I always enjoy the Chiara Restaurant. We had dinner with friends on a Saturday night and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Food was great. Ambience perfect. I will be back.

We live in Westwood so this is a local restaurant for us, as such we’ve been many times over the years. The experience is never short of excellence, food, service and personal recognition from the owners. We can go anywhere but this rivals anything outside of Boston.

The food, as always, was exceptional. Scallops, pork chop and crab/lobster cake were all enjoyed. Service was thoughtful and genuinely executed. This was his 2nd week in this position and we all thought he did a great job. This was our 3rd visit and plan to return when they introduce their fall menu.

My husband and I recently celebrated our anniversary at Chiara. The food was fabulous! Our servers was attentive but not disruptive. The amuse bouche (smoked tomato bisque), provided compliments of the chef was heaven in a spoon. It was delicious! We shared the calmari appetizer and a spinach frisee salad, both of which were tasty. My husband has the rib eye, which was perfectly cooked and accompanied by a char-roasted tomato butter and truffle mac and cheese. I had the center cut pork chop with braised greens and sharp cheddar grits. All were decadently delicious! The bar area was loud but we were seated (by request) in a back area that was very pleasant and allowed conversation. All in all, it was a great dining experience. This was our second time to Chiara and we look forward to returning again soon.

There is no doubt that Chiara's is our "go to" very nice, quality grill/restaurant that is cosy and not huge and we've frequented since it opened in Westwood probably 15 years ago. Quality staff, food variety is quite nice and prepared as requested each time. They offer a nice variety of wine and cocktails, meats, fish and I really enjoy the salmon, prepared the way I like it. It can get noisy and that's a sign of success, as far as I'm concerned, but a bit of an issue at times...I generally don't let that bother me; we enjoy Chiara's.

While usually reliably good food and service, on our most recent visit the food was mixed. Oysters and scallops were perfect. The calamari appetizer was over cooked to the point of being crunchy and dark brown in color. The Scottish salmon was over cooked and tasteless. Quality control seems to be missing in the kitchen. Service was up to their usual high standard.

My wife and I recently moved to the suburbs after 17 years of living in Boston. So far, in our opinion, Chiara is the only restaurant out here in the burbs that compares to a few of our regular places in the city. We have made Chiara the first restaurant we look to for availability when we are looking to go out.

Love Love Love having Chiara in Westwood. Outside seating made our meals perfect in every way. Service staff is attentive w/o being annoying. Wine selections are delightful. Chef is kind and will allow a patron to change side dishes for personal taste / diet. I cleaned my scallop loving, ratatoullie fixation, potato perfection plate..

First time back in about 6 years. Just forgot they were there. My fault. Food is as excellent as I remembered. My wife who visited for first time said we would definitely go back. Tried many places since, and life has changed allot since last visit, but glad to know great places can maintain excellence and not slowly degrade as is so often the case with even the best restaurants. I did visit during the heat wave and found the A/C was just a little too low. Otherwise they would have gotten tops all around. Would recommend them without any qualms.
