    We certainly enjoyed the Sunday brunch. Coming off a highly successful convention at the Walter E Washington Convention Center, we were really looking forward to great food and ambiance to close out our time in downtown DC. Lincoln did not disappoint. The omelet and waffle bar was just what the doctor ordered! I am looking forward to future visits.

    Had a great experience here for my birthday brunch! The food was delicious and the servers did a great job managing a 10 person table and getting all our orders out quickly and correctly. Highly recommend!!

    I and another guest were in town for a convention. We decided to go to Lincoln because the menu was appealing and since it was far from the convention activity , we figured we would have plenty of time. We were seated immediately, but from there, the wait time was unacceptable. From providing us water, to giving us the appetizers late and waiting for the check, it was not great service. Our food came out before the appetizer and every time we inquired, the waitress responded with "it's on its way". 20-30 minutes later after we received the food, we got it and it wasn't hot. My guest's food wasn't cooked correctly and it took about 30 minutes for her to go get her order. What was frustrating was the promise that everything was on the way. We asked to speak to the manager and THAT took about 10 minutes for her to come (we had to ask twice). She comped my friend's food and offered us some dessert that wasn't really good. When I finally asked for my check, I saw the waitress in the next room helping another waitress clean up the tables. Mind you, the restaurant wasn't busy, so that was not a priority. I had to wait 10-15 minutes to get my check. I finally walked to where they run the checks and told her I needed to go. One waiter looked at me apologetically. If there was no sense of urgency or just respect for people's time when it wasn't busy, I can't imagine what it would be like if they were slammed. I cannot recommend this restaurant based on our experience with the service.

    Very noisy environment. Prices are high for the quantity of what you get. Food tasted good. Recommend skipping coffee and dessert; this is not their strong point. Servants were very attentive.

    Father’s Day brunch no longer includes the buffet anymore, only unlimited waffle and omelet station for 31$ and anything else is extra. There was no mention of this change on the website. It was a bait and switch and since it was Father’s Day, all other options were probably booked… so we stayed. My party of 6 was originally sat in the back and when I asked to move to the many available 6+ seats in the main room, evidently my husband heard the staff complaining about my request as he was passing the front desk since he arrived later than me due to him parking the car. My husband had to send his eggs back 3 times for them to attempt at over medium temp. The manager approached us about the problem but only offered to get us something else. My husband resigned and ate his over medium-well eggs.That was our last time attending Lincoln for brunch. The egg debacle ruined his Father’s Day experience.

    10 out of 10 highly recommend The Lincoln. Currently one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had in a long time. Took my bf out for Father’s Day Brunch and it was phenomenal!! The omelette and waffle station served food cooked to order and the bottomless mimosa option was well worth it! The staff was courteous and very kind and the decor was interesting. We will most definitely be returning!!
