The best restaurant in Tulsa, food and service. Mateo and his staff are amazing. Wines from Spain, Italy, France and of course Usa. The best pork chop ever.
Doc's is a well run creole / seafood restaurant in Brookside. The food is always delicious and the service is fantastic. We have been going to Docs both on date night and as a family for years. It is always a pleasure.
Love their charbroiled oysters! Worth every penny! One of these days I'm going to actually eat dinner instead of filling up on oysters and salad! Good wine choices. Lots of fun, esp for a girls night out. Kinda loud if you are looking for a quiet date night, but it might be quieter later in the evening, after happy hour is over.
Great food!! The place It’s a little noisy, because it’s a small place. but it was worthy.
It was extremely loud. Next time I might try heated patio not so loud.
Food was good, service was a bit slow
Doc’s is always a go-to when I’m wanting a fun spot to take out of town guests. I find the food, service, drinks, and atmosphere to be consistently exceptional. This visit was no different. Our server, Ben, provided excellent service and was friendly and accommodating. I had the shrimp and grits and my friend had the filet- both were cooked perfectly. Drinks were top notch and fresh as always. Looking forward to my next visit!
What better place to celebrate your 45th anniversary.
Meal was good, but a pricier compared to similar options in the area. Fresh made chocolate chip cookies with ice cream redeemed the meal. Decent selection of craft beer. Our service was lacking, as the waiter neglected to mention both the happy hour specials and the dinner daily specials, which I happened to overhear another member of the wait staff tell our neighboring table.
It was warm on the patio but the shades and the fans were welcome. Conversation is easier on the patio and we had great service.
I don't think I would return or recommend but there were some pleasant bites.
Thanks Doc! We have never had a disappointment. Your establishment is TOPS!
Restaurant was so accommodating to our large group. Food was great. It is noisy, but that’s because it’s popular. I highly recommend!
Love this place! Food is always superb and the staff is super-friendly and helpful. My friend wasn’t feeling like brunch food and the chef specially prepared perfectly grilled salmon on a bed of gorgeous veggies just for her! Can never go wrong with the sangria or Cajun Bloody Mary, either
The food is always top notch. Great menu. Fun patio where our well mannered dog was welcomed. We will be back!
The Shrimp and Grits are absolutely marelous! A great place for a nice dinner.
We’re fans, but grilled oysters were overdone this time.
The service & food was outstanding as always. And as always, extremely loud lol. I expect it though, again..the food is so worth it!
Excellent as always. There is It’s never a question of quality. It is always good. The fish specials are always “to die for” !
Always can count on exceptional food and service !
Upon arrival, our reserved table for 8 was occupied so only 4 of our group could be seated at the reserved time. That was not a great way to start our dining experience at Docs. However my filet was exceptional and the cucumber crisp cocktail was excellent! I loved the cozy atmosphere but would probably try another location instead of coming back due to the table delay and the staffs mediocre service. We had to flag our server down a few times and she wasn’t prompt in returning to our table with the requested items. For the price of the entrees and cocktails offered, I expected a more polished and refined waitstaff.
We thoroughly enjoyed our brunch visit at Doc’s. Food was great and drinks were fresh, strong, and refreshing. Excellent service as well.
I love this restaurant. The only reason I ranked ambience lower was because the air conditioning was being worked on!
Service was great! Oysters did not live up to expectations.
We love having Sunday brunch here. It can be extremely noisy because it's small and the restaurant is always packed.
The food is good, ambience is energetic and the staff is always helpful. One of my favorites.
Excellent food and service. Unfortunately it was a very loud. We were there during happy hour which played a significant role in the noise level. Aside from the noise I have no complaints. Our server was well informed about the menu and very attentive. The food was great.
I have now dined at Doc's for dinner and brunch and can not recommend it at all. Dinner was such a horrible experience the manager provide my table all with $15 gift cards to return. I waited a few months (nearly a year) to return in hopes that it had gotten better. Upon returning (at brunch), sadly, service was poor again. The food was mediocre at best. From the hostess just staring through the glass door at us, to our waitress informing us that we were wrong and making excuses about the white residue in the drinking glasses, the flat Sprite, the poor quality of a dish ordered (bread filler in the crab cakes) and the old stale musty smell of the dining area it was just a horrible 2nd experience.
Great time at Docs. Our server was very accommodating food and cocktails were outstanding.
Great food and our server was outstanding !!
She was knowledgeable about the wine and food . Great job everyone
The food and service were excellent as expected from the prices we researched. Definitely a reasonable match. There were a very few recipe choices I wouldn’t have necessarily considered as a first choice. But it’s not worth being specific here since they did not lower the overall experience. Order anything with confidence from their unique Cajun menu. Noise level and ambiance were both within reason for a Midtown Tulsa hotspot. Definitely recommended for an evening out, special occasion, or meeting place. Looking forward to the next dining opportunity.
My wife and I love Doc's. The Oysters are great and the menu boasts many excellent American / Creole entrees paired with a vibrant selection of hand crafted cocktails and a curated wine list. What we love best about Doc's, however, is the service. We recently visited the restaurant for our anniversary and Matteo, Katie and the rest of the team went the extra mile and made it a special evening. Many Thanks.
Docs Wine and Food is absolutely delicious! Get there for the happy hour and try ALL of their tasty starters. The beef nachos are incredible! And the liter of wine for a good price is not bad either. Everything we ate was delicious. Well prepared with a beautiful presentation. The ambiance is fun, too! Not too loud. Kind of small inside but takes reservations which is a bonus. Our waiter was awesome. Main entrees are a bit on the pricey end. But well worth it for special occasion get together!
When we arrived our table was ready. There were 6 of us and it was a special occasion, so not having to wait for our table to be put together was great. The food and service was top notch as usual. Great experience for our entire party.
I use Doc's for business lunch and would recommend it. Typically the food is excellent and I especially like Doc's Char-grilled Oysters and the Spinach and Andouille dip for appetizers. Also their soups and salads are great--they make one of the best Gumbo's in town. The dinner or lunch menu is good although I would not recommend the Turkey Avocado melt and the Fried Oyster Po'boy is hit or miss. Their Moules Frites is fun+unique and the Steak Frites is great but not for a diet. The service is typically excellent but the last time I went we were ignored. During good weather it is a great spot to sit outside and watch Brookside.
Great place to eat.... the food was delicious and the waitress was very attentive. Enjoyed the experience .
Food and service were excellent! Place is a little cramped, but worth it. Definitely the place to see and be seen, recommend reservations!
Great place for brunch or a light dinner. The real scrambler and shrimp and grits are my two favorites. Also good to sit outside on a cool day with a big group.
Oysters a little over cooked. Everything else very good.
