Overall a wonderful experience - ambiance, the music, and the service was good. However, $12 5pp tab is pretty high for a buffet that wasn't exciting nor bountiful. Other than oysters and crab legs, rest of the buffet items were ho-hum, same type that one would see at hotel buffets and or at a restaurant. I've seen so much better at the Four Season's and other restaurants for far less price. Also, $125 pp does not include wine/cocktails. For this price, they should offer the basic brunch staples like mimosa and bloody mary as complimentary with a limit of two glasses pp or something. I feel like I paid for the ambiance and the views and helped to pay the rent for the Rainbow Room.

The experience was outstanding and superb in every way. Our server, Rafael went above and beyond to make our experience top notch. Because of him and everyone that we encountered there (the buffet stations, the hostesses), we are ready to visit for a second time. Have already highly recommended this experience to most of our friends and colleagues.

Rockefeller Centre, 66 th floor ..having a champagne, eating wonderful things with the main challenge to choose the right Ines, have wonderful atmosphere, live background music and a view over entire manhattan which is so great and only beatable via the one world trade centre view. We enjoyed second time in 10years. Only go there if you have some something really special, otherwise you start thinking such life is normal!

I took my fiancé for Sunday brunch. The room and views were amazing as expected. The selection at the buffet was very good including the ham, crab legs, crepes, and Belgian waffle. The selection from the menu was very good and did not disappoint either. Additionally the live band gave a great ambiance. The only disappointment was the terrible and extremely slow service. The place was not overly crowded. I can understand slow service for an inclusive menu but at least drinks such as water and coffee should not take 30+ minutes to receive. Also with almost all buffets your used dishes are gone by the time you return to your seat. Here, we only had 3 dishes each and after about an hour we had to pile them up. Lastly I would've expected a quick turnaround on the bill but we had to remind the waitress twice. So overall the food and views were wonderful but the service really disappointed.

Brunch here was the most wonderful way to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The food was delicious - bacon, seafood, desserts, crepes- all of it was delicious. The staff was incredibly nice, from the reception hosts at the base of the super fast elevator to our kind and amazing servers, Rafael. He explained everything, shared with us his favorite items on the menu and even brought us a special dessert for our anniversary. He made our morning so special. The room is beautiful- gorgeous views even on and overcast day, decorated in muted gray and crystal touches everywhere. The musical performers were great. The only disappointment was that there was no dancing- that is my misconception, but still, I was looking for to dancing. Please take a moment to dress in something special- seeing folks dining in such a beautiful place dressed in sweats and sneakers was disappointing.

We arrived on time for brunch on Easter Sunday. We had a 3p reservation for 4 people. We waited over 30 min to be seated. We purchased drinks in the interim but we had to stand with cocktails in hand. Guess what? Last year, we waited over 45 min for seating on Easter Sunday for brunch in the Rainbow Room --even though we had a reservation--- which was booked a month previously. The food is great but the service is aloof and disorganized.

The buffet food is basically good so far as buffet food goes. The crepes were overdone but still edible. We were there Easter Sunday and one group, the gospel singers, were too loud and it was impossible to talk when they were singing, otherwise the music provided a nice ambiance. The service was outstanding and the views were great

We celebrated a trip to NYC with a splurge for Easter Brunch! It was wonderful. We had good service and good food - we were able to converse among our table and visit with our table neighbors. Loved the jazz group and especially the Gospel Choir! The views are spectacular and those combined with the décor help the experience remain special. My only criticism is that having stated that there is a dress code - they should enforce it. There was a group they sat before us that were in cargo shorts with sandals and that detracts from the ambiance of this special location.

Brunch was an amazing experience. Fantastic views of NYC, excellent attentive service, great selection of buffet food as well as a la carte menu. Subdued live music in the background allowed for unstrained conversation. The price is not for the weak of heart. But what the heck, it's only money.

Have always enjoyed a special occasion Sunday Brunch with New York family members when I visit from California, but I do not like their new pricing format now at $125 per person "all inclusive". For just two (2) people with two (2) Mimosa cocktail drinks, bill was $300 plus tip of $50. Total tab for Sunday brunch for 2 now $350 (and I cut back a bit on my usual tip). This price is getting a little rich for my pocketbook, especially for people like us who do not have unlimited appetites. We still eat reasonably, despite the all-inclusive which I am sure works for your "bigger eaters", but not for us. I don't need to support and supplement the bill for those people who can eat non-stop for 2 hours. For this current price and price level, many city visitors like me could buy an extra nights stay in a very nice higher-end hotel room. Overall, do love everything else about the historic Rainbow Room. Bring back the old ala carte buffet at $99 per person, keep it more reasonable for all, otherwise we have many other excellent choices for Sunday brunch in New York.

This was the highlight of our trip! When you go, plan on making a morning out of it! We stayed for 2.5 hours, and enjoyed every minute! The service was amazing, the food was great and full of choices, and the view was absolutley priceless!! Be prepared to spend in order to enjoy it, but I can tell you it is worth every penny! They even remembered it was my sisters birthday. They brought her a card and a special dessert! Although I wish I could go there every weekend, I can't. But I will definitely visit Rainbow Room again! Thank you to all of the staff! You were truly amazing!

We loved the location and the view. Very friendly service and big buffet. But I think that for the price that we paid the food quality could have been better. The meats were in general too dry, there were no side dishes nor salads on the buffet. Poor desert choices and not very tasty. So yes I would recommend the place but the food has to be ameliorated.

The Rainbow Room is a beautiful place for a special occasion. The Sunday Brunch provides an array of food with something to please everyone. The views of New York are wonderful and the room is so elegant. The music was great, not too loud to allow for conversation. Only complaint is that the band was not on enough. They seemed to play two songs and then were off for at least 20 minutes.

we enjoyed a wonderful brunch at RR. it's been ranked as the most beautiful dining space in the entire city..... no argument from me -- it's gorgeous. while the food was great, the same quality chow is likely available elsewhere for less than one third RR's prix fixe charge. irrelevant, imho. our waitress could have been a Glamour cover girl; she & the rest of the staff performed their jobs flawlessly. . i had dinner there coupla years ago; same comments apply. we'll unquestionably return.

We had brunch on Sunday March 19th to celebrate my wife's birthday. Although the brunch is pricy at $125/person, it is totally worth it and you do not leave the place with the feeling that you over paid. The food is amazing with a sea food bar, bacon bar, cheese bar and desert bar. The Rainbow Room also offers a menu of tasty dishes such as eggs Benedict (duck, crab cakes, lobster...) or truffle mac & cheese. No complains either about the service that was absolutely impeccable. Our server, Joseph Darcourt that goes by Joe, was extremely nice and caring without being intrusive. Just the right mix of fineness and humor. To sum up, we had an amazing time, definitely recommend it and will certainly go back for another occasion.

We went for Sunday brunch. The food was lower class mediocre. The only positive about this experience was the view. I could not believe that the food was "cheesey cheap buffet" tasting. The service was reasonable but poor for as much money as we spent in tips. When we arrived, the greeter was. Wet pleasant and we were excited to begin once we were upstairs, the maitre'd was very "stand- offish" and kind of rude. The house band was outstanding. If I had to do it over again, I would definitely not go. It was nowhere near worth the value.
