   Your server was so helpful to the point when she knew the kitchen was going to get busy as it was Durby day and a larger party was coming in she told us we should put our orders in sooner. Great place

   Great experience: We were taken to our table early (no waiting), the server was very attentive and addressed all our needs, the food was top notch and the drinks were very tasty (Margaritas). It was a memorable experience that made dinner out with friends amazing.

   The Good: The Prim Rib and Salmon were excellent. And hashbrowns were AMAZING. I have not idea what they added to the hashbrowns, but they were DELCIOUS. Of course, the service was exceptional, particularly for a buffet event. Usually you get your drinks and the server disappears. Not today... our server was OUTSTANDING, and she continually checked on us. The Bad: Not worth the money... The pastries and desserts seemed like they were bought at Walmart. The bacon was WAY too salty. And the eggs were adequate, at best. French Toast was just okay, but the BYO french toast bar was solid (aside from it being a disasterous mess). Granite City also needs to make napkins available near the plates on the buffet line. The Ugly: Nothing. Unfortunately, we were underwhelmed for the price. We will find another option for Easter brunch next year.

    I have always loved eating at Granite City. The Easter buffet was a bit disappointing though. A lot of the food was not hot enough and was bland. Nothing special about the buffet like it used to be. The service and drinks were exceptional!!
