This restaurant was closed when we arrived. They were supposed to have a Thanksgiving meal and everything, it was pretty crazy. Take this restaurant off of your list.

We were not able to dine at Devin on Chicago Avenue since the restaurant did not exist. Despite receiving a confirmation the day before for Thanksgiving Day reservations, we arrived to see an empty restaurant space. It would have been nice to have been informed of the change. Needless to say, we will not patronize Devin ever again after this treatment. It was surprising to have this happen as our reservation was made only a few weeks earlier.

Had reservations there for a group of 6. Pulled up and they were shut down. Had to go somewhere else for dinner. A phone call would have been nice.

Excellent food in a quiet basement setting. Service was attentive, friendly and competent. Grilled barramundi, tuna poke, maple salmon and chocolate velvet cake were all excellent. A free birthday dessert was a nice gesture on top.

Never again! Food took over an hour, then the order wasn’t correct, and they also ran out of the dessert we ordered and didn’t even ask for what I wanted in its place they just brought me something! Some anniversary dinner we had!! Don’t gogo here if you want a special night.

My steak was overcooked but they brought me out a perfectly cooked steak. We didn’t like that our waitress went out and had a cigarette in the middle of our meal and came back to our table dealing of smoke. I recommend a mint.

I requested a quiet table when I made the reservation, and we were seated in a small private room adjacent to the main dining room downstairs. It was perfect for our needs. The service was attentive but unobtrusive, and the food very well prepared. Good serving sizes for the price, plenty of variety so everyone was able to get what they wanted (our waiter informed us that we could get our fish prepared any way we wanted it). Very highly recommend for a business dinner or any time you want a quiet and elegant meal.

This was my second time visiting this establishment. The service was horrible again. We waited over an hour for our meal. Our waiter went missing for long periods of time so we constantly had to ask other servers for assistance. Our bill was entered incorrectly but the young lady (not our server) was able to have it corrected quickly. They were apologetic and gave us a discount on our meals which was a grand gesture and greatly appreciated. The food, biscuits, and carrot cake were absolutely yummy, however, I dont think I'll try them again for a third time.

We overall had a nice night. We waited a while to get service but the manager came over and tended to us and he was awesome. They ran out of crab legs and one of our guests came with those in mind so that was a disappointment. The waitress and the service were a bit slow, she told us when she brought the dessert that we were using the last spoon! The man who tends to the tables was soo awesome. He had fresh pepper ready for the incredible lobster bisque and gave us excellent service. A few snafus but we had a nice night.

Service was outstanding. We have been here multiple times, and the food is always very good. Only annoyance was party at next table allowing their kids to constantly be using their annoying electronic devices, as if the sky will fall if, God forbid, they don't have their gadgets playing for one hour while they eat dinner.

Outstanding service! We all had a wonderful time and everyone loved their food. I would highly recommend the Lobster Bisque!! We are definitely going back and enjoying the shrimp appetizer too:) Great Experience!!

Food was just ok; seating is in the basement level (yuck), server was ill informed on dairy ingredients, forgot a glass of wine, very awkward and went on a monologue we weren't seeking the very minute we sat down. Hostess was nowhere to be found and not terribly aware once she arrived. It was a Monday night so maybe it was the jv team.

I like the prixe fix menu. I like the ambience. Waitress Mia was great. One drawback: two of my guests wanted salmon. Unfortunately your salmon is “farm raised.” We were disappointed because that’s why we went to a “seafood” restaurant.

I sat in the bar area, so I can't say whether any of what follows would be true for the restaurant itself. The wait staff was quite friendly, but service was very slow, and it wasn't clear how well the staff knew the menu. I ordered the chilled seafood platter, which was reasonably priced, but the lobster was overcooked (tough and chewy) and the king crab tasted like it had just been defrosted. The oysters were fine, and the shrimp quite good. So overall, not a big hit.

Fantastic dinner! Our server was personable, professional and immediately offered us complimentary champagne when he realized we were celebrating our anniversary. I had the Maple glazed salmon which was cooked perfectly and one of the best tasting salmons I’ve ever had. We would definitely recommend!

Nice place in a busy Chicago location, so try to get a window seat to people watch. Really good oysters (Petite Sweets), the Firecracker Cauliflower was excellent too. There should be more people here because it is excellent.

Food was good. Service was horrible. Sooo slow. After one hour of sitting, finally got appetizers. Seemed to be some issue with the kitchen and server. They didn't have enough of the 6oz filets (Prix Fixe) for everyone, and then came back several times indicating no 6oz filets at all. We changed orders to go off Prix Fixe - no problem. Then they served a meal with walnuts after being told son had a nut allergy. Not good.

Waitress was not engaging. Felt like we annoying her by not deciding right away. There were 2 tables filled, since the restaurant opened at 4:00. I’ve been here many times before and the staff were very nice and warm. The kitchen forgot my lobster fir my chopped salad. It’s was suppose to be a birthday celebration. But no celebrating here. Sadly, I’ll have to think about coming back anytime soon.
