This is the 2nd time I have been to this restaurant and both times, the service was very poor. When I was here on Saturday, I was seated for 20 minutes before our waiter had come over to even greet us and bring us water. And he hadn’t even taken our order then. The glasses were small and filled high with ice so there was hardly any water in the glass. I kept needing a refill throughout the meal and our waiter was nowhere to be found. The couple of times he came by to refill, he mentioned he was trying to find a carafe for our table but was unable to. The food was good but we were in the restaurant for an hour and a half just for lunch from the time we sat down to the time we got the check. The service was incredibly slow and it should not take that long for an easy lunch.

Came down to Stamford for the first time to visit family & saw it was also restaurant week. The menu was very appealing for Bedford Hall so we decided on here for dinner. It wasn't busy when we first got there but service took quite a while (being waited on, how long it took for apps to come out). When we eventually received our food, our server never checked in with us. Food was delicious & for it being restaurant week, they did NOT skimp out on portion size!

They were definitely short staffed. We got our pizza appetizer and shortly after, my burger came but they never brought out my husbands food. I finished my dinner and he still didn’t receive his food. I liked that they had gluten free options. Burger was good, liked all the toppings. I asked for medium and it came well done but still tasty.

Great spot, actually surprised us because it feels more like a bar. Food very good. Avoid the seats near the window as they are very uncomfortable and dirty, go for the high tops.

The entree with the pork meat was way too sweet for our taste, and the steak and mashed potatoes were a bit too bland. I highly recommend their hot buffalo fried cauliflowers. They were very tasty.

The servers were incredibly friendly however the service was poor. They didn’t appear to be busy, only 3 or 4 tables yet we had to track someone down when we needed to order drinks, food and the check. We were seated at our table for about 15 minutes before I looked for someone to take our drink order. Timing between courses was long. My steak was undercooked. However, I must say, the gluten free pizza was INCREDIBLE and I will be back for that but probably take out.

Had a reservation for 4. Told hostess that 2 of the guests were stuck in traffic and would be about an hour. Not a problem gave us a table. Online menu and menu at restaurant not the same. I ordered blackened shrimp with grits. The shrimp were not blackened but wrapped in prosciutto. I was disappointed at first. The dish was very good, but not what I ordered.

We sat for over five to ten minutes before a waitress came over. Wife requested a real menu instead of the QR scan (I looked it up and the list is not as comply as the real printed one). Drinks are terrible, wife’s cosmo tasted like lime juice and my old fashion tasted like bitter!! Hardly any liquor! Food was half decent at least. Waitress came over once to ask how are things. Took a long time to get the check! All in all, a horrible experience! Will never go back!

We had a wonderful time! Our server was friendly and fun, which really added to the experience. The food was great and the bottomless mimosas were a hit. They played great music also. I would definitely recommend.

Food was great. Server was cheerful and friendly but seemed a little overwhelmed. Bar seemed very backed up, possibly due to large cocktail hour crowd. And, especially during the cocktail hour, it was too noisy for extended conversation, which is what our group was there for.

Had brunch with friends. Had high hopes based on reviews I read, but the food and service was mediocre at best. Restaurant was very busy and loud. The avocado toast had zero taste. Both the eggs and bacon were undercooked. The chicken and waffles had no gravy which made it very dry. Poached eggs for Crab Benedict were overcooked.

Great selection of food. We had one vegetarian in crowd and there were many choices for her as well as everyone else! Usually there are only one or two items for vegetarian to select! Everyone enjoyed goat cheese pizza,even those that did not like goat cheese! Server was great! Will definitely be back!

Inventive and delicious food, great bar selection, all at reasonable prices. Attentive service. A bit loud, but probably right for the young crowd. In our mid-50's, we were probably the oldest people there. We'll be back!

They didn’t have our reservation even though I showed the hostess my confirmation. So you might want to check the restaurant itself if you book through Open Table. Luckily they had a table available. Food was good but service was spotty.

this place is usually a good vibe but service pre and during the pandemic are painfully slow. I go back because the atmosphere is usually worth it but if you get frustrated with understaffed restaurants, look elsewhere. The food is also not that great, their brunch is better.

We enjoyed the food here and the service was good. It gets busy on the weekends, but weekdays for lunch are a breeze and the food quality is still very good. Would definitely recommend.

Great place to celebrate my birthday with brunch. They were super accommodating too, as I came with my 4 month old and let us change tables to fit her car seat by me since she can’t sit in a high chair yet.

Brunch was delicious on a cold Saturday!! Food and service were both great! We shared shrimp and grits and short ribs and waffles!

Service has gotten pretty slow since the staff changed before/during COVID started. But don’t think it’s the staffs fault- they just seem to be a little under-staffed. The servers that they do have are so lovely and great. The food and ambiance are great though! My favorite place to come on Bedford street- especially for brunch. So yummy!!
