Paul the new waiter was excellent.
We've been to Estia many times for both personal and business dinners - it is always great. Their fixed price pre-theatre menu is a super value. Service is always perfect.
Warm and welcoming, convenient to the Kimmel Center, and delicious food. We're not
Greek, but we enjoy the Greek menu items.
Good and service excellent! The salmon was perfectly cooked and the tuna tartare appetizer was fabulous!
Geeat food but really overpriced.
85 dollars for not much on a shellfish tower.
Great Sunday brunch before a theatre matinee. Our servers were attentive, professional and efficient. The food was authentic and quite superb. The ambience was lovely. Though the restaurant was full, it did not feel either busy or noisy. We had a relaxed and very pleasant dining experience.
It was our Anniversary and the restaurant provided us with a dessert to celebrate!!
Service and food were both superb!
The food and service are outstanding. It is pricey but worth it !
Very enjoyable dinner. Servers were very attentive. Well taken care of.
Have eaten here many times and have always enjoyed the experience but Saturday's lunch was exceptionally good (shrimp and swordfish souvlaki). Cooked perfectly!
Food was delicious and service was amazing. But...how can a Greek restaurant NOT have traditional Baklava?!? So disappointed
Service was professional but not stuffy... great experience.
another good experience.
Everyone in our large group enjoyed their dinner! Portions were large and deliciously prepared. We ate several of the seafood options, vegetables, lamb, and appetizers.
Witnessed a restaurant employee leave restroom without washing hands.
Great Greek Restaurant! We went before a show because it is so convenient. It is across the street from the Academy of Music. A new cocktail on the menu was Khloris Passion - sweet and goes down like water. Always get the flaming Saganaki - melted cheese on fire. It is salty and warm. We also had Calamari very tasty. I had an appetizer for dinner, it was baby lamb chops with pistachio's. We also had roasted chicken. Prices are reasonable. Our server was perfect and they sat us in a booth on the platform which is much less noisy than on the main dining floor. Great time and will return soon.
Nice atmosphere and good food. Service was good as well.
Food was fresh and delicious. Service was great. It was a little loud but the restaurant was pretty busy when we got there (around 8:45 pm on a Saturday).
My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at Estia. Friendly staff, excellent food and service. The server surprised us with a complementary desert to share. We had tickets for a show at the Academy of Music just across the street from the restaurant. We will definitely return to Estia.
love this place. always a good choice. Delicious food. Staff always a pleasure. You are never rushed. just a well run establishment
This is consistently good and one of our favorite local restaurants.
Food was good but not great and it was severely overpriced. I won't be returning.
Best Greek Restaurant in Philadelphia...Greek taken to the next level
We had a delicious lunch of 2 courses,a Las and very fresh fish. Price was reasonable. Service excellent.
Nine of us lunched at Estia before a concert on Friday. The pre-concert menu is wonderful. The seafood for the day is always hit with our group. The service was superb getting us served and on our way to the concert in good time. Our bus group actually had two other tables of customers for a grand total of 16 patrons eating lunch there. Everyone was pleased and ready to return the next time we go to PHilly for a concert.
Love their theater menu. Fish of the day was great as always. Lamb was incredible. Great value. Our favoritre pre/post cncert dinner.
We have been to Estia several times. As always, good food, great service. Very good fresh fish selection, prepared as one prefers.
When we decided to have a second glass of wine the server gladly brought us more hummus and bread to go with it. And then more bread at the end of eating our shared salad to soak up the delicious and light vinaigrette!
Great service. The offer of a menu for folks going to a show was very special. They made sure we were done efficiently. The food was very good. Worth the trip.
The service was phenomenal. I’ve already recommended it to a bunch of my friends!
Everything was more than great .
When people say the server makes the meal they are not kidding. Our last visit in the spring was less than stellar. We were there again this past Sunday after a show at the Academy of Music. My husband ordered off the theater menu, I did not. Both of us enjoyed our meals but mine was fabulous. I ordered grilled shrimp and got 4 of the largest shrimp I have seen in quite a while. The lemon-olive oil sauce was amazing as were the shrimp. Then I ordered their special HORIATIKI salad. Again a great dish. Summer tomatoes always ripened exactly as they should be. Next I ordered for dessert the yogurt with honey and toasted almonds. That too was wonderful. Best part was the honey. We had a great meal and the young lady who was our server this time was superb.
Delicious food, excellent service!
Delicious lunch and great service. I would recommend Estia for a lovely meal, lunch or dinner. And great location in center Philadelphia.
Food was solid. Wine prices are ridiculous (and we live in NYC) so accustomed to high pricing. Restaurant is lively and loud - good for families.
Our first time to ESTIA and we will return asap. The food was exceptional and the service, especially from out server SONALI. was excellent. Great atmosphere, buzzing spot - excellent.
Excellent food, and service. We brought two kids (9 & 7) after the theater for dinner and the staff were fantastic with them.
I have been to Estia several times, and by several I mean at least 10. It is our go to spot pretheatre and posttheatre. The theatre menu is a bargain and my wife and I have ordered from the selections many times. I am particularly fond of the boneless lamb shank with tiny Greek pasta. No matter what the fish of the day is,my wife always orders it. She has never been disappointed by the fish. The octopus appetizer is outstanding according to my wife, who fancies herself an octopus aficionado. The bread and hummus that are served prior to the meal are a treat in themselves. The theatre menu offers two desserts, honey cake and baklava. Although both are delicious baklava has always been a personal favorite. The wait staff is always professional and congenial. The ambience is warm and welcoming, although the noise level does rise substantial as the dinner hour approaches, due to the low ceiling. We have never been disappointed by a meal at Estia which is located, literally, across the street from the Academy of Music.
