A Sicilian by way of Chicago, from a family of Sicilian chefs and restaurateurs. He made a name for himself, serving Orange County for 30 years. Piccolino serves some of the best Italian inspirations in Orange County. Piccolino retains its Sicilian philosophy and passion for food by combining traditional old-world flavors and contemporary infusions. When Salvatore Faso opened Piccolino Ristorante in 2007, his goal was simple: to combine his lifelong experiences in the finest Italian restaurants with the finest ingredients, authenticity, preparation, and his passion for the Canyon and its surrounding communities. Piccolino Ristorante serves regional Italian cuisine, including artisan-made pasta, fresh wild-caught fish, and the finest meats and poultry on the market daily. Vintage décor, white tablecloths, and candlelit tables provide a romantic dining experience.

    Our first time here. Were greeted by the owner, Sal. What a nice touch! Appetizers and meal were exceptional, as well as the dessert. My Parpadelle with Bolognese sauce was exceptionally delicious! Our server, Jorge, was very attentive. And Sal came by our table a couple of times to check on us. Overall, a great meal and service. It's a little bit more of a drive for us, but will definitely be back!

    Enjoyed a wine tasting event. Many wines to taste. Albert explained each one very well. If you haven’t tried this experience and you enjoy wine you won’t be disappointed

    Great service. The owner visited our table and he and the waiter had worked together for over 25 years. You could tell the waiter takes pride his service, as well as the whole team. Perfect for business or special occasions.

    It was our Anniversary dinner and they set a beautiful table with other surprises. We love this place and the owner is always very friendly.

    Good, friendly service. The owner actually came to the table to serve our main dishes. Very nice ambience. The food was fresh but bland and spicing it up would have helped immensely. Pistachio gelato ice cream should have been rich, creamy and smooth but was more like regular ice cream.

    Piccolino’s is always a fantastic dining experience. The food is outstanding every time we come for a meal. And the service is just as top notch. Whether it’s to get a pizza for a family meal or for a date night it never disappoints.

    Service was 6 stars! Every bite of food was outstanding. Burrata Campana was fresh and delicious. Beef Carpaccio was divine. I had the polenta appetizer as my entree and it was more than enough and so yummy. My man had the pre fixe Restaurant Week selection of Caesar salad, lobster ravioli and cannoli - each course was superb! His son had the mushroom and sausage pasta and I think he literally groaned in pleasure with every bite. Every thing was perfect!
