   By far my favorite meal on Nantucket and I wish I found this restaurant sooner! A beautiful atmosphere with an interesting, but not over intimidating menu. The staff was extremely friendly and professional and even brought out a few gluten free appetizers for one member of our party when they realized she was left out. I don’t have one bad thing to say about this restaurant and we returned the following day just for drinks. A must do if you’re on Nantucket and an amazing experience overall.

   Have been to this restaurant every year since I can remember. As far back as Second Story. Always a very good and interesting meal. And prices, while expensive, are in line with other top restaurants on the island. However, it's insulting to be charged $4 for a few pieces of bread/roll. Really? Think I'm done there.

   The food is prepared as well as anywhere, with wonderful layering of tastes and textures in each dish. Unfortunately our visit was made very unpleasant by a group of 8 loud, obnoxious, boorish, middle age supposed adults from off island that spent the evening being loudly "funny" in their mean comments to each other. The size of the room and their volume made it impossible to ignore. We should have asked to be moved, and next time we will.

   The best food on Nantucket, period. The food arrives hot and the perfect degree of done. The main ingredient of each dish is accompanied by several others which are all wonderful in their own right, but more importantly add layers of flavor and complexity to create a whole which is much more than the sum of its parts. We enjoyed our meal first bite to last!

   Oran Mor has been consistently outstanding over the years. It is so nice to go back to a restaurant and have it live up to your fond memories. Still the best on the Island, by far!

   We have been coming to Nantucket for 30 years and, I'm embarrassed to say, somehow missed this gem! It was wonderful and we highly recommend it! It's now one of our favorites!

   We were seated at a table with a view of the harbor. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. The meal was delicious from start to finish. Everything on the plate was bursting with flavor. Highest recommendations for the grilled beef and the roasted duck. It's easy to see why this is one of the top rated restaurants on Nantucket.

   Our dinner was absolutely delicious. We started with the calamari app, I had the fluke, and my husband had the special -- it was a seafood pasta. My biggest con was our waiter. She came off like she didn't care and just wanted us to hurry up and get out.

    We hadn't been to Oran Mor in several years and forgotten how much we like it. I love the antique feeling of the dining rooms and how one room leads into another, allowing for a feeling of warmth and intimacy. Our server Pam was attentive and friendly. The food was wonderful and expertly prepared from start to finish. The menu is good combination of traditional while still being innovative. We will not wait so long to come again!
