   There were 4 of us that enjoyed a wonderful Christmas dinner. We had appetizers that were delicious the Barata cheese and also the calamari dinner was the fish stew which was very flavorful. Two in the party had the prime rib that they said was delicious. We were pleasantly surprised, good service, and a wonderful atmosphere.

   It was a very nice experience, having a pre-Christmas breakfast at Bacchus with an old friend. I had no idea there was still a restaurant at the Doubletree, or that it was open to the public--I was very happy when I called and they said they were open!

   From cocktails to dessert everything was delicious. We had prime rib and the short ribs which were so darn good. The ambiance was so fun with the Halloween decorations. Pat our server was friendly and attentive and made the whole evening even better. Highly recommend it.

   Better value can be found elsewhere. Poorly made box pasta that was expensive, over cooked and watery. Perhaps their flatbread or burger would be a better option.

    Cristal was an excellent server. She was very friendly, courteous and attentive. She anticipated what you needed even before you knew it and kept the drink refills coming. Cristal’s stellar customer service attitude made for an outstanding dining experience.

    There are expectations created when prices are higher than usual. Such was my expectation with Bacchus, I was very disappointed. The Vineyard Salad had great ingredients but the execution was poor. The Chorizo flatbread also suffered similarly. The Oyster mushroom flatbread was acceptable. The wines mediocre and overpriced. They didn’t have an espresso machine. I would not recommend this restaurant.

    Don’t expect a fun experience with friends sampling the wines of the area. There was no flair or epicurean adventure. The help idly stood by talking about their next day off. The food was tasty and reasonably priced but delivered to the table without gusto or zest.

    It was advertised as a Mother's Day Brunch, but there was none. When we got there they were tearing down the buffet and only few items available. Food similar to any hotel with free breakfast bar. Hard pancakes. Yogurt in cups, no fruit left, no granola. Slim pickings.

    Every single plate was disappointing. The burger was narrated to mush, the swordfish was old and tough, the polenta was bland, and WHY they put vanilla in the mashed potatoes was beyond me. Awful. The signature cocktails were presented poorly, one was served in a glass that was obviously too big.

    Our visit was for a local rain-filled Valentine Night date. We have been there in the past for another such event and were disappointed in the service. Food was great for the price but the service layered the first, second course and desert with three glasses of wine in front of me within five minutes of the first dish. However, this year's service was completely appropriate with very nice timing of each component of the dinner being "just right." And, the food was delicious. I had the lamb with a phenomenal cherry-mint sauce that was as first rate as the bacon-wrapped scallops. Thank you Bacchus for quite a start of the evening!

    James and Josh truly made it one of our best, most memorable dinners we’ve ever had here with our guests. It was such an amazing experience with James as supervisor and Josh as our server. Thank you Tracy for working so hard and having James and Josh on your team.

    My son’s college graduation. After we were seated (8 people) one end of the table had food on the edge and got all over my husband’s hand. I also don’t think our waitress fully understood menu. Because I wanted soup/salad/sandwich combo. I asked what sandwich choice I had & she said tuna. I believe there were more choices than just tuna. So so I ended up with salad and soup. The soup was very good though.

    Went to Bacchus before the symphony. Going before the performance is early and you nearly have the place to yourself. The food and service are always good. We eat fairly light before a performance. Bacchus has a good drink and food selection. We will return.

    The seating by the fireplace was cozy. I dislike being called "guys" by the female maître-d each time she chose to speak to us....Our waiter was OK, had to be asked to bring a straw for my bloody mary, loaded with ice cubes, my salmon dinner was lovely, my husband's pot roast tough. Not very elegant service, pretty country-style (maybe that's what they aim for, however, their prices DO NOT reflect "down home" food!!) Big bill, little service, however, it's the only nice sort of place in town, so we'll prob ably be back and try again!

    We dined on New Year's Eve and the dinner was delicious!!! The Salmon with broccilini was amazing. The staff was very nice. We are looking forward to dining their again. it is located in the Doubletree Hotel in Rohnert Park.....

    We were not told that there was to be a fixed menu, or price for Christmas dinner. Reservation made on line through Open Table; no verbal exchange. On our table, there was a small (4-1/4 " x 5-1/2") paper with very tiny writing noting "Family Style Christmas Dinner": "winter salad, braised short ribs in red wine, roasted split game hens, Mac & 5 cheeses , mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and dessert buffet". No water or bread were served; we were not asked about ordering wine. Within a few minutes a waiter arrived with a large bowl of the mixed salad. We requested ordering wine; advised him that two of the party were vegetarians asking if there was any substitution possible. The chef found two orders of salmon were still available. We were asked if we had special ordered when we made the reservation -- not possible on line. After the wine was served, we started the salad. Several times we were asked if we wanted the entrees to be served. About 5 to 7 minutes later another waiter started bringing in the dinner platters: large bowl of mashed potatoes, a large platter of grilled/roasted vegetables, a larger bowl of Mac & cheese (we refused), and the two meat dishes on the same platter, with some beef juices under the pieces of beef, near the chicken. I asked for a spoon for the juice/gravy, and was given a small teaspoon. Even though we had two salmon dinners, we were served the other meat platter with enough for four. Several times the waiters advised that we could order more of any of the food. The two non-vegetarians could not finish all the meat served. We asked for a take-away box, which was denied. The waiter said they were not using those that day. We asked if the food was to be given away; he apologetically said "no, it will be thrown out". What a waste!!! No coffee or tea was offered. Dessert buffet was some distance from our table. The bill was four dinners at the fixed price. We took home the dessert on plates, napkin wrapped.

    We had very bad experience! I was planning to have a surprise birthday celebration for my daughter , a day before i made sure with the manager if it's ok to bring our own cake and the musical candle for the cake , i even showed her the candle she was very sweet and she even wrote a note to the next day's evening manager and the staff. But unfortunately when our server arrived to ask us what we would like to have for drink .... instead she said "so we have a birthday today" She ruined everything !! I went to talk to the manager Jody Her answer was as simple as "I am sorry" I asked her to check the note , she lied saying there is no note !! But I saw the note with my own eyes.... anyway after dinner we were expecting the cake with the musical candle and here it is with just few regular candle ... her answer "we cant have this kind of candle it's dangerous" ok I understand but why yesterday's manager didn't warn me ?? Anyway In one word they are not professionals and lack of communication. The food was awful and the price way too high .
