I chose Aloha Steakhouse because of the service, the food and the view. They delivered in all three categories in a fantastic way. The servers were attentive and kept our glasses full. The meal was delivered in a timely and gracious fashion, the single biggest reason we chose Aloha Steakhouse is the service. The food is great as well.

We had the BEST experience at Aloha Steakhouse. The food was fantastic and the price was great, but what really set it apart and made our whole experience the absolute best, was our server Beau! He was one of the best servers I've ever had! I've been a server, a bartender and a front of the house manager before for many years and I can say with absolute confidence that servers like Beau are a rare find. He went above and beyond, was super nice and attentive and just made everything exceptionally perfect! It was my husband's birthday and thanks to Beau we will definitely be back to dine at this restaurant. Thank you Beau!

Our Service personnel Beth was great. she made the experience great. Beth was very attentive to our needs and went above a beyond to make our 21st Anniversary memorable. Even when asked what is there to do in the area, since we are not from the Ventura area. The food was delicious and well worth the drive. Beth may have been our server, but there were others in plain clothes who stopped to make sure all was going well, that to me shows that they are guest oriented. Thank you to the entire team working on 3/18 you made things great, Thank you.

Once seated all was very good. Even though we had reservations and many tables were open when we arrived, we had to request a better table with a view of the ocean because they wanted to seat us at a Table that faces the hostess and those who were waiting to be seated.

As much as we normally love, Aloha steakhouse, I was really disappointed on Valentine’s Day. I was hoping for a nice romantic evening. Got our soup and salad, and half way through my salad, entrées came. The timing was awful. My fillet was not cooked right, they take it back and just throw it back on the grill and then when it came back….it was like rubber.

We arrived with 6:30pm reservations and were promptly taken to a table. Good service. Friendly staff. We all split two appetizers and then I ordered the Shrimp dinner with a small side of veggies for $31. The portions were small but tasty. All 4 of us ordered martinis and then we split one bottle of white wine during dinner. We were presented with the bill of $340 which we split between couples. The major negative which we discovered was that the restaurant added an automatic 20% gratuity to the bill and then the final credit card payment slip had a suggested additional gratuity starting at 18%. We asked the server about it and she explained that the automatic 20% gratuity was for the staff to split and that we could add to the credit card payment an additional tip that would go directly to the server. I STRONGLY DISAGREE with this policy. It was a bad ending to our meal.

Our experience at Aloha was great. My husband got his steak char rare. Not a lot of places get it right but they did and it was perfect. Our server was personable and so helpful. Classic Old Fashion was delicious. We will be back.

The service at the bar before our reservation was excellent. All of the staff was friendly, fun and efficient. 10/10 on Maitai and seared ahi starter. Our seats for dining were absolutely perfect with a window view of the ocean. Mahalo to accommodating management. We loved our server, our steak entrees were primo. There was so much aloha and we were so grateful to everyone. We will definitely visit again. A lot.

It was a beautiful day very sunny. We sat outside and could see the ocean from our table. The waitress was wonderful she took care of Our every need. I ordered a ribeye. It was cooked to perfection. We did wish you had cappuccinos but the coffee was excellent. We had a great time and will be back.

Usually I would give Aloha Steakhouse a 5 out of 5, not a 4 out of 5. My wife and I both had fish, and while it was good, we thought it was not as good as on previous visits. Also, the Wedge Salad was changed—less lettuce and more other stuff. It was fine, but I thought it was not an improvement. We had a couple of minor service issues this time, as well. Service was slow both on the delivery of our order and on the delivery of our bill. This also had not happened before. Our server was friendly, however.

Aloha food, service, and the view = fabulous! Black and blue appetizer is delicious. I’ve always enjoyed the food. For the first time, we sat in the room with the windows along the promenade. That was wonderful. We arrived about 30 minutes before sunset and the view was spectacular.

This place is AMAZING...!! As I have recently moved from Washington, I never really noticed the place, which is nice in some ways but once you're inside there's not a moment wasted from the time you are greeted to the time you are seated. I honestly waited about 15-20 for my appetizers and then about 5 mins for my entree. I ordered the filet mingon crustini, salad for the wife and a Prime Teriyaki Baseball Steak for myself. Aerlume in Seattle is nice and this would honestly be compared to that but located in California. The food is so delicious and The Malibu Third Point hand crafted cocktail is superb. The host and the waitress treated my wife and I exceptionally well. There wasn't a time where my water was empty or other drinks as well. Like most restaurants I've been to I have felt rushed to leave for some reason and this place made us feel welcomed and invited us to stay longer. I don't really like to rate things on a number scale but I would definitely come back for another date night with the wife. It's also family friendly and not loud at all. Without trying to sound disingenuous, I highly RECOMMEND you come here and give it a try. You will absolutely not be disappointed. This is coming from a former active duty Army sergeant so I am extremely picking so this review should reflect a lot. Thanks for reading and hope you all have a nice meal. -Spence

The seared scallops were fantastic, along with garlic potatoes that were good. The female bartender made the best Mai Tai I have had in years.
