   Had to eat here on the last night. My fiancé and I had our first date there and as a cook we came here for happy hour a lot. Best charcuterie board ever I am going to miss this place sooooo much. Thank you chef Rucker for the great food and great memories!

   Unfortunately this was the last night Little Bird is open. We will miss the great gem in downtown Portland but will continue to visit their other restaurant locations.

   Dark and noisy. Food overly seasoned, overly drenched in sauce. Ordered five things off menu and only one was appropriately dressed. Poor location Easy to understand why they are closing. Hope the food is not a reflection of the other location.

    This was my first time visiting Little Bird, but it won’t be my last! I am celiac and had the half fried trout that is SAFE to eat! I can’t wait to try more menu items. I just wish they offered French Onion Soup!

    My husband and I went to Little Bird for lunch for our anniversary! The meal was the best we’ve had in a really long time, and we loved the vibe! They even threw in some champagne at the end to help us celebrate! We are really bummed to see this place closing, but thankfully Le Pigeon and Canard will still be around!

    This has been one of our favorites for many years, so we are sad that they are closing. Not surprisingly, we had an excellent meal with great service. The pecan pie was truly phenomenal.

    We used to love this restaurant but in the last year or so it has fallen down in quality. The menu is strange the food quality is poor (like the steak frites dish was very poor quality meat and very tough for $39). The food arrived cold and it took a very long time to get served. Even the wine took forever to arrive leaving us to sit with nothing but water for about a half hour. Went for the last time just to say good-bye to what was a beautiful, wonderful restaurant at one time. Not surprised they are calling it quits. Hopefully their other restaurants will offer better.

    The staff, from the hostess to the bartender, to the servers all have an attitude. The food was slow in coming and bland and unimaginative. One side, the broccoli and corn, was so over spiced that all one could taste was garlic. Give this place a pass.

    Oh why are they closing? So sad. This is one of our favorite restaurants. The ambiance and service are wonderful. We have tried one of the sister restaurants but just not the same. Here we feel like we are in a lovely bistro in Paris! Will be truly missed.

    I am so sad that Little Bird is closing. This was my second visit and it was just as good as the first. The food was delicious, the service was wonderful and the cocktails were top notch. Excellent all around.

    Little Bird, you are a jewel, and I will miss you terribly. I treated myself to a late lunch downtown, and the host kindly seated me in the window. It was a perfect, sunny, early Fall afternoon. I could take in the whole restaurant from where I sat. Truly, this is the only place in town that makes me feel like I am in Paris. The chicken liver pate and chicken fried trout were both memorable.

    Over all a very good lunch experience. Good selection of wines by the glass. Salad Nicoise was different than the usual with a bit of spicy ness with tuna. Chicken fried trout, an unusual dish of trout fried like a fried chicken served with butter lettuce for a wrap. Very tasty.
