   We have a wonderful dinner here with a great view of the tree at Rockefeller Center. Our waiter was outstanding and our dinner was delicious. Could not have been better. I am sad to hear this restaurant is closing.

   Would love to recommend, but now, sadly, you're closed. My husband and I got engaged ar the restaurant 10 years ago and had our post-wedding lunch there. The server was nice enough to give me a menu for my Rockefeller Center collection. You will he missed.

   Great location in midtown facing the skating rink. Lots of energy in the room. Food selection was limited but adequate. You expect it to be pricey in this location so it was as expected. It was a nice festive place for dinner over the holidays.

    Excellent experience!! Our seats were right on the window, overlooking the skating rink. Food and service were really great! My wife and I enjoyed ourselves immensely!

    The food was not worth the price. Although I understand I’m also paying for location as well but the food in comparison to other restaurants close by did not stand up. I visit NYC a few times per year and wouldn’t return here.

    This used to be one of my favorite places to eat, so you can watch the people skating around Rockefeller Center. I’ve eaten there many times for breakfast, lunch and dinner. On this occasion it was breakfast. All their nice cushy chairs were replaced by banquet style wedding chairs - first thing I noticed. The menu that included amazing pastry’s, eggs Benedict and other more gourmet options was changed to eggs of different varieties. Nothing interesting and nothing particularly delicious either. Very disappointed in these cHanges. Someone told me the company that owns this restaurant and the Sea Grill across the ice is going under and closing both places. No idea if it is true.

    We were in the city and wanted to share one of the best holiday atmospheres with other family members that were visiting as well. The food was phenomenal. The view was so lovely. The service was a little out of the norm for RCC. I wish our waiter had been more excited about working and been more engaged with us. Either way, the family had a great time and we will most assuredly be back in the Spring.

    We had high expectations for New Year’s Day brunch and we were not disappointed. It was a great way to spend the first day of the new year. So sorry to see the place close and so glad that the service and food did not reflect that they are closing.

    My husband and son were not happy with the food grade. In addition, I eat plant based meals. It was said there wasn’t an option for me. As for the waiter, he wasn’t pleasant. Extremely cold and not welcoming or helpful. He looked upset the entire time of our visit.

    The service was very professional; the food was very good ( i had the vegetarian option); it was very nice to put the options; but a bit of the expansive side; we had a nice viewof the tree and the skating ring, so that was pretty cool! Nice ambiance; very nice soirée; thank you!

    Really disappointed with our trip to the rock Center cafe. We were expecting a lovely meal, set Christmas menu overlooking the skaters. We arrived and everything was great, lovely greeting staff. The meal went downhill from there. The service however was good. The food was really poor. The lobster bisque was the nicest thing we ate but the chefs burgers were tasteless!! My partner left his which is unheard of. The dessert was okay. Our bill was $144 after the meal and drinks which just wasn’t worth it.

    The appetizers, dessert, and waitress were excellent but didn’t really make the mediocrity of the entree, the overcommitted staff, and the price of the meal jive. It was nice, however, watching the people ice skate while we were there.

    Taking my son to Rockefeller Center at Christmas since he was 5 or 6, see the tree, visit the shops, and always dinner at the Cafe watching the ice skaters. Never disappointed. Perhaps its fitting that the Cafe is closing as he prepares to go off to college, thankful for the memories but I will miss those holiday nights.

    The love this place in every way. It was wonderful. You make wonderful memories there. And I have for years. It’s a STAPLE IN NYC. Nothing like beginning at THE ROCK. Could never imagine anything else ever to takes its place. It’s just such a happy place. I just love it. The food was perfect I got the pre fixe menu. Plenty of choices. Just staring at THE TREE A NYC LANDMARK JUST LIKE THE ROCK CAFE A LANDMARK.

    Our waiter Jose was everything! My mom verbally provided the co managers with kudos to them about him after our dinner - but I wanted to be sure to provide a written one as well. The food was - as always - excellent. We didn’t feel rushed and he was most attentive. We experienced a few non restaurant issues and he never once made us feel rushed or like an inconvenience.     I will miss this place fondly. My wife and I have come here to sit at the glass and enjoy a Christmas meal next to the tree and skaters for five years. Unfortunately the landlords have cancelled the lease of this and all the other restaurants in the basement space. The service good and ambiance will be sorely missed for years to come.

    Ambiance good for 1 time visit but way overpriced! Set menu limited. Can’t share plate even with okay to pay for plate. Service good. Food is okay but not worth price you pay. Our second time on our annual visit to NYC but will not return to cafe.

    I just came back from days with family in NJ celebrating Christmas and wanted to treat myself back in New York City for something special. Even though I went alone, I thoroughly enjoyed everything! I had a lovely to see table close to the window where I enjoyed watching the skaters. I do not feel rushed in any way, the food was delicious, the service was great it was a celebratory atmosphere throughout the restaurant. I was there for several hours .     Christmas time at NYC breakfast watching the skaters. Good service and food. So sorry this nyc landmark is closing . Hope there will be a future venue for New Yorkers and travelers to enjoy this special place in NYC — Rockefeller Center.
