   Food was okay but mainly American breakfast staple. I wish there was more diversity with the food choices considering the price and that it’s a Hyatt brand. I just think that with a more diverse menu, the hotel can even sell it more as a brunch with option for a la carte. The Filipino lady who attended to us was very pleasant and helpful. Overall, service was very good.

   The food was very good, the view was amazing and the staff was extremely friendly and courteous. We were almost a half hour late for our reservation and arrived just minutes before they closed. Without hesitation they sat us and could not be more accommodating.

   The food was delicious, the service was great. However, the place was dirty, the floors had food all over them, the windows were filthy. I don't know what happened to the cleanliness but it has definitely gone down. When we entered the hotel the windows were dirty. We took a walk along the side of the hotel and each hotel room window was filthy. It was not as impressive as I remembered it about 6 years ago.

   I made reservations for the Brunch that was advertised for 4 adults and 3 children. When we showed up the hostess told us that the Brunch didn't start till noon and our reservation was for 11 am because that's what it showed on the website. Anyway, they were serving breakfast so we at there and the cost seemed like it was the same as the brunch.

   Perfect view of the Manhattan skyline and the waterfront.The food is good but nothing so special.Outstanding service from the reception to waiters friendly and accommodating.Price is reasonable.

    Excellent buffet breakfast. More upscale and food selection is very good. From spinach quiche to smoked salmon. You also had standards like bacon and scrambled eggs, pancakes, waffles. Great view of Manhattan skyline from every table. Our server was very attentive. I liked that she brought us a new pot of tea (no charge) after initial pot was empty along with warm milk which was a nice touch.

    Stopped by for Saturday lunch and the first think I noticed was how empty it was, and how dirty the floors were. Upon looking further details like the dividers in the room and salt& pepper shakers all looked like they needed to be wiped down. Made me weary about the cleanliness of the kitchen. We decided to go simple and order the Cobb salad & burger. It was the most average Cobb & burger, maybe a bit on the bland side. The view was really cool, and our server was very nice but that’s about the most the place had going for it. I recommend the terrace restaurant at the top of Hyatt House over this place if you want the view.

    I would have to say the best part of our dining experience at Vu was the view from the window side. We ordered vegan meals (stated on menu) but one meal came out with goat cheese. They switched the meal for us but the food itself felt like something was missing. I honestly would not want to pay for the same food with such price again. Service was good though, and staff were really friendly and kind. Thank you :)

    The salmon was so bland this is the reason I only give 3star for the food. The mimosas is high content of alcohol. The buffalo and garlic wings are okay, it best when there’s crunch onto it.

    Well, the base price for the buffet was much higher than the web page said. Plus tax and tip even higher. 50.00 breakfast? Old looking dining room? Coffee could be hotter, also.

    Breakfast was good but not the menu that was on website. No ability to sit outside on rooftop which again is implied on website. No cocktails, only mimosas- again false advertising on website. Parking $35. Won't return.

    The restaurant was completely under staffed so it was dirty and a mess to start with. Then instead of having a full service menu to order from, they converted all patrons to buffet only (which they didn’t tell us until we were already seated and ignored for 10 minutes). But they weren’t restocking the buffet so it was leftover from breakfast. I felt bad for the staff that was working hard but this was an awful experience. Not to mention the hair found in my muffin and the hair found in my cauliflower. The only redeeming part was the gorgeous views and heat on a cold day!

    Is just hotel breakfast - took ages to be served no one came over so we had to go looking for server, food was average at best, hotel is in need of a makeover - quite dirty and dishevelled.

    Despite arriving at 1.25pm for our 1.30pm table we were told we were late and to have our order ready for sitting down! Why offer 1.30 if thats the service. Very disappointed indeed

    I’m very disappointed at Vu. They used to have such an amazing menu and we loved to go there with friends that were visiting so they could see the amazing view. But bow the food is not good at all, seriously and the service is nice but very slow. I don’t want to trash anybody I just wish they would do something about it bc it’s such an amazing place. But for now all they have it’s the view....

    Waited 10 minutes for a table to be bussed when there were empty tables available. Waited almost 20 minutes before a waitress came over, only after leaving the table to ask if the table had waiter-service. The waitress was slightly annoying. Not very helpful on the drink selections. The cost of parking was outrageous. It would have cost $35 if I didn't get a discount from the restaurant. Even with the discount the cost of parking was $15! Without a tip. How can a restaurant charge $35 for parking when the meal costs less than that? I will never return to the restaurant, especially if they continue to charge more than $5 for parking. It's ridiculous. I saw dishes of other diners which were not listed on the menu I was given? A restaurant like this would be shut down in one week if it had been in NYC.

    Could not have had a better dinner and they even got us a great table. I mentioned we were bringing our son for his first view of the city and to a nice dinner because he got all A's on his report card. They surprised him a with a free delicious dessert that said "Congratulations " written in Carmel sauce on the plate. Above and beyond in every way!!!

    I came here for the first time to celebrate my fiancé birthday and so far the view it's beautiful, but the food wasn't my best served. I also didn't like the fact we got rushed towards the end, no dessert menu was brought to us other than the check to pay for the service.
