We went to celebrate my husband’s 40th bday. The place and ambiance were amazing. The food I would say is a bit average and unfortunately not very kid friendly. Although I will say our server was incredible in accommodating that with some plain rice and chicken for my kids. The drinks were great. Not sure if I would go back

bodega negra is a favorite! I had been once before and it was divine so I planned my birthday dinner here and wasn’t sure what to expect during covid times but we had the option of sitting on the rooftop which was so nice! it was quiet up there with minimal tables, three others occupied besides ours but we definitely had our privacy! Enough room for us to all be spaced out without hearing eachothers conversations. Food impeccable as always, ambiance was lovely, the waitress was so cool and friendly and we stayed for hours without being rushed. Will definitely be back again!

It was GREAT to be able to dine indoors. The food was outstanding, the place was clean . We felt safe. The music was great. I felt like getting up to dance. Most of all our Server was exceptional. Ask for Othniel's station. Great food suggestions and quite attentive. We will definitely dine here again.

Tacos was very good as always. Although the chicken tacos was pretty boring and not worthy of any award as they claim on the menu. The turn off on the experience for me was being overcharged for drinks we didn’t order.

The food was great, service was very good, however, the ambience was not at all as expected. I believe that this is due to COVID that they changed the venue and organized the hotel lobby instead of the regular restaurant. it was nice, but did not have the atmosphere expected. This is something that should appear on their website with actual photos and not have the photos of the vibrant bar.

Crusine and cocktails were excellent as was the ambience. Safety measures were observed and efficient. Service and staff were warm, attentive and accommodating. I highly recommend this restaurant and I will return soon.

The restaurant was beautiful! The staff was really attentive as soon as you walk in. The waiter had really good energy and was knowledgeable with all the food choices and drinks. The cocktails were delicious and the entree were amazing!

Overall a good experience my only negative comment is that I felt as if we were being rushed. The wait staff kept coming every couple of minutes to ask if we were done although we clearly were working on our food. Restaurant was not crowded. Became annoying

Food and drinks were excellent. The table started off with guacamole followed by tacos for an appetizer. The margaritas were good and the staff was friendly. I had the steak fajitas and they give it you in an interesting presentation . It was excellent but make sure you dint eat l the lemon or bite on then hot pepper. Desert was excellent. This is a great place to for a special occasion and will make you feel young. The music is however loud.

Took my future fiancé for a nice evening out. Jonathan, our waiter tended to all of our needs. Very friendly and outgoing. Our meal was cooked to perfection by Victor, and he even came out to greet us after sending him a thank you note. A special night night for both of us!!!! Thanks!

This was my first time at Bodega Negra and I was not super impressed. The food is crazy expensive for the portion and definitely not close to the best Mexican food I've had in New York at less expensive places. The drinks were good, so I would say better for drinks than a full dinner. The service was semi-friendly.

We were very disappointed !! We were rushed Through a whole dinner. Everyone who worked there was always trying to pick up Our plates while We were still eating dinner. They have some kind of performance at 11:45 PM on Monday .They were more concerned about setting up for that event then taking care of their customers .If you want to stay you must pay $125. Per person.
