Staff was very friendly from start to finish. Valet held the door open for us, immediately was seated, and the server was super personable. Unfortunately, we sat for a long time waiting for our server. Simple things such as water and bread kept being forgotten as tables filled around us. It was a 2.5hr visit that should have been 1 hour. We had 1 appetizer (raw oysters) and 2 entrees (1 was the Thanksgiving special, so it was the quickest out of the kitchen!). Though our server was friendly, we were forgotten and he lacked the follow-through to check on us, take our order, and close our bill. There was a struggle to balance other tables plus us. I watched service be given to other tables and waited 15 min for him to swipe my card and return with the check to sign!! I would give this place another chance but not jumping at the chance for another reservation or able to write an exemplary review.

We’ve eaten here countless times and on Thanksgiving every other year when we are not with our family, because we love the traditional TG meal. This is the first year it was not good. Rather than being nice slices of turkey, it was chunks and they were dry. The dressing was quite dry. We asked for extra gravy (not complaining about the dry food…just making it more palatable). When our check arrived, they had charged us $2.50 per person for extra gravy. It’s not the money, it’s the idea they would charge for something so trivial. Rather than the cranberry sauce, we were given ketsup by mistake. A bite of that messed up our palates. The sweet potatoes and mashed potatoes were good. The service is always top notch there. Not today. It was awful. Slow…which we could excuse because of the holiday. But our drinks were not refilled and we would have to ask for things more than once. And the waiter messed up our check and had to redo it. We were only a party of 4. We were friendly and kind regardless of the situation. Sadly, we will look for another restaurant on our every other year without family.

The food took a long time to come out and it was so incredibly loud. We have eaten here before and everything was amazing maybe it was an off day. The desserts were outstanding…the chocolate bag and apple pie with cinnamon ice cream.

I am a M&S frequent customer in two locations they have in Houston. During Lunch, it seems they reduce waiting staff to an extent that the service is slow. Good standards, just slow service, not attentive staff waiting.

The ambience and service was very good. I was there for lunch and ordered one of the day's specials. It was blackened redfish with mashed potatoes and broccolini. The broccolini was not as expected...it was rather large but still tasty and fresh. The biggest issue was the price. I did not inquire but assumed it was in line or a bit more than other lunch items. It was quite pricey for a lunch item. Otherwise, all was well.

The food is mediocre for the price. Ribeye was horrible, and vegetables were not cooked correctly. The sangria was not tasty at all. Salmon was OK...truffle Mac and cheese wasn't anything special. Waiter was good and attentive.

Service and setting was nice, drinks were good, but food was sub par for a steakhouse / seafood place in Houston. Not sure if the quality suffered due to it being a slow night or if it was because it was ordered off the Houston restaurant week menu. Again would not recommended for quality fine dining.

The service was attentive. I went for HRW and when first seated, I was given the regular menu only. Another server brought my friend to the table, and brought the additional menu. The salad looked great and had lots of candied pecans and feta cheese. My soup was tasty, corn and crab bisque, and did have some pieces of crabmeat in it. It was a small cup and was not hot. We both had the steak frites and although they were both cooked to the right temperature, the meat and fries were not hot. Warm enough to eat, but could have been better.

Food without any seasoning. We ordered a salmon and they delivered a large pasta base with a few bits of salmon. The service is good and the place is comfortable. It is a restaurant that has dropped a lot in quality.

We split the iceberg salad and the Chilean sea bass with a nice glass of Provence Rosé. All great and plenty for us. Unfortunately there was a little drama around the payment. We had Landry’s gift cards. Which the manager has to process ( took 15 min 😳), then they came back indicating they can only be used for food ( no alcohol or tips) and it is apply the full $25 amount, so the 3 gift cards of $25 each were used for $67 credit on the bill. Irritating for no reason, what a way to blow up the goodwill of birthday gifts and restaurant promotion? Looks like the Administrator needs some marketing education or loose sone of his influence.
