The pub was fine, the food okay, but the Cesar salad, at $14.00 was outrageous ! A few pieces of lettuce, some small slices of cheese and boxed croutons, presented very poorly. We asked them to give us more lettuce since it cost $14.00 and the ingredients in that salad were probably less than $2.00, but the chef refused. We felt like we were ripped off, which we were. The other food is decent and reasonably priced.

I've never been there before and found the restaurant through Google. We were going to the NY Ranger's game and were looking for a place that was close by and inexpensive. Well the Pig N Whistle will be our go to place for now on.

It was an overall disappointing experience. The service was extremely slow. They packed the tables in to an almost uncomfortable level. There was very long lapses between the waitress even being in our area let alone checking on us. A couple next to us actually left after no one came to their table for at least 10 minutes after sitting down. I realize it was a crowded night with Billy Joel playing near by and get it but they should have done a better job staffing or the waitress should have done a better job...not sure what the problem was but it wasn't a very good experience.

The Cobb salad I had was excellent and consumed within minutes (I wish it had been larger but reckon the fewer calories, the better). My friend's selection, a Turkey Burger with fries was scrumptious too and I dipped into the fries liberally. We were meeting after a long time and had the quietest corner to chat. The Guinness beer and Chardonnay were top of the line too. Our server was very sweet and helpful. It was the right place to meet on a Thursday afternoon for lunch in NYC. We will visit again.

With so many places to eat in the city, you really need to have outstanding service. Food is food but it was just average at best. The service was terrible. Boyfriend had to track down waitress after 20 minutes of no sign of her to hearing her chit chat with another employee about her weekend. Food came out relatively quick, but waters took forever. Needed a to go plate and my daughter went to waitress station to get it herself. We were seated upstairs, literally in the dark. Both our table and the one next to us were using our phones to see the menu.

We made reservations here for after the Rockettes show and were pleasantly surprised to find it relatively slow, surprising for anyplace in NYC the week before Christmas. We were given a choice of a warmer seat away from the front door or a cooler area near the door, but quieter. We chose quiet, but it was still not cold due to their entryway. Our food, chicken panini .and mushroom onion cheeseburger with fries were all outstanding. Great selection of beer. Wonderful server. We would def go back. If you go, you won't be disappointed!!

Picked this place because it was close to MSG. It was extremely crowded with a large bar crowd. The crowd of course elevated the noise level considerably. With that being said, we had reservations and were seated immediately. Server was on the ball and very attentive given how crowded they were. Food was pretty standard pub fare and was good. Drinks, appetizers, and dinner all came in a very reasonable time frame. For a quick meal before a show I would recommend...but only if you have reservations.

Although we had a reservation, we were seated very close to the front door where it was freezing! Also, some large group was having a party and they just piled all of there coats and bags and umbrellas all over the seats right next to us- constantly going back between our tables go get stuff. Food was good and value good. There were many empty tables inside the bar, but we were seated in a terrible spot.

Disappointed after the many reviews. We Walked almost 20 blocks to experience the food and just did not measure up. Kelly, our server was friendly and attentive, definitely an asset to the restaurant.

The serving sizes are small. The food was not great. The service was terrible, to not only us but the table next to us too. It most likely is a great place to drink, but not to eat dinner. Would not recommend. Plus, I actually got sick right after dinner from the food - the cornbeef was so fatty. Disgusting.

Great location, solid food, attentive servers. Can be a little loud - it's part bar after all. Super fun. Great place to slip away before or after the theatre to get out of the fray. Enjoy!

Service was terrible. Had to flag down another waitress to replenish our beverages twice. Cobb Salad came with no dressing on it. Ordered Chicken Panini but came out on a Ciabatta bun. Had to ask twice for blue cheese crumbles that should have come with our order. Sorry we went there.

We had researched online beforehand so we knew where to head for the RWC semi finals. Great little pub not far to walk from Penn Station. We arrived in time for brunch, and a great choice on the menu with most dishes for $14, inc the mimosa! Great place, food, service and of course the result went our way too!

The hostess was terrible! I made a 7:15pm reservation tonight at 6:30pm with the intention of grabbing drinks before eating. She told me I couldn’t just make a reservation 2 minutes before walking in and that we might not be able to eat dinner “that late.” 🙄 so I explained that we would be getting drinks before eating, to which she said she would probably seat us late. Then 15 minutes later, she came to grab us because our table was ready. So maybe she was having a bad night, but she was terrible and I’ve never had to argue with a hostess before. But the food and service otherwise was superb.
