One member of the wait staff was very accommodating about taking a picture.
However our waitress seemed to disappear for long periods of time. The food was good, nothing outstanding but the view was awesome.
Wonderful experience! Wasn’t rushed and kids loved it - always a good thing! Looking forward to going back!
Great breakfast for my wife and two daughters and I.
Noisy but fun. Food was good but a little pricey. Overall we had a good time.
Great food if a tad spicy. Service a little slow, but waiters were friendly. Nice and cozy on a blustery day, and fun to watch the skaters skate around.
We were dining before the Christmas Spectacular at Radio City so the Rock Cafe is close. We had 6:15 reservations and were seated very close to that time even thought the place was hopping. Both of our dinners, salmon and small fillet were excellent. Don’t forget to ask for butter with your dinner roll. That must be an option. All in all good eat’s.
Our apps came quickly but out food took forever. I thought $50 did the price fix menu was a little overpriced, but the food was good!
Some of the food had no seasoning whatsoever & the salted caramel ice cream tasted like the caramel was burnt. All in all a good restaurant for tourists looking for the location and ambiance
Crowded. Glad I made reservation. I requested a window seat and they didn’t even have that request. But overall it was fun and watching the ice skaters was entertaining. My granddaughter lived the hit chocolate
Good food and friendly service. Great coffee!! Watch skaters on ice rink in Rockefeller Central. Large crowd on hand this day for arrival of Christmas tree and watching crew prepare & install tree.
Great service and food. Lovely views. Highly recommend to all who want a wounderful eating experience at the Rockfeller Plaza.
This place was fantastic!! We had dinner after the Christmas Show at Radio City Music Hall. Service and Food were terrific. Definitely going back. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Beautiful view of the ice! My daughter skated here for the first time, it was such a great experience. Looking forward to coming back during Christmas.
We were not going to be able to make our reservation; tried to change it by phone and couldn’t get through. We were seated & greeted upon arrival graciously. Food is always delicious, but the service a bit inattentive. We asked 3 times for butter. 4th time a charm. Go for the food and the ambiance.3
Loved our breakfast by the ice skating rink! For starters, Mimosas mixed to perfection were enjoyed. Eggs were fresh and fluffy. Bacon and sausage were sweet with delicious flavor. Fresh ingredients with bold flavors were on the menu. Service was impeccable.
Lovely breakfast overlooking the skating rink on the day that the Christmas tree was installed. The best coffee and hot chocolate I've ever had! Excellent service.
We eat at the Rock Center Cafe a lot. This was the first meal we have had that was very sub par!
Not up to the usual very high standard. Something has changed.
Great location! Great lunch menu
Every time when in NYC eating here is a must. I’ve eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner. All are an excellent value with a great atmosphere. Highly recommend.
Fantastic experience - impeccable service from the hostess to the waiters to the other servers. Excellent food. Extremely well managed restaurant in a prime location. We came back the following evening. Thank you very much.
I brought a friend who was visiting NYC here for lunch. It’s in the middle of a lot of places on the midtown tourist checklist and the thought of lunch next to the iconic Rockefeller ice rink and statue was promising.
The food is fine. Nothing was memorable but nothing was disappointing either. The price point was a little high but you’re really paying for the location and the pleasure of watching the action on the ice rink.
The service was disappointing. It was not busy when we were there but the entire staff in our section was enthralled by a large table of tourists with fancy pocketbooks. They received better bread, more attention and faster service, while we literally had to stand up to ask for our check.
Being treated as second-class guests colors everything else about the experience. I doubt I will be returning. I’m sure they will be just fine.
We went for our last night in NYC and to celebrate my little girl’s Birthday. It could not have been a more perfect way to wrap up our trip! Our server was perfect. The food was fab. The ambiance an NYC dream. It may be a tradition for our last supper in NYC to always be at Rock Center Cafe!
This place was amazing. My husband and I came on our weekend getaway for a romantic dinner and it didn't disappoint. Food was amazing, ambiance was amazing, and staff was attentive. Loved it and can't recommend enough.
So nice to sit and watch the skaters. Excellent choice of food and drink, professional and friendly service. Not my first time there, won't be my last!
I went for brunch and the options are few and pricey. Nice view of the skating ring but overall not worth it
Our small social group comes here regularly as it is a great place to have dinner and conversation. We typically select from the seasonally changing Prix Fixe menu, but I will also give them kudos for how wonderfully and creatively they accommodate our group members who have allergies. We'll be back again.
Service was very slow from taking order to delivery. My fish way over cooked
I had a steak and an eggplant timballo to share with my friend, and afterward a blueberry cake and cappuccino. All of the food cost around $88 including tax and the quality of food was very good. The ambiance was also pleasant with a view of the Rockefeller ice-skating link. Yet, the service I thought to be better because we had to try to get attention from our server. Sometimes I had to ask for twice because the server seems to have forgotten. Except for this, overall an uplifting place for a brunch/lunch.
Nice breakfast while watching the skaters at Rockefeller Plaza. Amazing service and a relaxing meal before a day of shopping.
Pretty good food, not great ; you're definitely paying for the privilege of sitting next to the Rockefeller skating rink. For 2 appetizers, 2 drinks, 1 entree, and 1 dessert, our pre-tip tab was $123. I said "noisy" in my ratings, because we were seated next to a very loud couple; if they were absent, I suspect the noise level would be moderate.
I love this place! So much fun to watch the ice skaters as you enjoy good food and time with friends.
Service was excellent and catered to specific needs / requests that we had. Already made reservations to come back !
I had planned to take my sister in-law to another place, but spontaneously checked open table and was able to get a reservation. The menu offered a perfect selection, especially for my sister in-law who is a little more limited with what she will eat. The food was excellent. We were going to a show and they had us in and out within an hour. It was so good, I already made a reservation for when friends come into town in December!
Waitstaff was very attentive...location was perfect at the concourse (lower) level of Rockefeller Center. Had a full view of the skating rink and the fountain with the statue of Promethias. (spell check?) Good hamburger and crispy fries...overall, a good place!!
Always friendly service, a little slow at times, so if in a rush, let them know. Nice views watching the skating rink, everyone having a good time. Food always enjoyable, good selection, prices average for the area. Consistent from visit to visit.
Went to the Rock Center Cafe with a group of 9 for an early lunch prior to Rockefeller Center touring / ice skating, and it was a great experience. The staff accommodated our large group, and the waiter was extremely attentive. Food was at our table quickly and was very tasty. We had a great experience, and I would definitely go back again during a future visit.
Great location, next to Rockefeller Center, and food, but a bit expensive. I will return for sure
If you want a good view of people ice skating then this is the place for you. Ok food and beverage options though not inexpensive.
My partner and I went for Sunday brunch. We had booked a table, but the restaurant was not busy. The service was very brisk and efficient, but polite and attentive. My partner ordered eggs benedict, which he said were delicious. I ordered the pancakes and, whilst they were very good, there was just too much and I couldn't eat it all. It was a very pleasant experience and there was no rush to move us on, which made for a leisurely and relaxing atmosphere. However, I would ask them to reconsider the brand of English breakfast tea they use because it was pretty awful!
Beet & cauliflower salad was delicious. Orrechiette portion was huge but not wonderful. My friend ordered the prix fixe and enjoyed all three courses. Overall, a pleasant place to have a meal.
The specialty menu was Supper family style. Generous portions and was absolutely scrumptious! We were able to sit by the window which always has a great view. Service great and handcrafted cocktails delicious! Desert-well it was phenomenal! Definitely a favorite spot for a Friday night, Birthday & Holiday. You can’t go wrong with this NYC gem!
