I take my mom & godmother there for Mother's Day brunch every year for the past four plus years now and we love it there. Ambience, service & food/drinks are top notch. Though I have not yet, I look forward to trying their dinner menu...if anything like brunch, I can't imagine not loving it.

For most restaurants, Mother's Day brunch is a general sh*tshow, but not here. They managed their reservations well, and the food was great too (as was the bottomless mimosas and bloody marys). The young woman playing the piano provided perfect background music, and my mother had a great brunch.

The staff was so nice and friendly, especially to our 3-year old son. They brought out a balloon for him and he had a fantastic time, which means we had an even better time.

George’s food and ambience are good & its been a treat to dine there in the past. Last night the low ceilinged, hard surfaced dining room had live jazz. The music was fine but too harsh and loud for the room & for dining. If you came for music & sat at the bar it might have been a good experience. If you wished to talk: good luck. How loud was the music? My ears still hurt.

My husband, daughter and myself ate at George’s on Thursday evening. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant!!! The ambiance was so warm and comfortable while the music was so relaxing!! The blue point oysters were so very fresh as well as the salmon!! The martini was delicious and to top off the meal the the ice cream sundae was was as retro and delicious as the good ole days!!! The service was outstanding!! Making sure our every want was met!! We absolutely can’t wait to go back!!!!!

Stellar experience! Every aspect of this place is amazing! My boyfriend and I enjoyed ourselves immensely on Valentine’s Day. Had a delicious 3-course meal, with perfect lamb special entree. We have since told all our friends about it and will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our dinner here after a Murphy Brown taping. Owner (manager) was friendly and so kind. Music was great. Food was reasonable and good. Fun atmosphere!

Went for Sun Jazz Brunch. The singer was very talented, but played slow (borderline depressing) singer/songwriter covers and maybe originals? Regardless, it was not the standards I expected, which also would have played to the vintage theme of the room better. The food was decent and plated nicely. For $35 including bottomless bloodies and mimosas I can’t really complain. They weren’t busy, but it did take a while to get a 2nd cup of coffee. TLDR: If you’re in the area and you want a reasonable priced boozy brunch where you can get a big table without a wait George’s is perfect

Went for Sunday jazz brunch and not a soul was there at 12:30pm. I figured we were early. Nope, we were literally the only people there until 2pm! And by then only 4 more people arrived. We had a solo singer with piano as entertainment and her voice was lovely, but she didn’t play any jazz? She played her renditions of pop songs (which were great) but if you’re looking for live jazz music-none to be found. Food was good (had the fried chicken n waffles) and service was great. Nice that mimosas and bloodys were unlimited. The restaurant is beautiful, but it would be a much better experience with more patrons!

We went here for our first anniversary dinner. We loved the live jazz! It made for a unique and special atmosphere for our evening. The food was good, but perhaps a little dry. We plan to go back for more evenings of wine and jazz.
