A picturesque lakefront restaurant and inn located at Lake Tahoe's West Shore, the West Shore Cafe offers guests delicious cuisine and superb service amidst some of the world's most beautiful surroundings.

Reservations are required. A credit card is also required to secure all reservations with a 48-hour cancellation policy. Any reservation canceled within 48 hours of the reservation time will be charged $25/person. This includes decreases to party size and no-shows.

They were short staffed yet our servers were amazing. The food was great (unusual Burrata (but very good), a very good Elk loin, and very good short rib). Views of the lake and mountains were the reason we came but everything else was a great bonus. We will definitely come back next time we are in town again.

We got married at West Shore on 10.08.21 and it was a wonderful experience then. When we saw that they were open for dinner on that day, we knew we had to go back and celebrate our one year anniversary there. The food is simply outstanding, they treated us so well and were so kind. The views of the lake could not be better. Highly recommend!

Cold Elk Loin and cold sweet potatoes was very disappointing. My wife liked her Short Ribs. You go here for the view and NOT the food. I’d suggest going to Swiss Lakewood about a block away.

Food was very mediocre. Calamari was good, I had the Halibut and it was dry and tasteless. My husband had the short ribs and thought they were good. Overall, very pricey for not so good food. We’ve had much better meals at other restaurants for less money.
