    Went for my father’s 80th birthday, and they were spectacular. they let me drop off a cake before the restaurant opened, they accommodated for a four-year-old nephew happily, everyone - EVERYONE - who works there is wonderful, the food was great, the drinks were great, the other diners were polite and refined, it’s unpretentious but elegant in that way truly good restaurants... Really, one of my fav restaurants in nyc, and I’ve lived here my whole life. 305808 stars out of 10

    We love coming to this little neighborhood gem. It’s always a great experience. The featured wine was spot on with our meal. We loved the mussels appetizer-very tasty with just the right amount of kick in the light tomato broth. We then split two entrees, the scallop special and the beef pappardelle. The scallops were seared perfectly and nestled on a bed of parsnip purée, that was sprinkled with pomegranate seeds-delicious. The pappardelle bolognese was wonderful as usual. One of the best pappardelle bolognese we’ve ever had and a definite favorite on the menu. We finished off our meal with the bread pudding. Our second bread pudding was cooked perfectly and was delicious as usual. The first pudding that was delivered to the table had been burned. we sent it back. This did not take away from our overall wonderful experience. We make an effort to come to this restaurant anytime we are in NYC.

    The management was most gracious and helpful with my wife who is in a wheelchair. They allowed us into the restaurant even before they officially opened and seated us! Service was most attentive.

    I love this restaurant! Hadn’t been in awhile as moved to a different neighborhood but went last week and already back again! It’s a jewel in Carnegie Hill!

    This used to be a great restaurant but the food has declined so much that we sent items back. The service was polite but took forever and the noise was VERY loud.

    This place is really great. The mussels appetizer, with garlic, onions and pancetta (sorry pescatarians) was the best ever mussels prep. Pork chop was also delicious. Don't like the credit card "surcharge". Kinda sneaky. Seriously, who DOESN'T pay by credit card. Build it into the price and offer a discount for cash of you like. The place is not cheap, by the way.

    Great food. Expensive wine list. Good service but wiping down the table between every course became intrusive. Tabletop was chipped and needs replacement or a tablecloth. Inclusion of “non cash adjustment” on bill (without explanation) was deceptive; debit cards can avoid that charge.

    The food never disappoints at that this UES gem! The branzino, the roasted chicken in juice and, of course, their amazing pastas. It's worth the Uber or subway ride! The small dining rooms make you feel as though you're in a smaller restaurant than you are which leads to an intimate feeling among the diners. Can't get enough of this place!

    Sfoglia is a superb dining experience that transports you out of the city to a farmhouse setting that is nevertheless elegant and hip. Food is superb and we also felt an excellent value in the city.

    We had a lovely time on our first visit here. Our waiter, Dan, as well as the rest of the staff, were very friendly and attentive. The ingredients were as fresh as could be, and the atmosphere was extremely cozy and inviting. We’ll be back!

    A local neighborhood place that is top notch! The freshest ingredients combined with a creative chef make for an outstandingly delicious meal every time. We love their burrata, caesar salad, chicken, wine--everything! Highly recommend!
