Great food in a fabulous location. Worth seeking it out but make sure you reserve a table because it’s very busy!
Was a fine meal but not at a 5 Star rating. We were seated at a corner window which was partially blocked but could see out and enjoyed seeing the seals at Pier 39. The Scallops and Crab Risotto was great, the Halibut was good but dry, the wedge salad was slightly drowned in dressing. Overall it was a fine meal in a nice setting.
Food and service fabulous! Mussel fries a must try! Everything we ate and drank was fabulous. One thing- they no longer accept open table reservations. They accommodated us anyway even though there was a wait for walk ins. The manager checked with us and went out of his way to make sure we were still accommodated.
Fog Harbor is a must whenever we are in San Francisco...great service from the time we arrive, food is always up to expectations.
The Dungeness Crab Cocktail is awesome as is the Blue Cheese Garlic Bread. This place had great service and food. A must when in SF!!!
Great! Location and lunch hit the mark!
The baked oysters were smokey with bacon, just delicious. A little awkward eating with a dinner fork, but worth every bite. I had the crab risotto with scallops. The scallops were prepared perfectly. Unfortunately, the risotto, although tasty, was gummy. The view of the bay was very nice.
Nice restaurant and delicious seafood
Fantastic food. Great Service. View was amazing. Will definitely be going back!
Service was fantastic outside of the girls out front who were less than friendly... table was perfect... food amazing and views were everything they claimed to be!
Outstanding atmosphere, food, and service!!! I wouldn’t hesitate to come back next time we are in San Francisco!!!
Clam chowder was a bit salty. The bacon pieces in my wedge salad was not enough and the kids burger should not come with a seeded bun. I had to sit there and pick off the seeds for my child. The menu goes as far as not putting any lettuce or tomato on it, a non seeded bun would've made it even that much better.
Crowded place, but with great view and food. Reservation recommended.
Food quality is a bit shaky. Crab is not really fresh. Service was good though.
We were seated immediately upon checking in at the hostess stand. I had requested a table by the window and we were given a great table with a view of the Golden Gate Bridge and of Alcatraz. The service all night was spectacular. Friendly and attentive but also not hovering. We had the muscles and fries and then the clam chowder. Everything was executed perfectly. Truly a great meal.
The food and service was excellent! Our servers Michael and Eugene were the best ever!
Fog Harbor sits in a busy location at The Wharf. Food was good but our meals arrived about 2 minutes after our soup was served. We felt rushed to finish and leave
Than God for this food! Fog Harbor is a place I discovered a little while ago at PIER 39 and it has maintained its quality over the years over each visit. Looking forward to my next visit, likely with family members in SF!
View was amazing. Staff was helpful and friendly. Jessica the waitress was wonderful. Thank you for a great dining experience. Shout out to sean and kenneth with helping with reservations!
Food was fresh and excellent
No issue with reservation
Service was very accommodating
Fog Harbor Fish House is a nice restaurant in fisherman’s wharf. It’s in the center of tourism but the food is good with ocean view. The ambience is fun and it’s a good place to take parents or people visiting out to seafood.
We dined here for our last dinner in San Francisco before our return home. We experienced excellent service, great fish 'n' chips, wonderful harbor view from our table. For all these reasons an excellent choice. The cost of the meal was moderate by local standards and thus represents a good value. The place was packed even at 5:15 p.m. Reservations a must. Noise level mitigates against romance, but the food, service and view make up for the sound level.
Awesome! Awesome service; great food. Get the clam chowder for sure.
We spent 5 days in San Francisco on a family vacation & chose Fog Harbor for dinner for my daughter’s 16th birthday. It was the perfect choice. We were lucky enough to get a table by a window for a get view and the food was excellent! If you enjoy cocktails the Hibiscus Margarita is a must try.
Great food and service. The pasta is to die for. The seafood platter is sumptuous
Really great! Food nd service impeccable with generous portions. Great cocktail and beer list. The view is fantastic
Food was deliciious. Packed at lunch on a weekday and service was slow. Nice view
The restaurant was fabulous and the chowder amazing as was the seafood platter, we are visiting from UK and it was a pleasure to have dinner with the guys at this restaurant.
Location is busy after noon, Pier 39. Personnel was terrific, view was exceptional, the food was top of the line except the lettuce. We had Baked Oysters (5 stars), Clam Chowder (5 stars, added a pinch of salt), Risotto (5 stars, Scallops were a 10), Cal Crab Caesar (3 stars, lettuce seemed old or bagged), Prosecco (5 stars), Hibiscus Margarita (10 stars. . LOL it was so good), House Chardonney (5 stars). I would recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.
It was good!
Excellent! Amongst the best in SF for pure seafood!!
Being from Chicago, a city that has excellent food, and also being well traveled, this food was not good. The table next to me said the same. Cute restaurant with great location, ambiance and tastey dessert but I would not go back. And my Arnold Palmer wasn't good either. How can u mess that up!
The waitress was awesome!! The food was so good, and the view was perfect
This was our 2nd visit and it won't be the last! Everything was great, especially the location and view!
Great food! Great view!!
Excellent food &servicr
I told the waitress that it was a birthday lunch but they never Aknowldge it
The food was good. Not the best we’ve ever had, but not disappointing. We shared the Bleu cheese garlic bread (wouldn’t order again) and the baked oysters (would absolutely order again!) to start. For dinner, we ordered the lazy Cioppino and the roasted garlic Dungeness crab. The Cioppino was wonderful but the crab was a sticky mess. The roasted garlic flavor was overwhelming and I regretted not ordering the plain crab instead. The view was beautiful and the service was great, despite how screamingly busy the place was.
My lobster tail was delicious. But disappointed with the seafood tower dish. It was served all very cold which distracted from the flavors of the seafood. We were all underwhelmed with it.
I had wondeful experience while dining here with my family. Staff were friendly & helpful. The food that we got were all delicious. The view of the wharf was pretty good.
