What can I say...Fabulous as always. It is such a pleasure to be in such a beautiful and delicious place!!
We had a lovely birthday lunch for my friend. The food was outstanding as usual, and the service was excellent. We lingered over the meal and were allowed to stay as long as we liked. And my friend received a complimentary chocolate gateau for her birthday. LPB had become one of my ver favorite places here.
our waitress Elizabeth was the best ever.
We went on a Monday night to celebrate my son's birthday
The reception and ambiance are authentic. One feels a different experience is about to happen
The menu is varied, unique and authentic
The view is exquisite
The service is exceptional
It is the real thing
It is expensive but when you consider that you don't have to travel outside Wisconsin to find an equivalent quality restaurant, it becomes a good value.
One of my very favorites in Milwaukee. Elegant with excellent food. Fits the beautiful surrounding neighborhood. Acoustics are difficult (loud) when it's busy, especially in the lakefront room. Best for weekdays until 4:00 pm. for my purposes.
Never disappoints! Have been here dozens and dozens of times and it is always consistently a winner. Food is amazing. Service also terrific.
Interesting French menu options, and the chosen items were very tasty. Portions seemed a bit small, but were still filling. Both servers were attentive and courteous enough. The section seemed overly loud, but it was full, and possibly was due to the acoustics of the room. The restaurant is icely decorated, has plenty of parking spaces, and offers a fairly wide variety of food choices.
It was a higher-priced meal experience, but worth it.
Excellent food excellent service. We drive around 10 miles to get there and it is well worth the drive.
Food was just okay. Staff was great. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Had a quick trip to Milwaukee and feel fortunate to have found this spot. The entire night was wonderful. Their wine choices were excellent and we tried a special cheese offering as a starter. While it was a little pricey, we did not go wrong. The presentation was beautiful on top of the cheese quality and taste. The one downside was we ate such a big starter that we didn't have a lot of room for our delectable entrees. We all took home leftovers and enjoyed them later. They presented us with a birthday treat of flourless chocolate cake which was a perfect ending to the meal. Will definitely return when back in Milwaukee.
The staff at Lake Park Bistro made sure I had an enjoyable birthday! The left a birthday card on the table and gave me a complimentary birthday dessert. Our waiter and waitress were great! Both very friendly, professionals and prompt. I just turned 21 and wanted a wine that I would like, sweet. The waiter asked my preference and brought out a recommendation that was fantastic! I wish I knew what it was called. My boyfriend and I steaks were cooked perfectly! My only 'complaint' is that my ribeye had too much of the red wine sauce on it. Other than that the fries, desserts and food were the best.
A damper was that their card machine happened to be down so we had to write our card information on the receipt and the waitress said she charge the card after the machines started working again. It was unsettling, we didn't really feel comfortable leaving all of our card information on a receipt. I hope she shredded it.
Other than that, amazing staff and great food! I am a rewards member so I'll be back to spend my rewards!
We always love going to Lake Park Bistro. Wonderful management and staff.
I have been to Lake Park Bistro a dozen times or so. I continue to love it after several years of frequenting this restaurant. It is wonderful for birthdays (I have celebrated mine there several times), family gatherings, special occasions or a lovely meal for two. Everything is always spot on and enjoyable. The staff is incredible, the location and outdoor views are lovely, food is decadent...go and enjoy yourself :)
It was a little difficult to understand the menu but the staff was very helpful to describe what was what. Service is exquisite, casual dress wear, great memories. Romantic vibe
Service was greatly improved from last two visits. Our waitresses were attentive and the pacing of the dishes was on point given how busy the restaurant was. An error on the bill was quickly corrected.
No Attention to detail! VERY salty food. Very big portions. Not good place for a foodie! No excitement in the menu or the presentation. Romantic atmosphere. No cell coverage! Not very good at cocktails but the wine list is pretty good. Our server was very nice this time despite everything else.
The Bartolottas need to visit the Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants in Chicago more often to learn how to put the whole package together for an excellent dining experience. The only place in town where you can get Dover Sole, hence it’s the best in town. It’s good, but very pricey. The steak frites is a favorite entree and the brussel sprouts are worth getting as a side dish. Service is not what it should be for the level of restaurant this place strives to be. The Noise level is extremely high, so if you’re going with a group larger than 4 people, it’s going to be hard to converse with everyone at your table. Lively atmosphere and beautiful setting.
Perennial favorite, Lake Park Bistro doesn't disappoint. Our server, Jessica, kept things moving nicely, offered an excellent wine recommendation, and took a great photo to memorialize our special evening. Thanks are due for the return of our beloved trout to the regular menu, especially with the mushrooms and artichokes. Our only critique was about the snapper. The fish tasted a bit "fishy" and the polenta was cooked with so much butter that it left a greasy puddle on the plate. Desserts are always wonderful. We had a great time overall:-)
Pate excellent, escargot presentation was beautiful, but not the best tasting I ever had. Fish was good, but again not the best I ever had. Deserts were very good but pricey. Restaurant did give complementary crème brûlée for my wife’s birthday. Will try again as other entries look better than ours.
Very satisfactory Food, Service and view.
Our waitress was excellent.
Always excellent in every way - food, ambience, service. One of my favorite restaurants in Milwaukee for dinner or lunch. And eating at the bar is always a great experience, too. I can't say enough good things about the service at Lake Park Bistro. The staff is so well trained, professional, and friendly without being overly chatty.
Great food and ambiance and absolutely best ribeye.
Amazing!!! Dinner was by far one of my favorites Looking forward to coming back.
Everything was great
Wonderful place for our anniversary. We had not been there in quite a few years but Lake Park Bistro remains a great destination restaurant for a special evening!
Just one of the best restaurants in Milwaukee! The service was outstanding as well, very nice people willing to make your evening a good one.
Even if we only get here once per year, it is always a perfect evening. Case in point our server chased after us to our waiting car to give us our requested leftovers!
Greg the waiter is amazing. Wonderful food--great atmosphere,
We come every year for anniversary. This year was very disappointing. Server was not very attentive, felt like we were a bother to her by being there. Came and went in a very big hurry. Our second server, was great and friendly! We both ordered the chefs dinner, the appetizer was delicious, the main meal was very disappointing! Meal was Cold when it arrived, pork tenderloin was tough!
The desert was also a let down, crust was very dry. Last year on our anniversary it was outstanding, as well as the year before. As we left my husband said next year we will go to Bartolotta‘s in the village if Wauwatosa.
Wonderful restaurant for celebrating special occasions. We had a table on the window and overlooked Lake Michigan as the sun was setting. There was a near full moon rising and as darkness grew the light of the moon shimmered on the lake. The setting is wonderful and our dinners were delicious. My husband ordered salmon and I had the filet mignon. Before the main dish, we had Coquille St. Jacques and French Onion soup. For dessert we shared Creme Brûlée. Lake Park Bistro is an expensive restaurant. The quality, service, and ambience justify the expense.
Great food, service and ambience! It was the perfect place to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The moon even cooperated by rising beautifully over the lake during dinner.
We love this place because it stays true to the classics. French bistro in MKE!
Our absolute favorite restaurant anywhere! We drive from Chicago to Milwaukee to enjoy this spectacular restaurant! It's as good as a total restaurant experience could possibly be.
I have been got the Lake Park Bistro numerous times for lunch. this was my first brunch and it was perfect. My partner also loved his selection. Carissa was most accommodating with our special requests and was most informative. It is my favorite restaurant in Milwaukee. I am from Madison and we drove over for a pre theater brunch at the Rep. Why doesn't (sp?) open a restaurant in Madison?
Thanks for another nice experience.
Disappointed the burger was not served in the manner ordered...medium-well. The burger was blood red. To the server's credit, she took the charge for the bill. I will return!!
Elegant evening with my wife for our 11th anniversary couldn’t ask for a better night food was wonderful atmosphere was good enjoyed the night.
Celebrated our anniversary here and it was such a nice surprise to get a little card and 2 glasses of champagne! Very nice- we always have a nice time here.
Didier and staff go out of their way to make the guest special. Kudos again for a great evening.
As always, the food, wine, service and atmosphere were top notch!
Fantastic restaurant where we celebrate our anniversary every year!
