We are Philadelphia' oldest seafood restaurant serving our neighbors as well as out of town guests for over 40 years in a casual setting. We specialize in the freshest fish, seafood and live lobsters purchased and shipped in on a daily basis. Daily offerings include wild salmon, day boat scallops, sea bass, jumbo shrimp, tuna, catfish, crabcakes and the aforementioned live lobsters to name just a few of the items on our menu. My husband and I each ordered the one and a quarter pound lobster for $25, a well prepared dinner and a real bargain. Our friends ordered fish dishes from the the very large and varied menu. All dinners included two sides which were also very good. We will definitely return but will not order desserts which were not as pleasing as the delicious lobster and fish.

Food was above average but not excellent. Service was outstanding. It's a very small place and only has one bathroom. I loved my Chilean sea bass, his bronzino was "OK".

It was such a cute scene in here. It felt like you were in the middle of the ocean because of the cute tile art on the walls. The food was on point! I like my seating as well, the wall seats have an excess of cords to charge your phone 🙌🏼. Not crowded on Valentine’s Day which is a plus. Recommend the crab and shrimp egg rolls and the Crab cakes and shrimp risotto! It was so good. 😻

Seafood Unlimited was very good. The only issue i have is with the seating. The restaurant is a lot smaller than I anticipated. Because of its size and the way the seats are arranged made me feel like people were sitting on top of one another

A friend recommended a seafood restaurant but I found Seafood Unlimited and loved the story. So I asked my friend which one she preferred. She loved the story too so we went to Seafood Unlimited. What a charming, local treasure! From the time we walked in to the time we left, it was terrific. We had a friendly waitress who knew the menu and helped us select the best options. The food was fresh and delicious. We started with a lovely salad (I think it was the Seasonal Salad-Mixed Greens, Bibb Lettuce, Farro, Roasted Beets). For the entree we selected the Seafood Quintet – Salmon, Tilapia & Sea Bass with Shrimp & Scallops. OMG - one of the best seafood dinners I've had! We ended with a fabulous carrot cake. We got to thank Judi personally. How often do you get to do that???

Horrible, this is one of the worst restaurants I have ever been to. The tilapia I ordered was grey and was spoiled. This is a bar with French fries.

Promptly seated ; serving folks extremely courteous ,knowledgeable , & unobtrusive. Food was delicious ; none of our party of 6 , each of whom had different entrees , was disappointed. One of the very few restaurants in center city Philly where the noise level is low enough to have a normal conversation ; no background music, no tvs blaring sports results ,etc

All three courses during restaurant week were very good. The intimate restaurant was fairly crowded but still quiet. If you want to have a real conversation with a group of people this is the perfect spot.

We were looking for a good seafood dinner but unfortunately, this was not the place to get it. My shrimp was overcooked and tough. My husband's salmon was OK but the portion was very small and there was such a small amount of the green curry sauce he ordered that he could barely taste it. The rolls were of the soft white-bread type and also stale. On the positive side, our server was pleasant and efficient.

I always enjoy Seafood Unlimited. Been a customer for years. I always make sure to attend restaurant week. The steak and grilled shrimp were phenomenal. I’ve never had a bad meal or experience here.

The food was in small portions and it wasn’t very hot. The bathroom broke that night so I wasn’t able to use it. The restaurant was small and it was hard to get around other people seated at tables.

Went to Seafood Unlimited for restaurant week. The food was very good. I had the buffalo shrimp, jumbo shrimp stuffed with crab imperial and the chocolate mousse. My only complaint was that the chocolate mousse taste slightly of almond extract. I am not a fan of almond extract so it was a bit off putting for me. Other than that I was very satisfied.

The food was awful. Friends and I decided to check out this restaurant for restaurant week. I asked to see the regular menu as I did not care of the restaurant week menu selections. I was told the only menu available was the "restaurant week" menu. So, I chose from that menu. Our appetizers were the equivalent to eating at McDonalds, small portion, precooked and did not settle well in our stomachs. Our main course was cold, salty, super small portion, and undesirable, and last but not least the dessert. The dessert portion was child sized and not tasty at all. My friends and I left hungry and 50 bucks lighter. Unfortunately, the women at the table seated inches from us shared the same feelings and we all (8 women) agreed we would not return. To say I was disappointed is an understatement.

So I read the reviews before I met my husband at Seaford Unlimited for dinner. My husband picked this restaurant solely based on its name. I'm the research Gal. So the reviews i read were hit or miss. I read that they only take cash which is weird in this day & age but ok, I stopped & got money out of my banks ATM so that I didn't get hit with a surcharge at SU's ATM. One review said the restaurant was BYOB but another review said it is not...so I asked the waiter when we got there & he said its BYOW (Bring your own WINE) My husband loved his food but I didn't like the stuffed shrimp that the waiter informed me was their based seller. It wasn't for me. I ate one shrimp & past my plate to my husband. Those cajun fries were an awful mistake! He said the crab mixture had No seasoning. I liked the buffalo shrimp appetizer, I just wished that they used the same jumbo shrimp for.the appetizer as they used for the entree. Although I would not recommend this restaurant to family or friends. The service (best service we received in any of the restaurant week restaurants that we tried during the total 2 weeks. For this reason we'd return because now I know what to expect. I think we'll at the bar & just get appetizers.

Had a wonderful time at Seafood Unlimited wonderful conversations with other customers that were there as well we all bonded good my only issue was when it was time for dessert a lot of desserts were not available and I had to settle for something that I did not eat

Food was phenomenal. Small portions but great taste. The size of the place was very small to talk or eat privately. We were so bunched up next to strangers at the little tables that we had to ask to have dinner at the bar instead for more space and privacy.

We have been going to Philadelphia restaurant week for years. This was by far the best restaurant we've been to. The portions were perfect size. The courses came out quickly. The fig manhattan was absolutely wonderful. Everyone in our party of 4 enjoyed their selections We will definitely be back!

Over all I would recommend this restaurant. The one thing I didn’t like was our reservation. Our reservation was at 5pm, the restaurant didn’t open until 5pm (there is a sign on the door). We got there at 4:45pm and had to wait outside until they open at 5pm. Maybe reservations shouldn’t start until 5:15pm.
