   Mother’s Day brunch was poorly executed. A very low frills, low quality, experience. No music. No ambience. No excitement. We expected much more. Hopefully they step it up next year if they plan to host Mother’s Day brunch again!

   Food choices were minimal for a Mother's Day Brunch, especially considering the cost. We were seated in the back even though there were seats near the large front window with a view. Some of the food served was not warm. As a matter of fact, the trays were not warming trays. However, overall the food was not bad. The fresh fruit was very good.

   Marketing photos of menu and facilities are wildly different than what we walked into. $50 per adult, $25 per kid for something that was on par with a budget hotel free breakfast. Staff were nice and friendly, but food was dry, overcooked, flavorless…when it was actually available since the buffet was near empty most of the time. I hate to do this but I haven’t felt this taken advantage of in a while. Not the experience a mother deserves for her day.

   The set up was basically buffet tables set up in a conference room. It was hot and stuffy in the dining area to the point of being uncomfortable. The food presentation quality and quantity was terrible. Multiple food warmers were completely empty, the eggs looked green and dry, one container had 3 pieces of burnt bacon swimming in a pool of grease. The selection was minimal. My wife and I left without eating. We walked half a block to Capital Grille and had an amazing brunch for less that we had to pay up front at The Asbury. Extremely disappointed.

   Did the mother's Day buffet brunch and they put everyone in a random room with no music. The food was fine but overall it was not worth the money at all. Do not recommend

   I feel deceived. Looking for someplace new I booked the Mother's Day Brunch reservation for 2. At $40 per person plus 20% service charge, it was marketed as something special. Do not be deceived by their normal menu. The Mother's Day brunch was basically a bad continental breakfast. The service was fine but the quality food was 1 out of 5 stars. The waffles were hard and dense. The hot honey chicken was overfried hard chicken tenders with some Sriracha sauce on the side. The prime station didn't have au jus initially. In 16 years of Mother's Day breakfast/brunches sadly this was the worst Mother's Day Brunch to date. I was embarrassed and had to apologize to my wife as this was a swing and a huge miss. Any standard breakfast location where you can get a fresh omelet would have been better.

   Cute space. Loved the banana bread and beignets!! Omelet was good too though not super hearty.

   Very good experience lil noise but overall lovely experience will be back when I returned to Charlotte. Chong was very attentive to us. ❤️

    The room was small with no soundproofing and dominated by a large group who talked at the top of their voice. It was literally impossible to have any kind of conversation at our table. One couple actually got up and left. My food was average but well presented. Our server also had a loud jarring voice but perishes a way to deal with the high noise level in the room. I will not be back.
