Everything about Gabriels is good. The food, the service and the ambience. I have no complaints. Every time I visit in New York City I go to Gabriels at least ones for lunch and ones for dinner and we love it there. Thank you, Gabriel.

Location just on the edge of Central Park South next to the Ritz Carlton. We went for brunch. Food was amazing. Had a Caprese buffalo salad along with the colossal crab both were amazing. The veal chop was the largest I’ve ever seen it was cooked to perfection. Would recommend anyone auntie in the area stop by Gabriel’s

Lunch at Gabriel's is to find peace and beauty in the midst of one of New York City's great Crossroads. Central Park South is an idyllic site for lunch before theater or the movies, business people staying in the nearby hotels, and those with a curious palate eager to try some of the delicious offerings that are varied and tasty. Old friends of the former Gabriel's will welcome the same high standards of food and service to this new and really beautiful site.

The food and the room are fine. Unfortunately, the server’s assistant cleared the first course while our guest was literally still eating, and I still had food on my plate and was still eating. I asked her not to clear, and she ignored me and actually gave me a go to hell look. The room was barely half full on a Friday evening, so they can’t say it was because they were full. For this type of restaurant, you’d expect at least three star service. I blame the owner and manager for putting her on the floor or hiring her. I’ve never seen that much anger and lack of professionalism at even a two or three star restaurant. Gabriel, I met you at lunch a few months ago. I feel bad for you because of your investment. You will be out of business sooner than later.

It was my aunts birthday. She can no longer walk very far. We were pleased to find a lovely dinner destination so close to her building! The ambiance, food and friendliness of staff made this dinner very special! We will be back!

We were long-time patrons at the old location. We usually make one or two trips to NYC per year to go to the Opera, Ballet, Symphony, Carnegie and Jazz at Lincoln Center. I’m so pleased to say that everything is so wonderful at the new location and still convenient to each of nightly events. We stay at Central Park South so it couldn’t get any more convenient for us: We actually felt as if we got even more attention! Food is creative and delightful but the service is supreme. Gabriel’s will continue to be our favorite stop before our nightly show!

We went here for NYE and had the best time. Beautiful family run restaurant. Staff were amazing. The food is wonderful. The wine list is excellent. Even better we got to watch the fireworks on Central Park without standing in the rain. I’d definitely come back here.

NYE dinner was first class. The restaurant was nicely decorated, the pre fixe menu had plenty of choices, and the food as well as the service was excellent. Gabriel and the staff, including his son Theo made it a very memorable evening for my wife and me. Thank you.

Our waiter Dorian was rather rushed with a packed cafe. I ordered a cosmopolitan ask for Grey Goose he gave me Kettke One. That evening they had a preset menu-No soup and no salad- Octopus or squid was distasteful I ordered the braised ribs and asked specifically about the mushrooms he said it was in a sauce that he can put it on the side I also asked if there’s mushrooms with the meat he said no-I specifically asked the mushrooms be left off the plate but when the entrée came there was a mound of mushrooms much larger than meat - I felt the whole time the waiter did not take the time to listen to my request very offputting and left with an upset stomach

My family and I hadn't been together in a while and Gabriel's was the place to be for a reunion. We had wonderful food and ambience as well as a well trained staff. Gabriel himself added a touch with his presence. We will look forward to returning very soon.
