Lusardi's never disappoints -- outstanding as ALWAYS! Amazing cuisine (truffle risotto!!), perfect service, and perfect ambiance. Equally special for dinner for two or a family and friends gathering. We adore this restaurant!

Menu has a seasonal aspect but all items are fresh tasting and well prepared. Typically close seating and smaller tables. A standard New York scene. Waiters are responsive and well mannered. Atmosphere is best described as brisk.

Lusardi's never disappoints. The service is friendly and always professional. The food is excellent and the ambiance is just right for a lively, somewhat elegant (but never stodgy) neighborhood Italian. Specials are sometimes pricey and out of line with dishes on the printed menu. Ask before you order. Otherwise this restaurant is just right.

For 35 years Lusardi's has been serving fabulous food in a lovely setting. The front of house staff are as good as anywhere, including restaurants that cost twice as much, and the wait-staff are consistently attentive without being intrusive. One could just as easily be in Florence or Venice.

This was our first visit to this local restaurant and we were very impressed with the quality of food and service! Our waiter and sommelier were friendly and knowledgeable and offered impeccable service. One of the specials of the day, burrata with asparagus and roasted pepper was delectable. The waiters kindly customized our daughter's dessert without our asking, when they learned that we were celebrating her birthday. We will be back for sure!

My family and I have been to Lusardi's several times and enjoyed it immensely each and every time. The most recent time was for our daughter's birthday, and they treated us very well, making us feel welcome, even recognizing us from the last time. And, our daughter received a glass of champagne, on the house! Food was delicious starting with the truffle salad and ending with scrumptious desserts. We love this restaurant!

We always get a consistent experience. I especially like the John Dory fish and the eggplant appetizer (Crespelli). My guests enjoyed their veal selection too.

Any restaurant that has been around as long as Lusardi's has in the discerning Upper East Side neighborhood is high quality. Lusardi's brings one back to a past when being a waiter meant a true customer service professional - dignified. And the menu is authentic with delightful specials. They really care how your night goes and check up without interrupting table conversation.

Excellent as always in every way! From the moment you walk in the door you are treated like family. Imer is an amazing host, and his staff are pros (esp. Luis!) and run like clockwork. They know their stuff and are a lot of fun to boot. Be sure to start with a drink at the bar with Veronica, and get ready for what will be a tremendous meal and overall dining experience!

After more than 30 years, Lusardi's remains at the top of the list for high quality food, served professionally but not intrusively, in a lovely environment. We first went to Lusardi's in the early 1980s for special occasions, as it was on the higher end of our budget. With a bigger budget now, it need not be reserved only for special occasions, but it certainly still is an excellent choice for them. And, unlike some places in our neighborhood that push food out too quickly in order to turn tables, Lusardi's management understands the meaning of "leisurely dinner" at which one can actually have time to enjoy both the company and the dinner. We wile certainly back, and you should be too.

The food here was good but it was overpriced for what it was. At those prices, one expects close to perfection and there were some small misses amongst the dishes (seasoning too strong in one dish, crabmeat cocktail was very light on crabmeat and heavy on lettuce shreds). There are many other options in the neighborhood one can find either the same food for cheaper, or better quality Italian.

Started with a very mediocre basket of bread, then an uninteresting salad. Pasta was good, veal was very good. Sevice was very uneven; had to beg the waiter to bring back our bottle of wine. There must be better Italian food on the UES.

The food was a more than welcome pleasure. My grouper was moist, perfectly seasoned and with a hint of the unusual. My guest's pasta was exceptional and the other main course, simply but perfectly prepared. Was moist pleased to see the exceptional ability of the kitchen. Service was gracious without being overbearing.

Food was absolutely wonderful, leading me to order much more than I anticipated...we ate everything. Air conditioning was not working, so the room was fairly warm, but even that was not enough to detract from the food and service.
