    My daughter lived in NYC for 2 years. Olio was a staple for her and her friends. When we came this week with our friends, first time visitors, we knew we had to take them to Olio. We were not disappointed. So glad to give them a fabulous NY Italian meal.

    Great pasta and atmosphere. Had to go 2 nights in a row because we were too full to order dessert the first night. Definitely my go-to Italian restaurant when visiting Manhattan.

    Food was excellent but would not do a 9:15 pm reservation again as we felt rushed in ordering and was given the dessert menu upfront when ordering our appetizers/main course as we were told the kitchen would be closing.

    We got the ragu and carbonara, which were both delicious. They were a little too salty for me. I loved the seating area. I sat outside which had lots of greenery, the inside is also cute and antique.

    TERRIBLE, on the booking I requested to have a table inside, once we arrived we was placed in a shed on the side of the road literally shoulder to shoulder with cars. Cars sounding there horn is not what you want to be sat next to on our holiday in NY, so Thankyou olio for ruining a good night. Would not return

    It was very good- bolognese and pizza - and charming but I wasn’t wowed. And my 19yo New Yorker thought it was an expensive pizza for what it was.

    We ate a fabulous dinner sitting in the garden room. The pasta is handmade with great sauces the arugula salad so wonderful. Then the desserts, just a fabulous experience and vibe. They topped all that with great service by people who were warm and engaging. Going back soon

    Not surewhy this place has a frustrating. The food was served luke-warm and was not tasty in the slightest. they have packed tables in every available not available space. Practically sitting each other's laps. The place is also dirty.

    Four of us enjoyed a winter night dining outdoors in NYC. Started our meal with the salad. Next came the 3 mouthwatering pastas... Spaghetti Chitarra Alla Carbonara pasta with egg was rich and hearty. Fusilli pasta with braised beef brisket and tomato course was flavorful, however, fusilli pasta was overcooked. Classic dish of Tagliatelle Verde al Ragu Bolognese was tasty and delicious. Aside from the pastas, we all highly recommended the Abbondante pizza, comes with mozzarella, pepper, sausage and basil. Crust was chewy and crunchy and pizza was full of ingredients and flavor. Waitstaff was attentive and efficient.

    Fig/mozarella salad small but good Carpaccio (forget which fish)--really good Fettucine tartufo-spendid, worth the extra $$$ Ravioli with limoncello-excellent Pizza--we didn't eat it right away, maybe waited 10 min before diving in. It was cold and soggy. Very disappointing. LIke it had been sitting out for 30 min before they served it or they forgot to finish it off in the oven.

    One of their popular dish, carbonara, is too salty so I barely eat. Bruschetta Ricotta is plain and nothing special. A chicken sandwich in lunch menu is good. All ingredients are fresh and servers are very kind.
