Little Anthony's Italian Ristorante
Claim a sunny table next to the restaurant’s grand windows and enjoy a quick lunch; meet friends for a specialty cocktail or Italian beer and a snack or two at the comfortable, convivial bar; host clients in the eleven-seat boardroom or an event in the spacious private dining room; or settle into the banquets and enjoy a leisurely dinner with a bottle of wine from the reasonably priced, wide-ranging list.
Little Anthony's attentive staff and Italian cuisine are ready for you.
I would highly recommend Little A's for a great romantic meal or a venue to conduct a business meeting, in a quiet corner of the restaurant.
The food is superb and the service is excellent.
Both, the Sea Bass and the NY Striploin are excellent 'Mains' that come with a wide variety of Pasta
and Veggie accompaniments.
The interaction with the kitchen is awesome, especially when the Chef walks over with your 'Mains'
and follows up to make sure that the meal was prepared to your liking (Old School, but a nice touch).
NOTE: This level of service fell by the wayside, when the 'Chains' took over.
Lovely service with great food.
Gem of a spot! We were very impressed and will certainly be back again soon!
Nice Italian food in an ambient setting. Enjoy your meal with quiet discussions or watch the world go by through their large windows
You could serve Sangria in order to accomodate more customers.
Solid restaurant. Reasonable priced with good wine list.
the service was very slow. i had to ask twice for my first glass of wine and never got the second one so i gave up. we waited a long time for the bill so i asked the manager to help us pay. i mentioned to him that our waiter was not around much. instead of apologizing or seeming sorry in any way, he said 'we have had staff problems'. sorry pal that is your problem not mine - the right answer is "i am really sorry. i promise that if you come back next time we will not disappoint you. when you do have a free (drink/dessert/appetizer) on me. don't need the free stuff but would want him to seem more apologetic and less annoyed by my comment.
Too much Parmesan comes out on the pasta and it’s just way overly salty
Wonderful food and great value.
A great Summerlicious participant.
After travelling all day we had a late dinner in Little Anthonys. We found the restaurant welcoming the staff friendly and efficient and the food tasty and well prepared and presented. Overall a really good dining experience
Birthday dinner/staff was attentive
Good food. Kitchen and service a little slow
We found an overall good rating for LA’s online and decided to give it a try with our 2 adolescent sons. The food was not bad, but it was far too expensive for the portions and quality that we got. The menu choices are not really appealing to average teenage boys.
Best food we had for a while.
Our server was excellent too, but he left early and we were not happy with the manners of the female substitute at all.
Nonetheless, we will definitely return.
Hard to get better Italian food in town.
I took family visiting from DC. They were impressed and I was pleased. Thank you.
The staff was amazing and exceeded my expectations. Thank you for an awesome time
Absolutely perfect for a pre-theatre dinner. The staff is understanding and the service excellent. Nothing terribly fancy on the pre-theatre menu -- but the food is well-prepared and the prices very reasonable.
Excellent service from start to finish and the meal was as delicious as always.
We had better experience here in the past sadly.... wine service was almost none existing. Food was ok. We are really sorry that Volos had to move our reservation here once again! The food and service there are so much better.... will try to avoid coming back here in the future.
Always enjoy our meals at Little Anthony’s .
We celebrated our daughters marriage there
in March and we were lucky enough to get
a private area for 10 people , it was perfect.
Always our go to when we meet our friends for
dinner from out of town!
Good food and nice evening with friends.
With pristine white linen tablecloths, excellent service and food, and an atmosphere conducive to conversation without the need to shout or cup ears, this was a delightful find.
Lovely restaurant - friendly, helpful and caring staff. Food was delicious and nicely presented. Overall, a a good menu from which to select. The prices are a bit up there but still reasonable given the locale. I felt we got our money's worth. No pressure at all to eat quickly - we lingered over our meal for close to 3 hours and staff waited for us to ask for the cheque. We were surprised however at how limited their cocktails list is. My friend ordered a certain vodka based cocktail (she can't drink other alcohols) and was informed they did not carry any of the vodka mixes she could drink. To the barman's credit, he did come up with an alternative that my friend could drink - he went the extra mile to try to give her at least something close enough and which was also tasty - he came to our table afterwards just to make sure she was happy with what he made for her. However, given that this was not an unusual cocktail, we were surprised that this restaurant didn't carry it. Our other 'complaint' was the noise level - they did seat us by the window where it was a bit quieter but we still found the noise level much too loud (a problem at most restaurants these days). Outside of these two things, it is a lovely restaurant that I would recommend - cozy and classy at the same time, welcoming staff, and certainly delicious food.
Lovely pre ballet dinner.
Food was delicious.
Quiet, efficient service.
Having dinner at little Anthony's was an amazing experience. The food was great and the ambiance was wonderful..It was a perfect evening
Very accommodating. We were delayed because of subway issues and had tickets to the ballet. They made sure we had our food quickly and made it to the performance on time. Thanks.
Great spot for italian food. Service was great and the food delicious. Sometime you can say it all in less than 50.
Expected menu items great but not outstanding waiter forgot special request! A bit mundane and predictable.
Wonderful staff, accommodating us at window seating, great service and great food!
The pasta dishes (spaghetti and chicken parmesan) were tasty and the portions reasonable (Do not expect to need to take anything home or to waste food). The bacon-wrapped dates, on the other hand, were rather small, dry, and scarce.
After taking our order, the waiter came back to ask what appetizer we had ordered and then had to be reminded that the appetizer had not been delivered when we were served our man courses.
We celebrated my daughter's birthday and were given a table at the back, where it was more quiet and we could celebrate her. The food was delicious the ambience was perfect and the service outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant. Kudos to Garth and his team for making our night perfectly memorable
Amazing food and service! Our water glasses were filled promptly and the plates were cleared from the table right away! Thanks for a nice evening!
Excellent service very good food
Food was amazing! Tiramisu one of best I’ve ever had!
Amazing food! Great service!
We were very disappointed with Little Anthony’s. My husband and I are well traveled and have a certain expectation and the reviews we read were not accurate. We were greeted by the manager (a man) he seemed a little flustered as the opera rush had just left. They cleaned a window table for us and we sat down. After a 5 mins we were greeted by our waitress for the first time and asked if we knew what we wanted to order?! Not what we would like to drink, had we dined there before nothing etc. Just do we know what we want to drink. We were really thrown off by her poor server skills. When we enquired about a good wine to accompany our meals she did the right thing and brought the manager over. He suggested Tin Roof (a very nice 100.00 plus dollar bottle). It was brought to us by another server, we tried it it was good. We didn’t see the manager/sommelier until we walked out. Didn’t ask if we liked it or anything that typically happens. So we ordered 2 Caesar salads, I ordered the Tagliatelle Ragu and my husband ordered the fish special. The salad was horrible and the only reason I ate it was because we were both hungry. It is a simple salad but the lettuce was brown, the dressing was unnoticeable and the croutons were from a box! Then my main came and it was linguine noodles not tagliatelle... I pointed this out to the waitress and all she said was “that’s strange”. By this point I wanted to leave however my husband wanted an ice wine and tiramisu.... our bill was well over $300.00 and was a real disappointment. The night prior we went to the Keg and had an amazing dinner and a wonderful server named Chris! Should have just gone there! Stay clear...
Great minestrone soup and spaghetti carbonara
Excellent food. Excellent service. Only odd thing was the weird choices of music. Odd 80s-90s mix of music. Didn’t really fit the atmosphere.
Amazing service !
It was very good food but the service was slow and unfriendly. It appeared they were understaffed for the night. It was a full house and a private party with what appeared to be 2 staff working the tables. Our waitress was grumpy and certainly did not make an effort to make us feel welcome. Food was delicious.
