lobster and bacon to it also - highly recommended)
Ended up in basement because we thsught it would be quieter than sitting at table by the bar
Two tables of 6 followed us could not hear each other
Since we where downstairs it appeared we were second cousins to upstairs
Water glasses are small and had to request refills when someone was around
Food was well prepared and tasty
Excellent service and food for our anniversary. Everything was preheated perfectly as ordered and the server’s (Sergio) recommendations were spot on.
Uncle Jack's is our first go-to for a special occasion however it is also our place for a delicious cut of steak any time. Each type of aged beef is tender and delicious an we've tried most of them! I can't say enough about the appetizer selection and highly recommend everything on the menu. We usually order two or four to share at the table. Last night was the (enormous) shrimp cocktail, maple coated bacon, crab cakes and bacon wrapped jumbo shrimps. For a side dish, don't miss the Lobster Mac and Cheese if it's one of the specials. All in all a terrific evening!
Great food and ambiance but pricy so not save for special occassions
The food is good, not excellent. Their pricing pushes the limit. I won't rush back.
It’s so easy all you do is park your vehicle in front valet service takes it away and you go inside and sit down and have a wonderful meal the food is Wonderful the price was a little bit high but as they say you get what you pay for I definitely would be going back I enjoyed it was my birthday special occasion
We felt that the Porterhouse for two was cooked perfectly but lacked a decent flavor .Definitely not worth the $110 charger. The Mac and Cheese was good, not so much the creamed corn. We will not be returning.
The food was great. The steak was perfectly cooked. The staff are funny and very welcoming.
we are never disappointed - our favorite place to dine
Restaurant is over priced gor the quality and service. I noted this was a business meal and we were still seated ny the kitchen. Steak at smith & wolensky night before 20$ cheaper and 3 times better.
We dine there a few times a year and still are so very pleasantly surprised. Every time we are treated with professionalism and courtesy. Of course, the food is worth every penny.
The food was delicious and the service was amazing! I'll definitely be back!
Every thing was great
Food and service were equally as great. I went there in a date and the waiter was amazing. Very friendly and knew exactly how to make you feel at home. Highly recommend. Had a great experience.
Amazing service, actually, the best service ever! Great drinks, fabulous food, well worth the money for a once a year get away! I love this place, you will not be disappointed!!
