   The jambalaya was overcooked and dry. My prime rib which was supposed to be rare was chewy. I asked for a baked potato not knowing it wasn't on the menu, but instead of the waitress letting me know she just threw in french fries. I also ordered the truffle aoli fries and they didn't even show up until the end of the meal. When I made the reservation I put Birthday is a special occasion as it was my wife's birthday. No response to that whatsoever. My wife was looking forward to eating here for a month. I don't like to see her disappointed or sad on her birthday over a restaurant.

   We had high hopes. Four main menu items were out on the Wednesday night we had a reservation. We were seated 20 minutes after our reservation time. Food was fair, drinks did not inspire.

   The service was good, but the rest of the experience was pretty disappointing. The website shows a lot of pictures of the private dining room, which was the ambiance I was expecting, but instead we were seated in more of a sports bar. The food was fine, about what I would expect from a Chili's or Applebees, but the price point is closer to a fine dining experience. Side dishes are tiny and underwhelming. Three brussels sprouts (6 half pieces) and a half cup of chopped butternut squash in an overly sweet sauce is not what I expected. With so many other great restaurant options in the area, I do not see any reason to return.

   The food was good but service was a bit chaotic and non-alcoholic drink selection pretty limited. We were there for conference and restaurant wasn't willing to split/itemize our bill for expense reporting, which is super frustrating as a business traveler (five of us, not a big table). Was good but wouldn't be back unless it was perosnal travel.

   Food was good but not amazing. My homemade pasta is better. The pretzel bites are always our favorite thing there. I was SHOCKED when the bill came and my Cosmo cost $18 because they charged $4 extra for the vodka! Usually if you say what vodka you want then restaurants may charge extra. But the waiter didn’t ask me if I had a preference on vodka.,,won’t be drinking there! There was a time (pre pandemic) when the food at Arrogant Butcher was always AMAZING. This was our second visit this year and we were disappointed both times. Our waiter was wonderful!!!

    Everything was very good. The bartender made very good drinks. We had the butchers plate for an appetizer and it was delicious. I finished off with the New York steak, and it was a good quality cut of meat and cooked perfectly.

    Staff were very welcoming and efficient. There were 4 of us for dinner. The salmon was very good but the Prime Rib was so cold it needed to be returned and was very salty so did not eat it. Ribs were average. This is more of a burger bar and “go to place if downtown.” We were looking for a higher end dining experience so our fault for not knowing the area. We would return for drinks and snacks but not dining.

    Extremely delicious food at amazing prices!!! Pretzel bite appetizer is addictive and the roasted half chicken was the most moist and flavorful I've tasted. Our server Jason was great as he was attentive, personable and gave great recommendations. Will definitely return as we were too full for dessert and they looked delicious.     Had a reservation for 5:30. On Mother’s Day. Was promptly seated and greeted by our server. Drinks were delivered quickly as was our Spinach and Artichoke dip appetizer. Dip was one of the best we had. We also ordered the deviled eggs which were puny, only 3 and tasted just OK. For entrees the wife had filet mignon medium-well and mashed potatoes. Filet was slightly undercooked but acceptable and taste was good. I had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and green beans. Everything was spot on. We passed on deserts. Ambiance was a bit noisy but would definitely go back again.

    I ordered prime rib, l was disappointed that the cut was so thin and so fatty. It was okay but didn’t meet my standards. My son ordered the special steak and eggs and said it was very good. The service was outstanding. This was our first visit. Next time l would order something different.

    Service was a bit slow. My Meatloaf was good a friend had the Prime Rib French Dip and said the meat had no flavor but liked the fries. Overall a average dinning experience.

    Service was great starting at the bar and then when we were seated. The food was ok, we’ve eaten here before and no issues so maybe an off night? The chicken was dry and the sauce that came with it was super salty. The cauliflower mashed had no flavor unfortunately. The nachos were good but I feel like you can’t really mess up nachos.

    We had reservations, waited 10 minutes after reservation time before we got seated. I ordered the turkey pastrami which was good but my fries were cold. The sandwich has also gotten smaller.

    Always a great spot to go to for any occasion. We go here as much as possible before baseball games and I have made it a regular stop for work meetings as well. Always have been taken care of here.

    I had reserved a table for 7pm. I arrived on time and was greeted and seated immediately. I had asked for a booth seat via OpenTable app chat to the restaurant earlier in the day and was pleased that I was given a booth. Service was great, food was delicious and everyone from the hostess to our waiter was phenomenal. I will definitely be back!

    The food was cold. Awfully disappointed by that. Both prime ribs and sides . . .cold, below room temperature, not joking. They came out so fast too, that I believe they were just sitting there waiting for someone to order them. Can't believe I even took the time to make reservations. Very disappointed.

    A very popular place in downtown Phoenix. Seems to attract all ages. Staff is on the ball and almost runs to provide fast service. Prices are reasonable. Food is good with something for every appetite from salads, sandwiches to hearty steaks. Noise level would not make this the best place for a first date or a quiet meal if that were desired.

    Our food arrived cold and the prime rib we ordered was overcooked. Our size did not arrive with our meal They were about 10 minutes behind it and scorching hot as if it had been rewarmed. Our waiter had zero customer service skills. It seemed as though he completely avoided her table, even when we were attempting to make contact with him for assistance. Even tables that had arrive after us were receiving service and their meals before us the manager did not provide us any type of compensation. He still made us home for our appetizers, and three only allowing the meals that we did not eat to be taken off our tab. The restaurant was extremely busy. However, that is no excuse for lack of customer service, and equal treatment to our customers. I am very disappointed.

    GREAT service. Hostess was overwhelmed so slightly short . Food and drinks very good. Business mate wanted NA drink & bartender made her a delicious beverage. Had the filet mignonette - perfectly made medium rare as asked. Manager stepped in to ask re: dessert and we could not decide so ge brought us both on the house! Didn’t ask or expect but very kind gesture. Overall, highly recommend!

    We have been to the Arrogant Butcher a number of times and has typically been good. Last night was not up to our expectations. Food was cold and just lacked the quality expected. The manager did comp the chicken and pretzels and that was nice. We will be back because this was an anomaly.

    I wanted to show my wife a Cubano for the first time. Instead she got a squished sandwich with very little meat, lousy pork and ham, and very poor sauce. The pickle was okay. Service was good and they turned down the ear-splitting music when we asked.

    We’ve been here multiple times and normally it is great. This time- no server for 30 minutes. Overcooked and undercooked food. Drinks took an additional 30 minutes after waiting for the initial 30 for our waitress to show up. Disappointing evening.

    I've been to the Arrogant Butcher quite a few times, and I have to admit it is consistent every. Single. Time. Food is amazing, staff is remarkable, and I don't have to shout over obnoxious music to hear a person 18 inches away from me. I recommend their salads and the fish and chips, if only because their Tatar sauce is beyond remarkable, and their house hot sauce is delightfully tantalizing and a brilliant counterpart to pretty much everything they have, including their delicious "chips". Eat there. You won't regret it.
