IL Cortile has been family owned and run since 1975. A neighborhood staple in the heart of Little Italy, NYC for over 40 years the Esposito family continues the tradition of sparing nothing to provide only the highest quality ingredients in all Cortile dishes.
We are a full Service Restaurant Establishment offering both A-La-Carte dining and a wide variety of pre-fix menus for group gatherings as well as off premise catering. We can accommodate gluten free and vegan diets. Everything is made to order.

I've been looking forward to coming to this restaurant for a long time after hearing how highly rated it was. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by the taste of the food. It was very mediocre and honestly a little bit bland. I was with the party of 10 and we all order different items off the menu, but it was the same consensus all around that the food was just lacking flavor. The restaurant itself is very beautiful and it did create a nice ambience, but I would recommend trying another restaurant in Little Italy .

Consistently outstanding food and drink in the middle of Little Italy. Service was great as well. I’ve been a fan of Il Cortile since 1980 and it’s been my go-to Italian restaurant in NYC ever since.
