   All of the specialty rolls we tried were amazing. MF Bar will continue to be one of our go-to spots for good sushi!

   This restaurant is special and not to be missed if you’re at Avalon! The nigiri was fantastic - melt in your mouth fish with complex and delicious complementary flavors. I loved the black cod - cooked to perfection. Highly recommend!

   Good sushi. Not the best I’ve had even in the area. Service was slow. They staff the restaurant very light, and you feel it when they get busy. Nice location inside Avalon. But again better sushi to be had.

   Very expensive, tight quarters and noisy. Our server tree was very attentive and very good. The noise level is very high and there’s always someone bumping into you.

   The waitstaff was plentiful yet we felt neglected all night. I had to hail the waiter every time I ordered something. I understand the restaurant was crowded, but you have to make time for each customer. The vibe all night felt like I was bothering my waiter. Also quite perturbed to see my glass of wine sitting on the bar shelf for 15 minutes while I ate my food. I only order wine with food, so not to have my wine with the meal is pointless. Can't quite decide if the desultory and perfunctory service outweighed the tasty food.

   MF sushi has a great little spot in Avalon. The menu is curated nicely with something for everyone. They have a little bit of outdoor patio seating otherwise plenty of indoor seating in a nice bar.

    Food and service is top notch. Great cocktails and sake selection. Restaurant is very loud and echoes. It’s also rather dark and lighting needs improvement. They brought a small lamp to our table which was nice.
