    A Favorite! Top 3 Crab Cake Appetizers in The City!! They don’t put the “V” in the espresso martini anymore, but you have to appreciate a seafood restaurant with Smoked Old Fashions 🤞🏾

    Great experience. Went to celebrate a birthday and our server and two managers came up to the table to wish us a happy birthday. Gave us a card and complimentary glass of champagne and appetizer. Rose petals were on the table. Service was exceptional and the food quality was top notch. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

    I love this place . I’m from New Orleans but I’m always sure stop by for the 10 Oz filet, seafood tower and au gratin potatoes every chance I get . the 24 karat cocktail is my go to . they never disappoint. 10/10

    It was my birthday and my man took my here because it’s my favorite restaurant. He was a little hesitant because they didn’t have any fried fish in the menu… lol, I told him it wasn’t they kind of place. But he ordered the stuff shrimp and he loved it… but I told him it was about me, not him. But I knew it would be delicious. truffle mac & cheese and banana foster delicious

    Eddie V's was great. It was my birthday and they made me feel very special. Shotout to the waitress Sammy & and management. They were very attentive and made sure we were always satisfied. The table had a birthday card for me & and a complimentary desert. They even gave me a rose, lol. The food was good,clean establishment and overall a great experience. I will return!

    The food and service (Johnny) were outstanding! The crab fried rice is a “must” as a side item! We had the Norwegian Salmon as well as the Branzino… Branzino was one of the best that we’ve tasted!

    Very disappointing visit to this location. Regular customers in Austin and just moved to Houston. Walking distance to EV's, but doubt we will be doing that. First off, poor quality wine glasses for buying an expensive bottle of wine. Once past that, they failed to serve our salads and brought our main courses. When we asked, they correctly took the main course back and brought the salads. We ordered two Filet Mignon's and when they did serve fresh meals, one was slightly overcooked and one was undercooked. Worse than that, both cuts were the end of the Tenderloin and both had considerable marbling. I felt more like I was eating a poor quality Rib-Eye than a Filet. Vegetables were fine, but nothing outstanding. Frankly, the meal was well below the level of other local equals. Dessert was offered, but not an after dinner drink or anything else. Bill dropped off with the cursory, "no rush". Not a great night and likely not a "go back" for us at this location.

    Had an early Sunday night dinner with family. Food was excellent; started with their tuna tartare and it was plenty for 3 of us as an app. Since I last ordered it they've added a chili crunch to it and it was so flavorful that I could have it as an entree. Ordered their seabass with miso and as suggested by Taylor, our server, had it prepared with a slight braise and it was so delicious. The lobster bisque is excellent. We really enjoyed Taylor our server who was conversational and attentive. Had a wonderful night. It wont disappoint.

    We had an amazing experience. The food and live music was great. Our hostess Haley made our evening nothing less than elegant, warming, and presidential. Eddie's V's has a true asset(Haley). We celebrated our 27th anniversary and will definitely return. 👍🏾👍🏾

    We celebrated our 35th Wedding Anniversary and it was fabulous. The food, service and hospitality was outstanding as usual. We enjoyed a beautiful anniversary display prepared for us. We celebrated there last year for our 34th as well. We will be back next year for our 36th .. Everything was wonderful!!

    Went for my anniversary and the wife and I had a great time. All employees working that night were exceptional at what they do. The food was delicious. Yes, the shrimp fried rice is just as amazing as the other reviews stated lol, but also try the steak with the lobster mash potatoes. One of the best restaurants I’ve been too.

    Awesome dinner. Celebrating a Birthday and so surprised but appreciative to have four glasses of champagne brought upon being seated along w/ a bday card.     Your entire staff is made up with courteous, helpful people and Bradley has to be one of the very best waiters in town. He made sure my birthday was a success with complimentary champagne and attentive service. Our usual waiter, Nick, even dropped by to say hello. The food and ambience are always good, but I doubt if there is a restaurant in town that can compete with your service.

    Our arrival at Eddie V's was delayed by a traffic issue. We had theater tickets that required we be there at a specific time. We explained our time problem to management and our server, and they took the actions necessary to get us our crab cake, salmon, and Halibut in time to allow a quick dinner and attendance at the play. Plus, the food was delicious. Thanks Eddie V.

    Great evening! Ryan & Lynne at bar made delicious Cosmos, music was very good. Server , Renea was excellent as usual and Atul, the manager, came by to welcome us and say hello. Our dinner was delicious! It was a really nice date night!

    Caesar salad needs help. A place like Eddy V’s should not serve a marginal, Caesar salad  Crab stuffed shrimp was just OK wouldn’t order that again. Chilean Sea bass was a home run. Start of the evening with a smoked old fashion treat. Service was outstanding.

    Before I dig into this one, I have never had a bad experience at Eddie V’s prior to last night. Out of all of the times that I’ve been, they have been absolutely wonderful and I do enjoy going there, whether in Houston or other cities I’m visiting. And last night wasn’t bad, it just did not live up to the expectations set by previous visits. Last night, the bartender was phenomenal, and engaging. But, when I switched to my table, I got a server who was very inattentive. There were extremely long gaps between ordering drinks, appetizers, and entrees. In more than one case, he asked a question, and only listened to one of us at the table and walked off while I was in the middle of trying to get him to take my order. I found that annoying, because it was usually about 10 minutes before he would come back around. My colleague and I were constantly wondering how long it would take for him to come back. At one point, we flagged down another random server because we couldn’t locate our own. He didn’t ask for a temperature for my colleague’s wagyu steak, and he brought ahi tartare instead of steak tartare. But, was never to be seen to get those corrected, so we just rolled with the tuna tartare. And waited for someone to get the steak re-heated. Overall, the food was good and at a normal place, the service wouldn’t be considered awful, but the service was 2-3 stars worse than my typical visit to an Eddie V’s establishment.
