   The burger was dry. And the fish and chips only came with one piece. And small amount of fries. Waste of $60. Really disappointing. Wanted to like the place. Won’t be back

   Very charming old mansion. Wood burning fireplace was lit downstairs. Various themed rooms. We loved the dog room. Hostess very nice. Fish and chips, bread and Prosecco were very good. Did not like their Waldorf salad, and cheese straws were good but should have had more flavor. The worst part of our experience was our waitress, who was not very friendly, however efficient. I would return just for the atmosphere, and would try other dishes.

   Great location, friendly service and you can eat and go or take your time and visit/dine. Our waitress was very good about allowing us to visit and read the table and situation very well…good pace. Will definitely be back!

   AMAZING brunch! Went there on a Sunday at 10 am. We had the house made ricotta, the french toast and the English breakfast. All were just unbelievable. Cocktails were flawless. A must stop in Philly.

   Cocktails and the service were spot on and the ambience is wonderful. Wish they’d have more of a selection of British beers and ciders given the theming. The lemon risotto was not good; flavor profile was far too lemony and bitter. My wife’s fish and chips were great if overpriced. The Welsh rarebit was also fantastic.

   The manager was very friendly and accommodating. Our server was very mindful about my allergies and food restrictions. Food and drinks were great. Only complaints: —I’m an average sized woman and had a hard time squeezing in and out of my seat in the corner. I was curious how a larger person would manage it at all. —Server was very busy (short staffed maybe) —Bathroom was gross. Not at all what you’d expect from a restaurant of this caliber.

    The Dandelion was so amazing! Not only was the food a 10/10, the atmosphere was so quaint and the service was phenomenal. We had the best time for our first time there. Can’t wait to go back!

    The Dandelion, I learned from the host is situated in an old residence which then converted into a fish market many years ago. The interior has an old style charm with original wood railings and floors. I couldn’t help but wonder who lived in this place and imagine how life was living there back then. OH.. the food was good. The drinks sufficient. I mean I had the Dandy Burger and my wife the Sheppard’s pie. We said we will return.

    The restaurant was out of one of its most popular dishes and the staff were very rude and/or unhelpful. Our waiter in particular was exceedingly rude, slamming silverware on our table and making snide comments every time he spoke with us. On top of that, it was incredibly hard to get the attention of any of the staff who would not come to the table for 30 minutes at a time. Drink orders were also forgotten. We had an extremely poor experience especially given the fact that we made it clear to the restaurant that we were celebrating a birthday. We will not be attending the Dandelion ever again and will be recommending to our friends that they do the same.

    We had a mixed experience. The Royale was reasonably tasty but the omelet was underseasoned and bland. The service was severely lacking. The scones we ordered came out after everyone was finished with their meal. Coffee was refilled once for 2 of the 3 coffee drinkers after a long wait. Waiter said would return when they ran out before having refilled all coffee cups but did not return. Overall was very disappointing. Had been there once before several years ago but quality has declined.

    Delicious food. Good ambience for a date or casual business lunch. Food was delicious and Nobel without being overly experimental. Staff were all really kind and visited the table just enough without being overly doting.

    We had a terrible experience. My girlfriends went for dinner. The waitress was not at all attentive. Took drink order and took about an hour to come back for dinner orders. Took dinner orders and never came back. My one friend had the lemon risotto that was inedible. No one came to us to check on us at all. Finally a bus boy came to clear table and we asked for waitress to tell her about the food. She refused to take responsibility and blamed us for taking too long to order and did not acknowledge that she didn’t come back. She made no effort to fix any of her mistakes. She was very rude. We won’t go back there!!

    Hi - I have been to Dandelion several times over the past few years. It is a Philadelphia gem - good food and great atmosphere. Done in an old style British pub vibe. Food is consistently good -- my guest had their signature fish and chips and was very happy. I tried the rabbit pie (for the first time) - was tasty but a bit heavy on the creamy sauce -- I would give it a "B" but it is, of course, subjective. Server was excellent, as were the drinks. I would recommend a visit to Dandelion, whether you are local or visiting Philly.

    Beautiful restaurant, every room seems to have its own theme. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the tea service was fun. We found the tea sandwiches to be a little stale, as though the bread was from the day before, so that dampened our experience a little, but other than that we were very pleased. Service was lovely, and we were welcomed warmly and thanked kindly on our way out. We’ll definitely return to try more things. Thank you!

    I love the Dandelion's setting in an old house. The service was friendly and efficient as usual. The salmon that came with the toasted bagel, capers, and cream cheese was delicious. My daughter and I each ordered a virgin Bloody Mary, which was also delicious. I would definitely go back again.

    We had a great dining experience with Nathan and the cutest seat of the house! The book up on the dining floor was perfect and everything we ate was delicious! Next time we’re back in Philly, we need to go!

    I eat at dandelion frequently and love the fish and chips but I was unpleasantly surprised at the small size of the fish this time - in fact, my dinner companion had the fish and chips as well, but had a significantly larger portion. How can dandelion make this right and maintain a faithful customer? Thank you!

    This unique eatery was the perfect place to celebrate two birthdays! Definitely not cookie cutter, each floor had areas where a group of diners could hear each other easily, yet still be part of the room. The food was delicious, and the servings plentiful. Our waitstaff was helpful and attentive, made great recommendations, and made sure we were well cared for throughout our evening. We will definitely go back!!!
