Loved our birthday dinner- everyone picked a small plate and we shared. Alex, our server was outstanding, gave us solid recommendations and was super nice, professional and made our night that much better. The stuffed dates were over the top delish. We remain fans!!!

It's been awhile since I have been here. I loved it before but they have seriously kicked the menu up a notch. For Sunday Brunch they bring fresh house made scones to the table which are worth the price of admission alone.

The food was pretty good - just too much on the spice and ingredients. Sometimes a good short rib is just a good short rib or piece of salmon without having to add 15 things to make it "interesting". The edamame were way too spicy and too many "extras". Good wine list and great service -

Sazerac was outstanding!
Food was meh. It could have been fixed, but the server took so long to return that we gave up and didn’t want to stay to try again.
They did remove the overcooked calamari and the tuna poke that had an odd, sour flavor from the check.
The oxtail and gnocchi would have been good, but desperately needed salt and was half pearl onions, which we did not eat. The tomato soup was great but also, sadly, underseasoned.
We were offered dessert on the house, but the milkshake was more like ultra-cold strawberry milk.
Too bad, we were excited by the atmosphere of the hotel and the restaurant.

Always a good time with good food ! Superb Sunday Brunch menu - lots of choice. Service was ok but server seemed a little confused but it didn't spoil the overall experience. If you enjoy Mimosa and Bloody Mary, check out the self serve bar. We'll definitely go back ! Great car valet service especially with validation given in the restaurant.

The entire staff from the moment we pulled up were friendly and efficient . Tje food was delicious and the drinks didn't disappoint. After dinner drinks in the lounge was a wonderful way to wrap up a perfect evening.

Went for restaurant week as we had never been here before. On my reservation I had specifically asked for a "quiet" table as this was an anniversary dinner. when we arrived, the host indicated that the booths were all taken, even though there was one open. After we reminded him this was for our anniversary, he "rearranged" the reservations and gave us the booth. thank goodness because the open table area was very noisy and our booth shielded us from most of it (except for the loud table just outside our booth with a guy that had to sing and swear the whole time he was there.) never mind. The food was great . Had the short ribs for my entrée and my wife had the scallops. Both were excellent. the calamari was to die for. cooked perfectly. Not too enthralled with the Buratta appetizer I ordered even though it was highly recommended by the server. And the Bananas Foster dessert was just ok. Nothing to write home about. Overall though it was a very pleasant night and will likely come back.

Breakfast was bland - no flavor. Grits were west coast style (creamy) and tofu block was grilled with no spices. A disappointing meal. Server was friendly but not knowledgeable about availability or preparation of foods - had to go ask.

I’m not going to lie the original reason for going was the Showstopper shake I saw on instagram (basic I know), and I left with an overall great experience which has kept me coming back. The menu changes seasonal which makes it desirable to go back because you will experience different dishes throughout the year. I like the atmosphere because the inside is very retro mod style of furniture and decor. If it isn’t million degrees out the patio seating is almost nice at night.

So let’s dive into the food. This last time I went I shared four different appetizers, and I’m glad I did!
The first one was the baked brie. I have had this in the past so I know I like it a lot, I’m a huge cheese fan. The cheese wasn’t melted except for the very edges, so a little disappointing but over the caramel with with almonds is awesome on top. We did have to request another piece of bread because it only came with one which is fine the server was really helpful and it didn’t cost anything extra.
Next was the short rib “tater tots” a total 10/10. The tater portion was smashed potatoes with the short rib mixed. The horseradish aioli was a perfect complement to tie it all together.
The third appetizer we had was the pork belly mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was really good. A nice balance of cheesy, crunchy, and savory. The pork belly is cooked to perfection and everything just kind of melts in your mouth.
The last and possibly my favorite one we had was the organic maktoom dates. I ordered it because it said bacon wrapped and I was not let down. These flavors I wouldn’t have expected to have gone so well together they are rich but delish! Would be my pick to recommend for someone.

One of the meals was not satisfactory but the waiter and manager asked about the food that was not consumed. I didn't complain. They are very tuned in to customer needs.
They also offered an alternative meal and took the item off the bill.
Booth seating was great and valet service very nice.

Cute decor. Excellent wait staff. Seared Ahi Tuna Salad was skimpy on the Ahi. Patty Melt was ok. Hummus plate was delicious. Did not get any alcohol this visit, but they have a great Bloody Mary Bar for weekend buffets.

Overall, it was a lovely dining experience. Server was attentive, food was paced well. The crispy calamari was abundant and crunchy, the batter reminded us of the old Kentucky Fried Chicken recipe, which is not a bad thing, just unexpected. The jalapeños were a nice change.

The truffle chicken was good, maybe a little dry. The scallops were perfectly cooked, but over salted. And I love salt.

There was live music playing in the lounge which was a nice touch. Probably would eat there again when it is not hot outside so we can enjoy the patio.

Food was ok. A bit stingy on the alcohol for bloody Mary’s and mimosas. Service was a bit slow, but ambiance was fun. I would eat here for Sunday brunch again. I really liked the fact that it was not too loud and music was not deafening. At last a place for good conversation.

We went to ZuZu to celebrate Father's Day. I was a little disappointed to start, as I'm sure I had requested inside seating via Open Table, but was told only outdoor seating was available. It was rather warm outside and by the time we had finished, my son was no longer in the shade. However, the service was very good. Our waiter was friendly, checked on us frequently, wished my husband a happy Father's Day twice and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. The food was good, though not as great as we had expected since we had been to the restaurant for dinner previously and were really impressed.
