Anouther fantastic foodie experience in a great venue with excellant service from Jazmin.
As always. It good food. I like the curries, and how the chief changes them as the seasons change.
Food was delicious, quick service. Will go back for more!
The service my girlfriend and I received was terrible. After we were sat it took about 20 minutes for our server to greet us, then took another 20 minutes for us to get our drinks ( my tea was not hot and unsteaped). Once we got our food was the only good part of the experience.
Love love love the pad Thai. The siracha noodles are good also. Nice atmosphere in a century home.
Charming site - old restored home, Thai garden. Just a few lunch patrons and we got a small room to ourselves. Food was freshly prepared and very high quality. Tasty - just the right spice level. Kind server - she made us feel at home.
Second time having lunch and I'll definitely return.
I wouldn't expect a Thai restaurant to have a nightly special that was $30. There are lots of choices for good Thai in Cincy, and I feel like Banana Leaf might be outpricing themselves.
Third visit but this time a little disappointing. Appeared to be understaffed. The wait to be seated - on a weekday, with a confirmed reservation and a half empty restaurant- was longer than expected and an even longer wait for the server to show up and bring water and take order for drinks an appetizer.
One of the vegetarian dishes, the pad Thai, was sweet. The prices in general were higher than would be expected for such out of the way location. To top it off there was the automatic billed gratuity of 22% for groups as small as five.
Usually this is a great restaurant, good food and service. Not this time. I had specifically requested a table upstairs for my group of 6 work colleagues, and the hostess attempted to seat us downstairs. I ordered a bottle of wine, a Cabernet, and the waitress brought and opened a Pinot Noir. When our entrees arrived they were no better than lukewarm. Hugely disappointing.
Excellent food. Service was good, but slow. May have been unexpected busy or shorthanded, but for these prices, should be better.
This place is amazing as always, great food with amazing ambiance
This place did not disappoint. I had the tangy cashew chicken and fro dessert the macaroons. So yummy! Will be back
Had a great dinner. As always service was fantastic. The staff was very courteous & friendly. Food was excellent. Tried the chef specials which were delicious. Highly recommended.
This is a fantastic place the food is great and the Boise is nice each meal is individually prepared and amazing
Incredible Thai food. Everything that we had was perfect. Deserves five stars. This is worth the drive to mason. Will definitely be back soon.
This is a lovely neighborhood restaurant. The dishes are creative, beautiful and quite delicious! We have family members who are vegetarians and they love this restaurant.
The food is outstanding. Both my husband and I couldn't stop talking about how much we enjoyed our meals. The service however, is not great. Our waitress explained everything beautifully and was friendly. But, didn't take out drink order until we ordered. We had to ask for a refill while eating and was met with a scoff and another 10 minute wait for our refills. I had the sweet tea, which is so good but at $3.75 I would have thought that I should have gotten more than one refill that we had to ask for. We agreed we would come back for to-go but wouldn't return for a sit down meal. The many reviews stating the service is slow, is accurate. Unfortunate.
One of our favorites!
The food here is DELICIOUS! The Massaman Curry is my favorite by far. My only complaint is that the service was very slow (lunch).
Good food, good service- I will come back soon.
Waitress was terrific
Only issue was loud people sitting next to us.
Fantastic food with a creative flare. The pad Thai with egg netting is almost too beautiful to eat! A bit pricey but worth the money for a business dinner or date night. Their mixed drinks were also tasty but they were overpriced. They had a nice wine selection.
Very delicious seasonal specialties.
Very attentive wait staff. A wonderful meal.
The Butternut Squash Fried Rice was so fresh. Chef's wine pairing with a Rose' was excellent. Sat on the patio - very tranquil despite the traffic going by.
Food is fantastic! Several dishes are new every month.
The building is historic, and haunted!
Staff are very friendly and knowledgable and attentive.
I have been searching for amazing pad Thai since Teak closed in Mt. Adams. I finally found a place who can compete ... yeah!!!! Quaint authentic ambiance ... great food!!! Awesome place for a date or a nice evening out with family or friends.
We love this restaurant! The specials are so unique, the flavors amazing!! The food never disappoints! And we love getting Dana as our server-she is knowledgeable and personable!
The food here is wonderful, but the service was seriously lacking. It got a little better as the evening wore on, but it started out horrible. It took about 30 minutes to get water and we had to ask 3 times. In the end the food (and the company) made it worth the wait, but they could be so much better if they addressed this issue. It was a Saturday night, the place was crowded, maybe they didn't have enough staff. Our server seemed pretty busy.
Great food, great people and great service ! Wine paired to food - excellent choices.
First time at restaurant Had lunch with my friend of 58 years. Great food , atmosphere and service. Will definitely return. Thanks
Loved this place! Casual fine dining at its best. Beautiful and hip with outstanding curry!
We came for date night. We ordered veggie spring rolls and tom yum soup to share. The soup only had 4 pieces of shrimp. My husband ordered the great prik dish with pork. The portion size was very small and my husband commented that was very little pork. I ordered the Pad Thai Goong based on waiter’s reco. The portion size was good but again it only had 4 pieces of shrimp. For $26 I would except more shrimp. There was also a live baby spider crawling on my plate. I should it to the waiter (Max) and he asked if I’d like a new dish. Um, duh, yes I would. He brought out a new plate within abou 10 minutes. But never offered to comp my food for the inconvenience. My husband was kind enough to stop eating his dish so that we could finish our food together. Definitely do not recommend this place. Poor service and bugs!
The service & meal was excellent. The server & hostess did a great job explaining all the chef specials & any questions we had. The food was delicious & great presentation. Highly recommend.
Have eaten at this restaurant many times and the food has always been delicious. Unfortunately not so on Wednesday. I had the Tangy Cashew Chicken and the Chicken was so over cooked I could barely cut it much less chew it. I asked for spice level 3 and it wasn’t even a 1 on their scale. We ate outside and the table was so wobbly my son had to fold up a napkin under one of the legs. Will think twice before going again. The waiter was very attentive without being overboard. Deserved the tip he got. Wasn’t his fault the food was worse than I cook at home and that’s saying something. I’m a horrible cook!
A fresh, innovative menu and excellent service on their cozy patio made a perfect evening for outdoor dining.
Great as usual!
Food tasty - though not all authentic Thai ingredients.
Timing of service was an issue - main came only just as I was finishing entree. No time to digest. Whilst next table who has ordered before me, received their main with a delay - which would have been preferable.
Girl bringing food out also just ‘plonked’ it down on the table - could have been done with a bit more finesse.
We went on a weeknight. Food was good as usual. Service was very slow.
I loved the food, best Thai so far!
Restaurant is cute and I love it is on Open Table, but my first time there was disappointing. Service was slow and not very experienced. My meal was not very tasty. My friends curry looked good and she enjoyed. My Pad Thai just not very good. The floral ice tea was great.
The outside patio had bugs & mosquitoes.
When we went inside, the room was too hot.
