The food was excellent but the service leaves a lot to be desirable. Trying to get the attention of our waiter was difficult. I would recommend this restaurant for food but if they require good service I would not recommend it.

Our filet mignons were tender and cooked to perfection. I would recommend the Hudson Valley potatoes - thin sliced and crispy. Our white wine was served well chilled the way it should be. Our waiter was very professional and attentive as well as the other staff. Overall, an excellent experience. Highly recommend.

The service was phenomenal and the staff was knowledgable on the menu and specials. The ambiance was inviting and felt quaint even though it's a large room. The food was cooked perfectly and the dessert was delicious!

Good solid steakhouse fare. Service is a little disorganized or indifferent. To his credit, the Maitre d’ came over and took our orders for several courses as the waiter seemed preoccupied and harried. But still and enjoyable night and I say this hoping to be constructive.

The excessive noise made it impossible to have a normal conversation during dinner. Despite having a reservation, we waited for a table for over an hour. The drinks ordered at the bar during happy hour were charged at regular prices. The food left much to be desired – undercooked sides, a bitter and limp Caesar salad, and a small piece of fish priced at $40, which felt like a rip-off.

Generally good experience but my $63 bone in ribeye was a terrible piece of meat. My dog liked it though. Rest of meals were pretty decent. If you remove my bad meat I’d give it a 7 out of 10

Have dined here a few times and last night, my wife and I celebrated our anniversary with an exceptional meal. The food has never disappointed, the waitstaff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous. Top to bottom, Hudson Valley Steakhouse is a must.

Our server was amazing - Bryan? But that’s where the amazing stopped. The quality of the food did not even come close to matching the prices. The salad was overdressed with what tasted like bottle dressing from a grocery store. Our shrimp appetizer was so over cooked it was like chewing rubber and you could taste that it was previously frozen. Terrible. Then the steak came out - lovely presentation of cutting it at the table but the steak itself was under seasoned and chewy. The potato and mushroom sides even worse. We will not be returning

Ok. I am VERY MADD at myself for not eating here sooner!!!! This place is AMAZING!!! The owner Sergio, was awesome and very engaging! The whole staff was a pleasure and very friendly! The food!!! OMG!!! I am going to just say this outright. I have NEVER had asparagus this amazing. It really blew my mind. No overly garlic or butter flavor. But more of a fresh flavor with a twist of lemon! Yummy!!! Ok. So the rest of the food! Didn't go too crazy. Oysters on the half shell fair price and nice and fresh. The muscles were very good! Entrees we went with the bone in rib-eye MR amazing! And rack of lamb! YES!!!!! Creamed spinach was good. I mean seriously you go to a steak house, it's on the list! Wine prices and selection was very good! And the bartender knew how to mix it up! But you NEED to have the home made Grappa!!!! Wow!!!! All in all this was an amazing meal and I look forward to my next dining experience here!!!!

Our service and food were both amazing! We just moved from the city so we are so great to find such a great steak house close by! Our waiter was funny and attentive. We appreciated his professionalism balanced with good humor. We both had filets cooked to perfection, and the garlic mash is delicious. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic food, plain and simple. The shrimp scampi appetizer was incredible, as was the bacon. I shared with tomahawk for 2 with my girlfriend , which was unreal. The table side presentation set the stage and the meat itself was top notch. The surprise highlight of the meal was the homemade tiramisu for desert. I believe it was a special, but they need to add it to the regular menu. One of, if not the, BEST tiramisu I’ve ever had. Amazing meal, great service, would recommend Hudson Valley Steakhouse to anyone!

Our server Ryan and all the other staff members assisting him were very attentive. We didn’t have to wait for someone to come over and refill our drinks, clean off our table or take our Dessert order!

Had a fantastic experience! Jack our server went above and beyond!! His recommendations were on point. I had the shrimp scampi, it was delicious. My husband had the petit Filet Mignon, loved it. Mom had the Chilean sea bass, she said it was phenomenal. Everything was fantastic. Will definitely be back.

The service was incredibly slow we had to ask for menus and drinks. We haven’t eaten here in a few months but service has gone way down hill The porterhouse for 3 was really a porterhouse for 2. For an expensive steakhouse service and steak quality is a critical component. We will not be returning anytime soon
